My fear is that leeds will come out fighting a very wounded side. They were doing quite well against united and could have stole it. the players are hungry and able compared to bloated and idle.
Untill we rid our club of this mish mash of over rated players we are finnished.
Sorry for stating the obvious but as i say i am not very confident in this weekends game. HOPE i am wrong.

Qe need to beat them to the punch, play like we did against Arsenal, but some how with 2 up front, I think Maupay would of been more use linking midfield and Simms, than on his own. I can understand SD's thinking go same as Arsenal and hope Simms could replicate DCL.
Really down last night as thought they were there for taking but how many times do we fall in to their trap and they come out as the world beaters again, if Tarks' header had gone in they would of been chasing us and pressure on to them but Chester la vie. (That's the sum of my French class)

If it’s any consolation, the run in this year seems a little easier than last year so I’m hoping we can get enough to fight another year and sort our wage bill out. We’ve quite a few contracts ending this summer of players on extortionate amounts.

99% of this squad needs moved on ASAP, too slow too old too talentless too afraid too one dimensional on too much money and been stealing a living for far too long.

We do have some sensationalist fans.
It’s not fantasy football.
We’ll hopefully move a few on in the summer and make some additions.
However very much doubt the turnover of players still in contract will be massive unless we are relegated.

I would be off loading DCL if possible and replace with a real all round striker who scares defenders, may be a big ask i know, but by all means try and keep ag, he is our only true asset at the moment and will blossom and grow in value. We should be aiming to build our team on players of AJ's calibre not selling them. We have already donated our pound of flesh to apease fair play rules, let's try and keep what little flesh we have left,

Can i ask who would do a better job, we have had all the so called top brass and nothing has changed, maybe, just maybe?
We should consider the fact that the dross we have are just that.
Then consider who brought them in? .
Then why do we persist with our current format?
My opinion, best manager in the world would be lost with this team, struture, set up.
Whatever you want to call it.
Get rid of the rotten culture and advance, or stick with the old fashioned jobs for boys way and bob up and down.

That is the million dollar question Niko and one that very few of us would have the answer to.
I think the issue that everyone has with Rafa is his insistence on playing players that simply aren’t turning up and persisting with tactics that clearly aren’t working. The fact he just won’t change things, when it’s so clear for everyone to see what’s needs to be done, has turned a hell of a lot of supporters today, me being one of them, against him.
It’s hard to see where we go from here and what the answers are, but I certainly now do not feel Rafa Benitez is the man for the mammoth job at Everton. It just isn’t happening for him and he has, today, lost the fans I think.

Pitty we didn't put our kids out, who do ok against them normally, that way we wouldn't have a double humilliation when we get beat, toal clear out needed, comes to something when our oldest players are our best? can only think of 5 players worth keeping.

Lets have a clear out from the roots, ie certain elements of the coaching staff who have been here since the rot started, not this or last season, but look at the patern, the last half of martinez rule, that's when it started to creep in, somethings not right, half decent players turning crap overnight no matter what manager is appointed? as i have said, sort the coaching side out, not all the coaches but the rotten apple.
Then we willl see improvements, only my oppinion,
But all these managers can't be at fault all the time.

Well i read last year that we took advice from the FA regarding all our dealings.
So if any wrong doings were conducted, we should sue the FA.

Smith, I think we need one for now not the future, Agree we do need to build but now is the priority to ensure we have a future. Then we can enjoy the luxury of building the future. My opinion only.
From what i have been hearing maybe he will not have to wate that long for his future to begin.
