Hi ed, wanted your thought, if we get the bew stadium at the docks, what will the capacity be, because surely if its 60,000 stadium were not going to fill it our we, and if we did surely the season tickets would come down in price, get more people in if it cheaoer. any other thoughts my fellew blues.

danmc80

{Ed025's Note - it would have to be 55-60,000 dan for it to be used as a venue for other things i suspect mate, west ham have just moved and they are getting 56.000 at games now and that could also be the case for us mate..

1.) 29 Dec 2016 20:17:20
How little faith. Dan are you 80 or born in 80. If you know your History and all that! We will fill a 60000, easy enough. Many cannot afford Season tickets but many many more can attend games on an ad hock basis.

2.) 29 Dec 2016 21:14:53
Well I have been in Goodison when we had almost 80,000 and that was at a time when people did't have the money they have now. We can fill a 60,000 seat stadium if we play the sort of attractive football that people want to see. Of course the fact that you can watch games on TV is a big problem in filling stadiums these days. The key to me is having exciting games you want to watch, easy access and parking and good beer and pies.

3.) 29 Dec 2016 21:19:48
I just wanted people views boys, yes i was born in 1980 but got ny season ticket in 1989. i hope i'm wrong and we do fill it.

4.) 29 Dec 2016 22:15:07
I know it's small in the grand scheme of things but I live in Berkshire and myself, the wife (now a converted blue) my 8 year old boy and 6 year old daughter would love us in a bigger stadium to be able to get up and see my beloved Everton play.
Further to that I have about a dozen mates who are blues plus their partners and kids and then my uncles and cousins on top of that!
So there is a load of southern blues who would love us to have a bigger stadium for a chance to get up and see games, my boy is desperate to get to see a game at goodison instead of away games down this way.
So could we fill 60000? I think we could easily fill that and more!

{Ed025's Note - as good as that would be ST you need to try and get them to a night game at goodison before its gone, its amazing and unique experience im sure it is something they would remember forever mate...the old lady under lights can never be beaten..

5.) 29 Dec 2016 22:16:43
I went to my first game in 1963, the official attendance was 52000. And that didn't include the ones the guys on the gate didn't put through the books.

6.) 30 Dec 2016 09:15:26
Ed I would love to get them up to a home game just a minefield with the calendar the kids seem to have busier social lives than I do! And whenever we have time free there are never tickets available but will keep trying.

{Ed025's Note - you can only try ST its just that you may look back in years to come and say that visiting the old lady with the family was a real highlight, i expect us to move within the next 2 years so the time is ticking mate, it will be seen in the same light as a pilgrimage to lourdes.. :)

7.) 30 Dec 2016 13:56:37
Lol like I need the additional pressure Ed!

{Ed025's Note - thats what im here for ST.. :)

31 Aug 2016 21:57:40
Ed, can u see kone signing, or brahini ir gabbini signing, i personally think its not been exciting as we got promised, and getting valencia on loan, west ham must be buzzing. what u thoughts ed.

danmc80

{Ed025's Note - i think we may well be thwarted on the first 2 dan, we offered top dollar but no cigar by the looks of it, valencia should be given a chance, with better players around him like we possess he could be a decent recruit mate..

31 Aug 2016 14:23:04
Ed, are we interested or attepting to sign kone and grosiki the winger. i'm loosing weight with nervous here stiring at ssn on my phone. etid.

danmc80

{Ed041's Note - kone is of interest.

1.) 31 Aug 2016 16:28:22
Eds do you have any info any deals that are likely to happen. anxious efc fan here.

{Ed025's Note - we all are fanatic, the guys are pulling out all the stops to make things happen but there are always problems mate..

16 Aug 2016 13:59:44
Anyone heard the wisper, mccarthy a swap for kone, personally i'd take that deal. what u think ed.

danmc80

{Ed025's Note -seems about fair to me dan..

1.) 16 Aug 2016 18:27:05
Not sure this will happen think james lost his way under spanish bob as in he never new what tactics he was playing from one min to the next still think he is a good player.

2.) 16 Aug 2016 20:03:34
I would definitely give McCarthy till January to see if Koeman can get him back to his old self. If not, then let him move on.

3.) 16 Aug 2016 21:06:40
I would not take the swap. It was only the first game but McArthy looked the Nats in the RWB role that Koeman seems to have recognised him for but let's see if he picks him again for that position on Saturday. McArthy, Jags, Williams, Funes, Baines as a back 5.

4.) 17 Aug 2016 17:50:37
It's mad start or last year rumours for McCarthy arsenal etc. The Irish pundits tear him a new one at the euro's and he's brutal. I think we need to keep him Barry's last season gibbo is not cutting the mustard . McCarthy will learn a heap this season he is a great back up if he can't make the team and obviously flexible to play where's told. McCarthy 2 seasons ago was a beast playing for Koeman has to increase his chances of finding his form.

At the boxing at goodison, seen big dunc spoke to him for 2 mins, asked like every other person who he'd like personally he said, frank de beor, and bally (left bk to us ) he said the same, thinks highly of him and said he be a better choice than koeman, but said he thinks it be announced 1st june wed. id like franky boy myself . but knowing us it prob be decided a week before the season. this manager lark killing me like every other blue, its like waiting to be sentanced.

danmc80

1.) 30 May 2016 14:21:45
. I spoke to big Dunc too and asked him what colour I should paint my toilet to which he responded pink the same colour as my wife's knickers and that pig flying above Farhads return flight home from Milan! ;)

2.) 30 May 2016 14:57:51
Was it salmon pink, nice colour, listen it came out of duncs gob, not sayin its him but that's what they both said, bally played with de boer at rangers, and to be fair he did say de beor waiti g for Barcelona even if its in 2 or 5 years.

3.) 30 May 2016 15:09:52
. fair enough. but it won't be FDB. & it's not up to big Dunc either. he's not the man that Farhad wants. & I'm afraid billionaires get the men they want so it's more likely to be Koeman, Emery, Pelligrini or someone that hasn't even been mentioned yet mate.

4.) 30 May 2016 15:21:07
well my money is on simeoni, that's why we waited.

5.) 30 May 2016 16:01:11
Rule nothing out mate. if we can afford £6 million a year for Koeman that means we can afford Diego too.

6.) 30 May 2016 16:04:43
Soli i agree what your sayin, but he's opionion doesn't mean its him, he could of said simeone, koeman, audrey roberts ( pelligrini) just his and others opionions, id love simeone, really would, but i agree with money talks.

7.) 30 May 2016 16:14:42
Good info Dan and don't get soli sarrcy response. Ball has already said he thinks fdb as he played with him before and thinks he would be good and maybe dunc is just siding with his pal but still interesting.

8.) 30 May 2016 18:07:45
I really hope we don't get Simeone, can't stand the bloke. FDB is the one I'd like at the moment, purely on his track record with youngsters coming through at Ajax. TBH I'm still reeling after the boxing last night with Big Dunc giving an interview!

Bad bad news boys, seen ross in freshfields, nice lad and pleasent, we had mutual friends in common and got to talk abit more in depth, i asked about him signing, he said he us renting his new house out, which he's only just bought, he said he was going to wait what tom does but then. signs ain't good, said he speaks to eric dier alot, going to ibiza with him and some old ex everton players they pkayed with. just letting ya know.

danmc80

1.) 03 May 2017 07:36:14
How did ross manage to get to freshfield on his own.

2.) 03 May 2017 09:35:30
Took him a while Alan because he kept going backwards and sideways so couldn't get out of Crosby 😂.

27 Dec 2016 18:00:13
Ed, I've heard we might get yarmlenko any truth in truth. i'd pay £50 mill for forrester and van dyk, 2 class players.

danmc80

1.) 27 Dec 2016 21:07:34
Oh my giddy Aunt are we still going on about this bloke. A disaster in my opinion.

2.) 28 Dec 2016 09:16:28
Lol. I don't think I've ever seen this guys name spelt the same way twice.

If I try to type it, it comes out as Yamaha which makes me a Nick Rhodes or Barry Sheen fan. Sorry, I'm just mumbling now.

31 Aug 2016 22:59:43
Today has been awful seriesly, should od been signed and sealed days ago.

Was at freshfield pub havin me roast, big dunc was there aswell, havin a meal with his family, so i went over after he finished and was getting off, got a photo which he was brill over, asked him what's its like training alongside rk, saud brill and i asked him over any signing, he said min a week as he wants to check out all players, i said what about jesper ( ajax gk) he smirked and said, looks class, wait and see but with a little grin. so looks like it be a while yet.

danmc80

1.) 24 Jul 2016 22:51:18
I love these types of stories. While coach feedback will obviously feed into management on terms of player analysis. There is not a chance that there is a big conference between the manager, scouting teams, all of the coaches, the cleaners and the staff over the road every time a potential player is identified.

2.) 25 Jul 2016 07:10:51
I am sure Big Dunc enjoyed that while out with his family having some personal time.

27 Jun 2016 22:28:31
Were linked with joe hart, i really hope we don't get him, he couldn't catch a cold, over ratered in my eyes id rather go for the southampton keeper, ed, when do u think we will start to sign players.
