Just wanted to come over and say best of luck for the remainder of the season. I still think you'll stay up, just. But the hierarchy need to fix this slide by either getting football people in or selling up.

There is a history of teams that continually battle for safety that eventually drop and I hope you guys don't follow suit.

It was said last year but I think big Duncan is needed just to get some fighting spirit in those players and get the fans pulling together. If the split widens it could be disastrous.

Longer term, and I know it'll divide opinions, but I'd be going for dyche. Take it all back to basics moving forward, become hard to beat and build from there. However, with your lots decision making they will probably pick a football dinosaur or worse and turn back to big Sam.

Thanks Red, out of who’s available (and who we could realistically attract) Dyche would be my choice as well. Potch and Tuchel are pipe dreams and anyone we have to pay compensation for is a no go. So anyway, Dyche is the one that stands out for me, he’s not fashionable but he’s been there and if the worst a happens he’s already got a team out of the championship so would already have someone with experience in that league.

2.) 22 Jan 2023 14:11:55
Cheers WYRed…. Your not wrong my friend.

3.) 22 Jan 2023 13:50:33
Premier league survival has to be the no:1 priority, and i find it astonishing that your board have not acted quickly to try and get your club up the table and safe.
There is still enough time to get Dyche in and possibly 1 or 2 bodies to strengthen.
As far as Dunc is concerned, why would you want to bring someone else in with no experience, when you current manager has none and is currently taking you down?
Action is needed within the next couple of days with the manager, because the longer it is left, the more chance you won't get out of it.

4.) 22 Jan 2023 13:57:10
The way yous are playing at the min yous might be looking at Dyche yourselves.

5.) 22 Jan 2023 20:24:44
We already have the best, but we aren't talking about Jurgen or Liverpool, we are talking about the PL survival of your club, and the inability of you board to pull the trigger and try their best to improve results.

Firstly, I just want to say not all Liverpool fans want you relegated, yes some will be on the wind up but personally I hope you don't go down.

Everton are a big club and the derbies are big games year in year out, losing that for a season or more would be a shame for the league as well as the City.

As for Wednesday it is a final, if lamps can't get the boys riled up for that game you are deep in the mire. The problem is Dyche knows exactly how to get a team up for these occasions and I fear he may just have more nous then lamps to see it through.

The winner of that game stays up imo, it really is do or die.

I watched you yesterday and you were fairly well organised but just lacking that cutting edge and too many mistakes. At this stage of the season it's all about keeping it tight and having the players who can grab goals. Unfortunately, other then DCL I don't see where they come from. And he still is way off his best!

You were clearly capable of winning games after the start you had but it has just spiralled to a point where all confidence has been drained.

Now it really is roll your sleeves up time for this lot, get the points needed and reassess in the summer. But that's exactly why I would of gone for Big Dunc instead of Lamps.

I feel for you supporters the most, your team has spent so much money but it's been mishandled and poorly judged. With the outlay you should be at least fighting for European places not experiencing the real possibility of the drop

As I say all the best for the rest of the season, except us! And hopefully you do enough to confine Norwich, Burnley (about time they went) and Watford for the drop.

{Ed025's Note - good and fair post that WYred mate..

1.) 04 Apr 2022 12:10:41
Yea good post WYred. I agree with you about Dyche having Burnley fired up for Wednesday - that's the biggest concern right now that him and his team have been here before and got themselves out of it. On all known evidence we lack the heart for a battle so it's all looking pretty bleak!

Congrats on the win chaps. Its been a long time coming and won't complain (although I don't think it was a pen but that wasn't why we lost) .

Enjoy it, and here is to the battle for the top four.

WYred

1.) 20 Feb 2021 19:45:27
I said it wasn't a pen at the time. Looking at the replay I can see why it's been given. I don't think TAA could do anything about it mind. Not sure what's happening with Liverpool lately but they are definitely going through a bad patch. The march for Europe continues.

2.) 20 Feb 2021 19:50:23
Without Trent sliding in it would have been an easy tap in. As such, he didn't get the ball and stopped an obvious scoring opportunity. Therefore a clear cut penalty.

3.) 20 Feb 2021 19:58:21
Whether he meant to do it was not the issue, he stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity every time. The VAR was to decide whether it was a sending off.
It wasn't, and as I will still debate with any red that Jasongate was not either.

4.) 20 Feb 2021 20:08:23
surprised we got the pen but do feel that as taa slides in he then sat up knowing he would stop dcl get though, just my view but we held our nerve, though holgate, keane and pickford saved us when needed.

5.) 20 Feb 2021 20:14:34
I'm not sure what else the lad could do but its by the by, you beat us and from your point of view its a shame there were no fans in their to enjoy it.

As for us, there is a whole host of problems and we are in a rut. It'll get better but it'll take time to do so. Football is a roller coaster, I've been lucky enough to see some unbelievable highs. And now we are in a low, you have to take the rough with the smooth as you boys know as you've had your fair share.

Another good win for you boys, said after your first game you will challenge for top four and four games in you still look good. You need to replace little arms but other then that I think you have a decent team and manager. No Europe may give you the upper hand over Chelsea and United.
The derby should be a good one, last few have been a bit dire to say the least.
All the best for the season chaps barring the derbies ofc.

WYred

1.) 03 Oct 2020 17:53:03
Its like a dream Wyred not sure how we'll cope having 5 wins out of 5.
You guys have strong mentality o should bounce back after the derby mate.

2.) 03 Oct 2020 18:22:02
This is probably the best everton team I've seen in my lifetime so you have every chance in the derby mate. After the international break itll be a toss up how both teams preform and itll be down to luck (injuries and if there are any more C.V. cases) but I'm already looking forward to it. I just hope its not a damp squib.
Happy you guys finally have a decent manager and seem to be well away from the martinez days.

3.) 03 Oct 2020 19:51:24
Hopefully it'll be a 4-3 thriller mate. Hopefully us winning though we are due one.

Watched your game today and you were miles better then spurs, it’s only one game but think you are in for a good season. Top 6 is up for grabs and you just got one over on the competition.

Your midfield is much improved and I think DCL is someone that can get 15-20 goals. I think he may get more then Kane this season.

Best of luck for the season, except in the derbies!

WYred

{Ed025's Note - we done well WYred considering it was a new midfield, im well chuffed mate and hope we can build on it...cheers..

1.) 13 Sep 2020 19:55:54
Thanks WYred hopefully van Dyke gets his shot together as he was all over the place on Saturday.
First game of the season always throws up some strange results.

2.) 13 Sep 2020 20:39:40
Getting the mistakes out early I hope mate, limited pre season and internationals were always going to make it tough for teams. So it’s testament to you boys for playing so well as a group, especially when it was practically a new midfield.

3.) 13 Sep 2020 20:54:36
Thanks WY red.

I'll admit, when I watched it live I thought he launched it into the crowd and thought he'd get sent off or a retrospective ban. However seeing the opposite angle he does appear to throw it along the crowd and into the empty corner.

Still silly as he could of got it wrong but a small fine and a talking to should put it to bed.

Ok I’ll bite, past players have no reflection on the club. I think most Liverpool fans think carra was way out of line. But so has gylfi or greenwood. But neither are a reflection of rival fans.

And as for the fans, we have idiots that do things the majority disagree with (city’s bus) but every club is the same, some evertonians smashed up TV’s and seats in the ground. Again these are no reflection on the full fan base.

As for the club they’ve made mistakes, but the fans have equally called them out on. ESL as an example and also furlough.

We have a captain that did wonders through C.V. to get players together but that is forgotten as it doesn’t fit with your narrative.

We as Liverpool fans know we are experiencing peak enjoyment of football before we go back to also rans. But we know we have to enjoy every second of it before it changes back and someone else is riding high.

I’ve said from day dot that I hope you don’t go down but maybe lose the chip life is to short to get angry over another team.

I just wouldn't put carra on our games full stop.

He gets carried away when we score but then half the time tries to act unbiased by going completely against logic.

It's bad enough hearing Neville and Tyler on a united game so I get the frustration.

Having a bit of bias as pundits is OK but on commentary it should be neutral and if he can't do that, he shouldn't be on.

Ginger the second one wasn't simulation but was a 50/ 50 decision some you get some you don't. But his dive first half made getting it difficult as the ref would think he's looking for it.

As for mane, he flicked the guys nose, stupid but hardly a red.

Richy was petulant and could of seen red.

You lost today because you lacked quality up top and your game plan was to unsettle us, wich worked for most of the game. But you switched off a few times and got punished.
