Alan Irwin just reported on ssn, that RKs agent had been in touch with them and said "its a bit premature no deal has been agreed". Nothing goes smoothly with us does it? Always a last bit of drama to get the old apron squeaking.

jimmy c

1.) 05 Jun 2016 11:26:32
He said the Dutch journalist who he talked to was premature for announcing deal had been agreed when it hasn't but to be honest I will believe we have koeman only when I see him being unvaild as r manager I know it's pessimistic but everton have got me like this.

02 Jun 2016 18:17:09
Sly sports report just reported Everton have come back in for Koeman, they spoke to a dutch reporter who backed the story up and closed with "it looks promising".

It's like I am having another child. the wait is killing me.

11 May 2016 19:01:20
Rumour is, this is bobby bulls final game in charge he's gone tomorrow. can't see it myself but hope so. It would save him from any potential abuse sunday of which i can't agree with.

jimmy c

1.) 11 May 2016 19:28:34
Hope it is not a rumour from your mate at Finch Farm.

2.) 11 May 2016 19:41:14
Dont know anybody at finch farm, but it was off a mate in canny farm if that will do for you. As i said i can't see it myself.

{Ed025's Note - you mean stockbridge village jimmy.. :)

3.) 11 May 2016 20:25:50
Off the funny farm not finch.

4.) 11 May 2016 20:36:59
Sunderland 2 Everton 0 at half-time. According to Martinez we are going in the right direction NOT.

5.) 11 May 2016 20:46:15
Be our luck, martinez sacked and defensive coach/ set piece organiser jones as caretaker. Need the pair of them out together.

6.) 11 May 2016 20:48:37
72 points (built on Moyes legacy) 47 points, Martinez begins to assert his influence, this season 37 games 44 points so far. Assess me over the last 3 seasons he says. Last 2 seasons lowest points score in 12 years, yet the board still have nothing to say. It beggars belief but can they possibly be considering keeping him on, surely not.

06 Feb 2016 10:00:18
Ed025, Any news on the work permit for Niasse? Newcastle can get there's done the very next day for Doumbia, surely we should of had all this in place and ready to go soon as he signed. Why does everything we do drag on and on?

jimmy c

{Ed025's Note - i have not heard yet jimmy, but martinez has said he is not match fit. sounds like an excuse in case poor administration of our club messes up again mate..

1.) 06 Feb 2016 13:17:48
My thoughts exactly ed I have heard we have upto 15 mins before ko for it to go through but I'm thinking its Saturday today not exactly office hours don't know if that will effect it or not

By the way ed a won last night into the semis I go
That will be as far as I get though the fella I'm playing next is like Phil fkn taylor.

{Ed025's Note - im made up for you liam, well done mate..i think you will win that semi in a david v goliath fashion because a blue never knows when hes beaten..

2.) 06 Feb 2016 13:58:03
Cheers ed that's the spirit mate!
I'll just put me big dunc head on the ref is from my old club so he might let me grab him by the wind pipe till squeals like a pig.

3.) 06 Feb 2016 14:58:45
Good luck in the match Liam, if he's like Phil Taylor he may have a wobble!

4.) 06 Feb 2016 15:00:00
Well done Blueliam. Stay positive for the semi. He's prob saying the same about you!

5.) 06 Feb 2016 15:23:04
Toffee nbtb thanks very much lads.

6.) 06 Feb 2016 19:02:26
good luck la you will win, the visa has all been sorted evertons end they sent all info yesterday morning, why it took them that long is strange, but there just waiting on the go ahead he will defo will be in squad against west brom he will start on the bench Martinez will be bringing him on for 20mins as part of his training program obviously if things change threw the week he could start but won't play for 90 mins.

7.) 06 Feb 2016 19:49:48
Yeah BlueLiam. All the best mate.

8.) 07 Feb 2016 20:41:51
Who disagreed with that. I don't be bothered by them really but whoever disagreed with that must of accidently pressed or is Swan dipping in again.

29 Dec 2015 18:13:48
So now we've agreed to sell Naisy to Norwich for 8 million ffs. couldn't it of been Kone.

jimmy c

1.) 29 Dec 2015 23:06:53
He was included in the deal but Norwich said they didn't want him. Said they would rather have the Tesco vouchers as you get more out of them.

2.) 30 Dec 2015 09:34:19
Love Naisy as a footballer and looks to be an even better bloke off the pitch. Clinical in front of goal but his build up play can be poor at times. Would love to see him stay, but if he wants more regular football, 8mn is good business as he won't get it here.

3.) 30 Dec 2015 13:04:18
as long as it all goes towards a better player, someone who can take us a step nearer.

4.) 30 Dec 2015 14:08:41
At 29 no one can blame Naisey for wanting more game time, I would be asking the manager though what has kone shown over my performances to warrant so many starts?

5.) 30 Dec 2015 15:27:37
8m for Naismith, 12m for Mirallas should b able to buy a top class keeper and left winger for that.

6.) 30 Dec 2015 15:47:11
Naisy got for free sold for 8 million. sounds good to me.
Agbonlahar anyone?

7.) 30 Dec 2015 16:45:43
Not a bad shout that Alan.

8.) 30 Dec 2015 19:11:29
Probably Naisy did ask Martinez why it wasn't Kone going and what he had done above him. Same with Mirallas being out of favour. Very good coach but I would like to know just what percentage of Evertons now agree with me (us) on his Management credentials. Notice he has now started coming up with the excuses as well as 'excited', 'phenomenal' etc! Anyone with any doubts look back over the premiership league tables the last 6 years 3 with Wigan and 3 with us.

9.) 31 Dec 2015 03:24:28
He has to go full stop. If it wasn't for kul and del and one or two others we would be like villa. Mark my words next Christmas we will b bottom of league with joker in charge.

10.) 31 Dec 2015 05:59:56
I can't tell whether it was a joke or not but has someone just suggested we buy gabi agbonlahor? He is one of the biggest waste of space footballers I have seen. Always relied on his pace because he has very little actual footballing talent. If we do raise money from player sales I would rather see us burn it in the middle of town to keep the homeless warm than spend it on him.

{Ed025's Note - im with you 100% cropper, they will be linking us to carlton palmer next..

11.) 31 Dec 2015 10:03:59
I seen that yesterday but have only managed to reply today because after calming down from pi**ing myself laughing I had to lay down in a darkened room for hours. Agbonalahor ffs. The enigma of an enigma has a turn of pace and. anyway I wonder what Brett Angel is up to these days?

12.) 31 Dec 2015 10:20:59
Is Paul Mc Grath still at villa? Now he was a class act proper centre back 😜.

13.) 31 Dec 2015 17:35:56
i agree agbonlihoer I no that's not how you spell it. wow he has got to be the biggest waste of space ever to grace the prem, let's see he has got pace and he has got erm erm no no wait there give us a minute, actually can you give us a week erm no sorry youve got me there answers on a postage stamp please, that has to be the most laughable suggestion I have ever heard.

Well and truly beaten by a far superior team last night. I can accept that, but what i can"t accept is the way we rolled over and died in the way we did, we made it easy for Chelsea starting with the formation, the lack of fighting spirit, no pride in your own performance, we lack a true leader on the field a shouter someone who leads by example whos standards won't dip even if we are getting a hiding, somebody in the mould of Roy Keane. Far to many players went missing last night, and far to many past it and just not good enough for a team with high ambitions.

jimmy c

1.) 06 Nov 2016 14:05:50
Most have said and I agree that Koeman will get it right, I would add to that however, that even after 11 games we cannot allow the gap between 6 and those above us to get to great. Keep the gap down and come January no doubt the DoF, Manager and assistants have already identified and made tentative inquiries for players that will come in and allow us to push on.

03 Jun 2016 20:42:16
Ed025, a few of the lads on here don't seem to want Koeman as our next manager, would you be happy with his appointment? Some are even trying to compare his record against the record of he who shall not be named, come on look, Koeman has been in the prem league for 2 years not 11yrs and all at the same club, and in them 2 years he had the arse ripped out of his squad built again and still finished above us twice in the last 2 seasons, yes twice with the best squad we have had since the 80s apparently at our disposal. That says something imo. I think people should try and see the whole picture and what it is we are trying to do, and the route Moshiri is hopefully about to take us on.

jimmy c

{Ed025's Note - i will be very happy if we net koeman jimmy, i think he plays the game in the right way and his signing have been very good, im very impressed with moshiri as well and think he is starting to deliver what this club needs, interesting times ahead me thinks mate..

07 May 2016 20:36:02
I heard on radio Merseyside before, that we have already sold 25,000 season tickets already for next season. Is someone taking the piss or what? As I've previously stated i will not be renewing mine while this pathetic excuse for a manager is still at the helm. I am totally raging inside right now . This clown has sucked the life outta me and is slowly sucking the life out of Everton fc. This can not be allowed to continue. Bill grow a pair will you, which you should of done months ago and rid the club of this disease that's been allowed to fester and eat away and make a mockery out of our once proud club. MARTINEZ OUT!

jimmy c

1.) 07 May 2016 20:42:20
Jimmy iv renewed mine simply because iv sat there so long and know everyone around me, I simply don't want to give up my seat. It's in no way supporting any board or manager.

2.) 07 May 2016 20:44:00
Have a lie down Jimmy :)
But I get your dift, ditto.

3.) 07 May 2016 20:56:49
I agree bestyne and cost another 100 quid after this date.

4.) 07 May 2016 21:03:02
No the club says season ticket sales are approaching 25,000 which means nothing. Could be 12 could be 24,999 who knows.

5.) 07 May 2016 21:11:06
Moneys not the problem bretto, its him.100 notes is neither here or there really.

07 Apr 2016 21:02:00
Just read Dave Prentice, s column on line for the red echo tomorrow, tell you what I urge everyone to get on it.

jimmy c

1.) 07 Apr 2016 21:18:52
Let's see if other reporters actively and aggressively pursue this topic at future media/ press conferences.
RM is being increasingly criticised by television/ radio pundits and in the press, but not during face-to-face interviews.
It's time for those reporters - local and national - to grow a pair, be relentless in challenging RM, ask tough questions, demand honest and unequivocal answers, and not worry about the club reacting pathetically by banning reporters. Trouble is, the club/ media relationship is far too cosy - and RM, BK, the "people's club", etc., are so nice that no one want to upset them.

2.) 07 Apr 2016 21:31:15
RM will not sack himself? its up to Bill to have the balls and sack him now, a lot of you think wait till the cup is over? we would need a lot of luck to win it.

3.) 07 Apr 2016 22:19:30
Isnt up to Bill anymore, is it?

4.) 07 Apr 2016 22:32:22
. as I said yesterday folks. Baines has thrown a grenade not just on the floor the Efc shareholders but also in the dressing room by his comments and well done to him for his brutal honesty. the article in the Echo tonight is brilliantly written by David Prentice and so true and is a real turning point in the media coverage of the clueless ones management style. I suggest all the fans sing Leighton Baines name out loud non stop every game til the end of the season starting this weekend at Watford showing very clearly to the board what us fans think and who we back on his one., but be sure of this fact, Baines words have started what is the beginning of the end of the road for our current manager!

5.) 07 Apr 2016 23:11:50
We have an outstanding chance of wining the FA cup, giving the quality of the sides left in the competision, why do we have to wait for this plonker to throw it away, before we sack the bum.

6.) 07 Apr 2016 23:14:27
Just read Echo and most of the posts, surely the clueless one is finished, at last public condemnation of the fraud. At the next home game we must give full voice with banners as well let the directors and BBC and SLY really know our feelings.
We have suffered for to long and Martinez should have gone a long time ago in my book.
Come on blues let's tell Kenright and Moshiri how we truelly feel.

7.) 08 Apr 2016 01:29:31
Wise words mate no doubt we will be called non supporters by some but the stats don't lie. Sack now sack now and bring back some stability to our great club.

03 Apr 2016 13:30:49
How hypocritical can you be? They hold up banners, hold rallies and go on marches about how greedy clubs are and enough is enough ticket prices are way to high for the average fan. So what do our red cousins do? only charge us £50 to 52 notes for a ticket for the derby,3 days before the semi final. I've paid £50 for my wembley ticket but were talking wembley here not anfield are they taking the piss or what? jesus, it beggars belief.

Training is very hard steviegee? I think looking at the team in the last 20 mins of games last season they always looked like they were blowing out there arses to some players even looking way overweight. So a bit of hard training is exactly what they need imo.

Lads me personally i would break the bank to bring Mourinho in to our club. We should at least try, show a bit of intent make it known approach his rep approach Mourinho himself let's have a try, its a no brainer for me. If he, s not interested that's fine we move on. As I've previously said the man is a WINNER wherever he, s been yes he rubs people up the wrong way and shows a lack of class at times but can you imagine the fireworks between him and Klopp? Besides all that employing him would really improve the profile and marketing. of the club world wide.

Have to say I agree with you EdO25.And can't argue with anyone saying he steadied the ship while he was here either. What I won't agree with is people ever even contemplating having him back. Do we really want to go back to taking knives to gunfights? And after the way he conducted himself before and after he left the club, the contract farce and his pathetic attempts trying to lure Baines and Felli, I never want to see him anywhere near our club again. I want a winner, a manager that has won trophies and who still has the nous on how to win trophies. Like you said Ed, like me you are not a Mourinho fan (the man himself) But I will tell you this as a manager he's a winner with a capital W, who wins trophies everywhere he goes, and has managed the top teams in the world with the top players in the world and I for one wouldn't turn my nose up at him ever wanting to manage our great club.

jimmy c

{Ed025's Note - i just cant see how some would welcome moyes back jimmy??, and mourinho is a very good manager but his personality makes me baulk at times but if he were given the job i could learn to live with it mate..when people ask whether i would like martinez or moyes my answer would be....it doesn,t matter whether you are shot or stabbed to death does it?..

I think it"s the latter Windsorblue, that"s his perogative. if he goes he goes, would rather him stay like but that's football for you. Hopefully we get top dollar for him and then hope Walsh unearths a gem from somewhere.

could of won it if Lookman had stuck even one of his chances away. But that's football. Overall the point picked up against a boro team who don't score many and are pretty solid at the back at home is a decent point and keeps the unbeaten run going. long may it continue.

Worst, Owen, Lawrenson, and a 4 way tie for third between Thompson, Macmannaman, Merson and Jenas.
Best, seeing as you never said current, i would have to say the legendary Brian Moore, Carragher and Neville.

Liverpool, for exactly same reason as Ed025 stated, Palace, or any team managed by that plastic botox faced Pardew. Anyone remember his bigger club quote while with Newcastle? And sunderland nothing at all against them, just the manager for the way he acted not signing a contract in knowing he was going to united at the xmas time leaving us with jack in compo when he did leave. And also for the way he acted in the Baines and Felli transfer situation. Finally Spurs, just because i hate Spurs and always have.
