Eds how much truth is there is the Bernard links, I saw the other day that ED02 had said he had better offers, so why suddenly are we '24 hours' away from the signing. Is there truth in this, or more rumour.

Wish we would give some insight on what was going on, be nice to know if this is true or just rumour, I have a feeling this is a smokescreen and will go on longer than just today.

As well as if there is any truth n the Mina and Malcom rumours?
{Ed002's Note - I have explained about Malcom. The situation with Yerry Mina remains two English sides have put offers on the table (one from Everton) and neither are deemed acceptable. Fenerbahce has also made an offer but are now pushing elsewhere and an offer has already been provided by Boca. Barcelona may consider a loan but they must move him on if they are to make the transfers they want this summer. There would be plenty of risks in his moving to England - language, culture, adapting to a very different game, etc..}

Ed, cheers for that. Can we actually expect these signings to be pulled off, or is it just paper talk as such? From your comments it sounds like the Mina one won't be happening.

{Ed001's Note - I would say that the person who told me Everton had asked about Malcom would know better than the Echo. They have not been a good source of info in recent years, sadly. Only his agent has confirmed that Everton enquired.}

And maybe it’s a double bluff Ed001. Who knows. Totally agree regards the Echo not being a reliable source though. Though lot of difference between ‘asking’ about him and signing imminent which the headlines said. Fingers crossed eh.
