Young Brazilian ciao Emerson to sign for Everton in the summer from Corinthians.

Sirleduc

1.) 29 Jan 2017 18:42:26
Is it true or is it just paper talk . Would be great if we pull it off

{Ed002's Note - Certainly Everton have looked but there could be some work to do still (there is something a little messy in the background that needs resolving) - and obviously he cannot move until he is 18.}

2.) 29 Jan 2017 18:47:46
He is tipped to be a superstar in the near future hope this is true.

{Ed002's Note - He is just a kid, moving to a new country, change of culture, language issues, food, weather, the smokey & grimey north of England with the constant concern that the road beneath you will collapse in to the pits and mines below, having to wear a flat cap and hob-nailed boots is going to be tough for him. I would not get carried away just yet.}

3.) 29 Jan 2017 19:06:01
Agree ed it will be hard for him to adapt but if it's true I trust the club will do everything to look after him, and to help develop his progress as a footballer.

{Ed002's Note - I am sure they will Stef.}

4.) 29 Jan 2017 19:26:25
Pretty sure their r enough South Americans in the region to help him adapt

{Ed002's Note - Absolutely, run him down to the supermarket on a Saturday morning and let him hang with those Bolivian shepherds playing the pan pipes.}

5.) 29 Jan 2017 20:00:24
He would be welcome up here in God's Country. Lived in London and Paris the so-called places to be, two dirtier Cities I have yet to see.

6.) 29 Jan 2017 21:17:19
Have to say ed, your replies on this comment were on point. Had me laughing

7.) 29 Jan 2017 21:31:00
Obviously never seen him in the flesh or for 90 minutes on tv but his highlight reel just shows 2 things. He's fast, very very fast, usain bolt fast. He is raw and has no real idea of what his teammates are doing. Proper raw. Frankly that only special thing I could decifer from his "best" bits on YouTube was his unreal pace.

8.) 29 Jan 2017 22:21:12
Hob-nailed boots, . Luxury . When I were a lad we had the nail, took us 15 years to save enough for the boot and another 12 for the left one.

flat cap . Luxury . oh i can't be arsed

Strong rumours Koeman is furious with the board betting cut on him being the next manager to leave.

Sirleduc

1.) 01 Sep 2016 16:07:20
And where are these strong rumours from sirleduc.

2.) 01 Sep 2016 16:21:45
Worried about this . ronny is a winner and we are not meet g his expectations.

3.) 01 Sep 2016 16:33:42
Why would he be furious with the board? Interestingly, what are the odds of him remaining? Would like to put a few quid on that bet rather than the bet in your post.

4.) 01 Sep 2016 17:20:30
Nbtb on skybet next manager to leave club they have ronnie at 40/ 1 along with klopp and bilic is shorter odds at 25/ 1 so the odds are don't seem to shorten to much I suppose if u look at enough betting sites u will find something to worry about this is people just trying to find a story where there isn't one.

5.) 01 Sep 2016 17:46:58
Totally agree duke75. Media spinning you know what again. They are unreal. Anything that makes interesting reading. Doesn't matter if its true or not just as long as its juicy gossip.

6.) 01 Sep 2016 18:25:07
Are these the same betting sites that had us at 1/ 10 on to sign Sissoko yesterday when he was ALLEGEDLY coming? Bookies are in it for the coin and the only winner in the gambling industry is and always will be the bookie. I for one don't nothink think Ronnie is going anywhere givenue that it was him who said it will take 2 years to repair the last 2 years destruction. I do feel some fans need to be a bit more productive in their ramblings and actually find something tangible to moan about.

7.) 01 Sep 2016 18:27:03
The rumour came from the same site that had us favourites to sign, witsel, mata, strootman and the lock Ness monster.

{Ed025's Note - i would swap niasse for the loch ness monster smit.. :)

8.) 01 Sep 2016 22:18:40
Koeman has said himself that it's going to take time to build this team (2 years) so like many others I don't think he'll be going anywhere just yet.

17 Aug 2016 23:21:56
Joe hart is off to Sevilla. 100% on this one.
Sorry if your disappointed.

Sirleduc

1.) 18 Aug 2016 07:45:23
Where u hear this from and to be honest not really bothered hart so overrated prefer us to go for Forster butland or Leno.

2.) 18 Aug 2016 07:55:32
I hope you're right. I say give Stekelenburg his shot in goal. He had a great opening performance and I think he should be rewarded for it. I think he's been sat on the bench for too long at Fulham and wants to play. The man looks hungry, so let him feast.

3.) 18 Aug 2016 09:20:22
He played plenty of games last season. and they weren't for fulham.

4.) 18 Aug 2016 09:30:40
Yea I'd happily spend 30-40m on butland or Leno or perrin of Genoa.

5.) 18 Aug 2016 09:50:08
It's one of his options.
I don't think he's decided yet.

He could well wait till January.
He will do what's best for him.
If he wants to remain England keeper then I don't think going to Spain will be the answer as others in the Premiership will be more in the spotlight.

6.) 18 Aug 2016 10:18:51
I hope so.

7.) 18 Aug 2016 12:01:53
Toffee time yes he played 17 times last season for Southampton on loan. Plenty of games? Season before 1 game on loan with Monaco I think. Season before that 19 times. So in 3 seasons he played 37 times. Not great for a keeper.

Don't get me wrong he deserves a proper shot at being keeper for Everton. I was over the moon with his performance against Spuds. I may stand corrected but as far as I know the above appearances are fact.

Whether he becomes our number one or number two it was a shrewd bit of business bringing him to Everton. I'm delighted he is in the squad.

8.) 18 Aug 2016 18:20:16
Good to see Hart going to Sevilla as he is the most overrated keeper in world football. Would take Stekelenburg over Hart every day of the week and twice on Sunday. In saying that I still believe we need a top quality keeper, just glad it ain't Hart. How he is still England's number 1 is mystifying.

{Ed025's Note - im with you dero..

9.) 19 Aug 2016 08:38:09
Thanks end for my acknowledgment I said this all along with my ranting and you agree with someone else. Hhmmpdff lol.

26 Jun 2016 23:30:40
Heard stones is nailed on for city I am wondering if maybe we may look to get one or two off them in part ex. I would personally take navas and bony.

Sirleduc

1.) 27 Jun 2016 09:19:05
Wouldnt take any of those make weights!

2.) 27 Jun 2016 11:23:14
Navas is arguably the most overrated winger in the Prem. most frustrating player i've seen for a long time. On trick pony, beat man to the byline with pace, smack ball hard and low to nobody in the box.

Bony found out at a better team, would be gutted if we took him over money.

3.) 27 Jun 2016 16:35:35
Yep I disagree too. Firstly, exchange deals are notoriously difficult so are normally avoided. I do like bony but think there are others out there who are better. Maybe if Rom goes we will look at him as well as another? Navas, well he's fast and does seem to work hard. That's it. There are plenty of fast wingers around, just most of them have no end game.

4.) 27 Jun 2016 16:44:56
I know he spent last season on loan but surely Mcgeady is the most overrated winger in the prem/ ever. well him or niclas Alexandersson.

5.) 27 Jun 2016 17:08:22
I have a better idea. SwapStones for Silva. Fair swap.

6.) 27 Jun 2016 19:10:06
Alexandersson. What a legend. Viva Pistone!

7.) 27 Jun 2016 19:12:41
Swap for some players you having a laugh outside there top 11 the rest are dreadful.

8.) 27 Jun 2016 23:32:18
And some in that 11!

9.) 28 Jun 2016 00:52:15
I would take Sami Nasri and Silva.

10.) 28 Jun 2016 10:26:24
And you can keep Hart.

02 Jun 2016 22:46:50

A lot of money seems to be going on Hart to Everton now 11-8 and getting shorter. Is this why we have held off signing a top keeper all summer?

Sirleduc

1.) 15 Aug 2016 09:19:12
I hope not.

04 Jul 2016 19:43:50
Mata is off to Valencia the dream was good why it lasted.

Sirleduc

1.) 05 Jul 2016 07:51:31
Musa turned down Everton to sign for Leicester City. News latest. This is the first part of the reality check I suggested and people accused me of being negative. Chapions League teams get first choice of ambitious footballers. Next comes Europa League teams. Next comes wealthy clubs. That's our bracket. We get the left overs not the first course.

2.) 05 Jul 2016 08:59:37
thats a load of crap Degs, its all about money now, he is probably on a fair wage with Leicester and if we offered 30k a week more he would come to us, obviously we have a wage cap and would not offer more, not as if its much of a loss anyway as who had actually heard much of him before it was reported in the press, also did he turn down Everton, must have if the press reported it mate.

regarding your "we get the leftovers", I prefer to see it as the top clubs get the main meal and we get the dessert first, I like it better this way, optimism all the way for me mate

We will have some good news soon and I for one am not worried in the slightest, we have a mega rich owner, new ground will be sat on the docks at Liverpool by 2020 and a footballing legend as manager, your wish of goal scoring midfielders is just over the horizon mate, i'm no having a go if it sounds like that Degs just trying to put some positivity on it, chin up and enjoy the ride.

3.) 05 Jul 2016 09:22:44
i completely disagree Degs, i think murf is right about the money being no.1

exluding the one season under martinez we've only participated in the premier league for a number of years. yet martinez was still able to sign Luakaku, Deulefeu etc.
And Moyse got was a bit more reserved with signings such as Coleman, Cahill, Jags etc all coming from local (UK sides)

We now have a new mnager with his own targets. a manager who after loosing star players managed to slot new players into SH and keep them way above us in the prem (credit to the scouts aswell ofc)

You seem like a real negative bloke bbut i can see were you're coming from. have a little more faith. we picked up Niasse fromt he Russian league in Jan. i believe he was leading the goal whihc mean as far as russia is concerned Niasse played better then Musa and chose to come to us.

We'll see how the window plays out. i think RK has his plans as well as his back ups. just a tireless matter of waiting lads

COYB.

4.) 05 Jul 2016 09:22:59
Exactly Murf, very happy Evertonian. Plenty of good times ahead.

17 May 2016 09:29:05
Vitor pereira a done deal again svenny?

Sirleduc

1.) 17 May 2016 09:41:12
ha ha, don't kick him off again Sir.

2.) 17 May 2016 11:30:19
Haha and he said that Martinez was definitely staying after that carragher interview.

3.) 17 May 2016 10:35:29
No we have not approached him yet. Why was that such a big thing? He had a meeting with Kenwright before anyone else including Martinez was approached that is a fact. I was informed that the meeting was a positive one. That was all.

4.) 17 May 2016 15:43:12
How else could you view his comments in that interview? He spoke mainly about the future. What's sad is either the board blindsided him completely or he genuinely needs some help if he gave that interview thinking anything other than he was staying.
The communication and pr department need their heads checked for allowing that interview to be released if there was any indication he was going to be fired.
I never said I had a source re Martinez staying just gave my opinion based on what he was saying.
My ties to the club have been well and truly severed I have zero inside information anymore.

5.) 17 May 2016 16:54:05
You had zero information even when you had so called ties haha.

09 May 2016 08:11:45
I like Roberto has a person but he's not good enough as a manager I am disgusted by some of the players poor attitudes especially lukaku. We need a clear out from top to bottom for me Koeman is the man has he's already done this at saints and invested very wisely. Considering this is our biggest summer for years I think he has the status and class. The only other options for me are de boer or laudrup. Please board get rid of Roberto before Sunday else I dread to think what will happen.

The duck.
