Hear Utd will be offloading Wellbeck ed hope he does not end up at Goodison don't rate him.

SunnyRuss

{Ed025's Note - i cant see it sunny, i hope we are setting our sites higher than him mate..

1.) I like welbeck and think if we got him he would surprise everyone and do a really good job at Everton he only don't get in uniteds team because they have Rooney an rvp I no its all about opinions an we all have our own an mine is he would be a great signing

2.) 21 Apr 2014 01:16:36
Works hard, has pace and power but tries too many flicks, poor touches, can't finish, has woeful control and is frustrating not to mention he isn't a goalscorer, give me bony anyday

3.) I have a feeling that utd will offer Welbeck or Hernandez + cash for Coleman

4.) I would take him not as our first choice st though would not pay more than eight mil either

Poor performance today, no excuses, we were just not good enough. Hope this season is not going to fizzle out were a great team, let's bounce back against City.

I don't know what to think of this season if we come fifth it would come down to a big disapointment but obviously be in Europe once again. Come fourth and it's heaven still can't get my head round the Palace performance I think we went on to the field thinking we already had won the game, it was such a let down. Hoping for 3 points against the saints and who knows the barcodes may do us a favour, who expected Sunderland to beat Chelsea?

SunnyRuss

{Ed025's Note - i know what i think of this season sunny...exellent!, considering we have a new manager, and all the problems that brings, i could not have hoped for more, plus the positivity and style of play we have witnessed really does make me proud to be a blue mate..

1.) I agree Ed the football has been a joy to watch, a few good additions to the squad in the summer would be fantastic. Think Bill will support Roberto as he can see the buzz around the place, I know he has his critics but he's Everton through and through, top man.

{Ed025's Note - your preaching to the converted there sunny, i have total respect for the guy mate..

2.) What has surprised me is the consistency. Under Moyes, we were a lot more difficult to beat that under Walter Smith. Moyes at the end had us playing some decent stuff too. However, under Roberto, we have moved up another gear and I can only think of the Crystal Palace and Liverpool games where we played poorly. That is 33 games of pretty decent consistency. When you think of the injury list and having to bring in John Stones etc, the man has done a remarkable job.

I'm hoping next season we take the Carling Cup serious ed no resting players need to get the monkey off our back. Back in Europe next season is a big plus I expect us to go far. Come on Blues.

Cup wins gets u the same european football as 5th in the league and that is not good enough. If we get in the top 4 and win a cup I feel that should be our aspirations for next season.

My premiership team of the season.
Marshall
Coleman
Cahill
Terry
Shaw
Silva
Gerrard
Toure
Hazzard
Lukaku
Sturridge

SunnyRuss

1.) You can't really think Lukaku has been a better player than Luis Suarez, Sunny.

Lets be honest, Suarez has been head and shoulders above everyone in the league this season. He has been on a different planet to the rest.

I agree with the other 10 though.

2.) 23 Apr 2014 13:44:03
lukaku better than suarez? you're having a laugh mate

marshall

coleman
cahill
distin
azpilicueta

sturridge
gerrard
toure
hazard

suarez
aguero

3.) Mine:
Howard (Howard been outstanding this season)
Coleman
Cahill
Terry
Azpilicueta
Gerrard
Toure
Hazard
Silva
Sturridge
Suarez

It's a rule that we have to have a full back in the BPL team of the year =)

4.) 23 Apr 2014 22:38:33
Here's mine
Mignolet
Coleman
Cahill
Kompany
Shaw
Gerrard
Yaya Toure
Hazard
Sturridge
Suarez
Coutinho.
can't argue that liverpools forwards play this season has been 2nd to none this season and is why they sit where they are and their competitive edge comes from all the players in my team of the season. Hope our free flowing football can rival that next season quite similarly. Their 1st season with br was poor, but this year its clicked. We have clicked during the last 5 months or so, start the season how we have begun the 2nd half of this season and we'll be fighting for the league. Just hope we get our deserts this season with top 4 finish.

{Ed025's Note - i have to disagree with mignolet and coutinho craig, not because they are reds, but mignolet is an accident waiting to happen, and coutinho blows hot and cold...just my oplnion..

5.) Does anyone not think McCarthy deserves a shout at the least? don't know where he'd fit into the team of the season (who he'd replace in it) but personally think he's had an outstanding season?

{Ed025's Note - he has tony, your dead right mate..

6.) 24 Apr 2014 22:26:43
I could replace mignolet with cech. There's a reason why chelsea finish the season commonly with fewest goals conceded. As for coutinho, I would maybe move hazard from the 3 man midfield into the wide striker and select our very own james mac. The field area the guy covers per game is astounding, he is solid in the tackle breaking up countless counter attacks, does his job so well, and he is now looking such a cheap quality acquisition by rm.

Got a feeling Newcastle could do us a favour at the weekend, surely they can't keep loosing. I'm praying for us to be in champions league were we belong.

SunnyRuss

1.) Too many clubs and their fans think they "belong" in certain positions - I hope we're not like those deluded ones.
There are loads of clubs that - based on money spent, size of fanbase, history and tradition, etc. - should still be successful, but have failed and are now just also-rans or faded giants.
It's great to be ambitious - and RM is showing that we can deliver - but you earn success by properly running the football club and playing winning football.

{Ed025's Note - very true sid..

2.) 23 Apr 2014 13:44:51
newcastle will not win another game this season, woeful team

{Ed025's Note - got to agree..

Barmby got 3 winners medals the season he left us, but was in and out of the team with them so don't know if you say he went on to better things.
