Holgate will become a fine player. He is still much too young to be a commanding CH as yet though. 2 more years will show what he is capable of becoming.

Mason Holgate is undoubtedly talented and has a bright future, my only concern for him is that he seems to suffer a lot with injuries. Maybe he’s just been unlucky, or maybe he’s a bit prone to them?

Scott Cloman once played American Football for the Washington Red Skins, he wasn't very good and he retired years ago, too old and slow now, too many old slow players in our defense and now this SILVA OUT.

Yeah it's looking like it's time to accept the kid isn't for us.
He will be a star somewhere that I'm sure but why keep him if he wants out?
I hope it's mischief making from the lazy press but the smoke has been pouring out for a while with this kid.
Anyway, we need performers ready now, not being distracted fighting over someone who might be good in 2 years.
We already have a club with a fantastic academy, I'm not knocking it in anyway. i'm defending myself from anyone claiming we need youth.
Yes we do, and we have it. Just this guy obviously wants 1st team football, I respect that.
Let's see if he comes back to haunt us or if he ends up in league 1.

Not just Silva Ed. Koeman, Unsie and even Fat SAM didn’t like / trust him. Surely that tells us something? The kid has ability without doubt but he only does it in patches. Not shown the consistency for me so if he goes, so be it. Just hope we get a sell on clause because he COULD be a top player.
{Ed025's Note - but hes only a kid dave so i think we can forgive the odd mistake mate, but as you say managers dont always see what we see and im sure they know what they are doing...except for big sam of course..

Team comes first. His ability is clear for all to see so you’d have to assume his attitude is suspect or he’s unhappy. Either way, there are other young, talented players in the world who would want to play for us. As you rightly said Ed, up to Silva/ Brands to work it out.

No issues with the ‘odd mistake†but he has seemingly been unhappy for past 18 months or so. We’ve only seen his ability in cameos so, if he doesn’t want to be here,

Like I said in the banter post. it appears all the comments about Lookman being unhappy are coming from the Leipzig boss. I can only think he is trying to unsettle Lookman and Everton.
{Ed002's Note - Lookman wanted assurances and is now having to watch Everton hunt around for players in his position - the likes of Rebic, Malcom, Brahimi and Richarlison all being mentioned. He knows he can get first team football in Germany and certainly Trimboli has spoken to the likes of Southampton, Arsenal, Spartak and Crystal Palace as well as RBL.}

It’s going to be a hard first game wolves will be bouncing back to the prem loads of big name signings and a excellent manager. Just hope our experience can get us the 3 points. We now have some scary pace which we have missed since Royston Drenthe 😂😂. Silva and brands have worked hard and delivered any doubters should chill out and give them time.
