Pboro toffee 56 mil not enough when u look at what some other strikers go for who don't have anywhere near his goalscoring stats plus he still really young u would think 60-65 mil would be more realistic.

I total agree if an off form Torres was worth £50m and Andy Carol £35m then Rom is worth upwards of £65m with the number of goals he's scored and the fact he's still only 22. I just wanted to gauge opinion of my fellow toffees.

I see the papers are trying to sell Stones for us again with Real Madrid ready to pay the clubs valuation of £40m. Surely with us rejecting £40m from Chelsea in the summer it shows we value him higher than that. Oh and yen club insisting he isn't for sale either.

We won't sell for 40 mil myself I believe with his age and quality I'd say we could get 50 I mean if psg set a price range two yrs ago with David Luis over 50mil then surely we can get that at least.

I did say a couple of weeks ago they will bid this Jan upto 50mil.
Everton will not sell until the summer then there will be about 8 European and English bidding post the euros. 80 million I say.

ITV commentary team are saying Ardan Turan could be available during summer with Barcelona open to offers. I think he would be a great signing for us, what does everyone else think?

Papers saying Joe Hart could leave city this summer. He would be an excellent buy for us, a top class keeper just as we come into some money.

{Ed001's Note - I can understand that, both are dodgy. Flappers the pair of them. There are much better keepers in Germany I would suggest - Ron-Robert Zieler was at Man Utd as a youth so fits in with the long term Everton signing policy ;-) seriously though, he looks a quality keeper every time I watch him and the fact that he speaks good English and knows the country and area would mean he should be able to slot in easily.}

We have been waiting for Robles to get his chance and he hasn't let anyone down so far, perhaps if we stick with him he could be top class!
{Ed025's Note - for me wakka we need 2 top keepers to push each other, and i think joel could be one of them, what we dont need is a keeper who knows his place is guaranteed like it was with howard, this breeds complacency and i believe that was tims biggest downfall mate..

I really like Robles and has bags of potential. He's tall athletic with good reactions. He makes some mistakes in his distribution but he will learn by playing to work them out.
I wouldn't swap Hart or Marshall for him and as you said Ed have a younger understudy for him that plays cup games.

If we were to raise that in sales I would be happy with that money going towards transfers and then Moshiri's cash going towards the stadium (either redevelopment or new ground) .

The squad has a decent spine to it, we just need to compliment our better players with some new first class additions (if we can attract them) and a manager who can organise a defence and has some tactical know how.
