Has Lukaku been given permission not to return for pre-season?, until he's signed sealed delivered he's still an Everton player, I hope he's not being paid for the mockery he is making of our club.

ssn reporting lukaku still in la and will probably have his medical etc out there before joining up with man utd in la for their pre season tour.

He was given permission to have an extended break because of international games, if he did not come back as requested he would be fined.
The club are negotiating his transfer and I'm sure this will be resolved shortly, who to we do not know, but the expectation is Man utd.
We all knew he wanted to leave ages ago so I don't really still understand the obsession with him, and what he is doing?
He won't be playing for us again and I for one have moved on from Lukaku and look forward to seeing his replacement in our colours!

I think it's replacements, we were too reliant on him and RK knows this which is why he's gone for signings and productivity. So I don't think we will have a 25 goal player but maybe 3 x 10 goals.

welsh blue the lad put in a shift or two for us and that deserves respect. Koeman needs a Squad of 25-30 players and Cleverly is in the mix, he goes then we need a replacement. 'Don't leave a job until you have a job' is my philosophy.

3 days left, I know it sounds daft but this feels like the longest transfer window in the history of ever!, how many ins? How many outs?

Good question. but. how many ins that can immediately make the first team and strengthen us? A goalkeeper, a center half with captains abilit and totally a leader and a strong wide midfielder who scares the proverbial out of everyone and a ball winner who has slotted in and contributes to going forwards too! That will do me for now! And there is still 2 days to sign another 2. I really never expected to be signing players of the quality we have. for once I am going to be totally patient and say have trust in the manager. All this done without breaking into the 100 million that we are promised is available! Imagine what this manager can do when the top players actually want to sign for us. So far he has identified some class acts and exactly what we needed. We still need Sissoko or someone similar. This is not forgetting he has got Mirallas playing like he did under Moyes. What a player. Barkley has his confidence back too. Happy days. I know there will be ups and downs, but I genuinely feel we are back on track agin. Signing players like Kone, Alcaraz, McGeady, Lennon, Cleverly, McCarthy etc had relegation written all over it. Compare them with the 4 the new manager has signed. I may be being harsh with including McCarthy, but he is a stopper. and does not contribute with forward play. unlike Gueye. A stopper who can pass forwards.

Spot on Degsy. Think ahead to next summer and if we continue in the vein we are in now how easy it will be to sign players compared to this.
It's tough being patient even to an optimist like me but I couldn't be happier with the business done already.

Koeman has said himself that it's going to take time to build this team (2 years) so like many others I don't think he'll be going anywhere just yet.
