Just a quick question, can anyone else remember a player who earned a song as quick as Mirallas did? He must have got the song 'super Kev' after about 1 or 2 games. What an impact the lad's made, for as long as I live, I will always remember the way he just single handedly tore the Liverpool back four to pieces. I can't wait until he can sort his injury out and we have him tear-arsing down that right side again. He is a force to be reckoned with and I don't envy the players that will have to mark him. It was clear to see he was a vital part of our team after about 4 games, imagine the significance he will have after a whole season of playing!

Another absolute class bit of business by Moyes. I'm eagerly awaiting Super Kev's return as i'm sure every other Evertonian is.

Rodwell was 12m rising to 16m

Hope the rise from £12M to £16M for Rodwell's fee doesn't depend on appearances... especially if there's a time limit.

Let's just be happy with the £12m. Coz Rodwell is their new michael Johnson. from what I have read, they are very concerned about his injury. To the extent he may be finished at this level.

What has Robert Earl ever done for this club? I ain't sayin he ain't done anything, I just wanna know what. Coz as far as I'm concerned, we got some rich bloke on our board who could put his hand in his pocket and yet he seems to do feek all. I am willing to eat my words if he is some club saint, but if he ain't I see no point in him being here... As for that other bloke, the Sir whatever, what the hell does he do either? If ever there was a time for a poxy £10m investment it's now (that's small change to these blokes), when we could make the champs league. Earl was brought in by kenwright to gt rid of gregg, not for the good of Everton, but for the good of bill kenwright . It's criminal the way the board has hid behind moyes n takin credit for his great work, .we have a chance again to push on anyone can c that but again let down by people who don't care n people who are clearly out if there depth {Ed025's Note - thats a bit harsh mate...i know hes not the perfect chairman, but he is far from the worst..he has done his best, and when we needed dosh, he has stepped up to the plate, money for felli, jelly and mirallas, comes to mind, as well as inflated wages..its time we cut the guy some slack...we are in a great position at the moment, and all i seem to hear is moan moan moan!!!...we need to get a grip guys, get behind the players and the club, and start acting like evertonians..

I am a proper evertonion, an the facts r there even now when we r doin well, me like many others feel proud of r team but have a feeling of been let down by a totally inept board what's kenwright done gave moyes total control lets be honest only a fool wouldn't, just for once back him n r transfer policy is to sell before we can buy n usually on the last day of the transfer market, with remarks like we will invest the arteta money in jan, lies . But bills a blue can you name one decision apart from moyes that's been successful .this is when the board should back moyes

Bills made these decisions of havin green, earl around the club so if he's got his hands tied its his fault .

I was original poster. I am proud of BK and love him being our chairman. If we ever sold, i would hope he would stay as our chairman. He aint premier league rich. He is first to admit that. He has coin compared to you and me, but he ain't a big fish. Earl owns 23% of the club and is a big fish. John woods who owns 19% and I believe has bailed us out in the past. Then theres Sir Philip Carter who owns 2%. It's the last lot I have beef with. At least BK shows his face and puts himself out there. The others I have never seen make any kind of effort to speak to the fans. Sir P Carter I can let off coz he's 85 and obv only has a tiny stake. But Earl should make himself known or F*** off as far as I'm concerned.

Not a proper blue if your proud of bill kenwright, never forgive or trust him over his involvement with Philip green n robert earl there r grave under hand dealings that have really hurt Everton {Ed025's Note - conspiracy theorists really make me laugh..

U need to ask yourself questions about kenwright reign and why for instance kings dock fell thru, if you don't seriously know try and find out its easy to find out why it's embarrassing and why earl bought gregg out .he hasn't cum in to to hav an active hands role has he, kenwright will be laid bare when moyes goes

I have answered this question before, about a year ago. I actually personally know Robert Earl and his family. He has two daughters Beth and Cara that i grew up with and a younger son Robbie.

Anyway loyalties aside, Rob Earl was only brought on to the board as a favour to Kenwright. He went in knowing he would get nothing, he takes nothing from the club, and paid over market value for his stake, this was done to bail Everton out a little bit and allow us to make loan repayments we couldnt make at the time. Robert Earl is a life long Spurs fan but doesnt love football, he is not passionate about it so why throw his hard earned money at it. He was not born in to money i can promise you that, and he earned it in the hospitality business which is not easy work. Anyway i know for a fact he would sell his stake for anything near what he paid, however he knows its not going to happen and has essentially written off his "investment" as a loan which will never be fully repaid.
So lets get some facts straight before we start spouting rubbish about things we don't actually know.

Of course he wants a profit, he is just not expecting to see a profit on his investment. A fast buck? How is investing in a company that is lossing about 5million a year a fast buck? Why do we expect someone who has no real interest in the club (dont see him setting up a Planet Hollywood in Liverpool do you?) commercial or as a fan to just go, here you go here is some money buy a player?
You can call me stupid all you want but the fact his he paid way over the market value for his stake in the club, why?
Personally i think if we can get to a point where we break even as a club then i think we have a very good model of how to run a football club. Players are just players, the club is the most important thing and will be here hopefully long after any of the men playing for us now. So i don't see why you would expect guys who are not fans like you and me to simply dip in to their pockets to buy players that they will at this stage never see a return on, CL or no CL.
If you want a different model then the club needs to be sold to a oil baron or something, then we can do a City. Personally i see nothing wrong with buying a player for x amount, getting the best out of them selling for a profit and reinvesting that profit. What do you want from the board? Just to throw money at things so on paper rather than lossing 5 mill a year this year we will have lost 30 mill, increasing debts and therefore the value of the club if you are looking for a takeover. Do you really just expect this board memebers to offer a random, no strings attached cash injection?

I expect the board to realise at a certain time like now they need to back the manager !i under stand about balancing the books, they've giv him nothing and for a club like Everton it's not good enough, .n when Robert earl came in kenwright promised he'd bring his off field expertise to help and promote the club were is it, and as for buying into a a club working at aloss, he bought at a time when the premier was becoming global .the point about are commercial side does it stand up against spurs arsenal Newcastle it's sub standard for a club of Everton size .the only good thing about Everton is its fans and team and manager the back up is zilch .r we stronger now then we were ten years ago off the field no .we have a chance now to push on like we hav a number of times under moyes, .its not good enough

I'm not saying Fellaini is leaving, but if he does, hopefully he goes this week so we have time to get players in, not like when arteta left and we had to wait until the next transfer window to get players in... I'm sure Moyes will have targets if the inevitable happens. Let's hope he doesn't go.................

You know what, I've had enough of the negativity on this site and I will not be coming back on it until after the window closes. Every other post is Fellaini this and Fellaini that with a bit of Baines chucked in. Some posts are like "Vegard Forren is coming in this mean that Fellaini is definitely leaving." NO IT DOESN'T!! And also there are people like "There is £22m buyout clause" and "Fellaini WILL leave". You don't know this there's nothing concrete. WHY WHY WHY do you continue you post such RIDICULOUS and NEGATIVE posts, WHY WHY WHY? Do you want our best players to leave? Some of the posts make it genuinely seem like some of our "fans" want Fellaini and Baines to leave, is like that even though we're in the best position we have been in during January for years, people are still so negative, it's like these "fans" want us to get relegated or something {Ed025's Note - i hear what you say mate...but this is a rumour site!, and like it or not, felli going is a rumour...i personally dont think he will go, but if i dont llke a rumour, i just dismiss it, and i suggest you do the same..some of these rumours are posted by mischevious supporters of other teams, who are trying to wind our supporters up, and with you it seems to be working, we have to be bigger than that mate, and take it with a pinch of salt, take the site for what it is, a rumour and banter site, its supposed to be fun and interactive...chill out my friend..

Got to respect fellaini, has the ability to play for and interest from top European clubs, but he is not pushing through a move like so many players before him, e.g. Lescott. However, £30 million to reinvest in the squad wouldn't be too bad, especially with an ageing back 5. Don't get me wrong, love having a world class player in the blues starting 11

I expect moysey will only be given half the money we receive for Felliani with the other half going to the bank

If Felliani goes its not a disaster .he doesn't bring the best out of Baines or pienaar Osman or even jelovic, sure he can make an impact, he's not the man who makes us tick n for 25 30 mill could be replaced with 2 players another midfielder in the mold ov pienaar n a another fast striker .weil be ok

If you don't think Felli brings out the best in the team have you not seen how many knock downs, chests, lay-offs he makes in the middle (when dropping deep) or up-front either on his own or for players running on. Every opposing player states what a nightmare it is to play against him bacause they can't get the ball off him, This is why he's valued so highly!!Come down off cloud cukoo land and get real, we will miss him, maybe not for ever but if he does go in january Champions League will be a stretch too far, me thinks.

For 25 to 30 mill he's replaceable, I'm not sayin he's a bad player he's a great player, but we could progress without him for me the Baines pienaars combo is just as productive n, for me jelovic n Felliani isn't a perfect fit I'm playin devils advocate because Felliani prob won't b with us next year n if you think champions league football will keep him here your in cuckoo land 120 grand a week with Chelsea .man you or 75 at Everton were do you think, this clause has been brought into the public domain by the Felliani camp no one else

About jonny heitinga, his form has not been up to the standards he set himself last year. I do however think he can rediscover this form with a good run in the side, he seems to be the type of player who takes a few games to get in his stride. I think that at the moment he hasn't done enough to warrant a place and the other 2 are top defenders who are playing well.

This brings me to my second point which is a poster the other day said 'if distin didn't mess up in the semi final then he would of been player of the year'. Now I love distin, I think he is class but you can't go that far, Jonny was immense the back end of last season in the league and on the cup run, he was a typical everton / moyes type player. He marked Suarez out the game in the 1st half ( still confused as to why they changed and distin marked him in the second half) of the semi final and had the rat wound up.

having said all this can we as a football club afford to have one of our highest earners sit on the bench every week?. But incase he does go this month he has served us well and we will never forget that shoulder barge.

About 8 or 9/10 posts on this site are about Fellaini, ed can you post less of them because it's becoming boring & repetitive and it's putting me off the site really. The sheer volume of negative posts on this site is getting annoying now, it's almost like everyone wants Fellaini and Baines to go {Ed0 25's Note - i get your point mate..but everyone is allowed to express their views, but i will cut down on the volume as it is getting a bit tedious..

Cheers ed, I knew you wouldn't stoP them completely, cutting them back will do just fine though

The felli rumours have been around for 2 years and he still remains a blue on a long contract, can't see him going anywhere for a while

All the rumours of Chelsea getting fellani by useing his buy out clause have got to be utter rubbish as his clause is only ment to be active if the team has champions league football and as Chelsea don't then that surely makes the clause nil invoid so if they want him they best cough up big dollar coy
