Is it true or false has Bony got an 19m release clause, anyone know for sure?

They value him at £19m it's not a buy out clause.

Regardless of the point, I don't think there is any concrete evidence we're even interested in him other than half this board wanting us to sign him. Martinez may not even rate/like him

Bookies has us as favourites, so there is probably concrete evidence of interest.

Rumours surrounding us and Christian Tello for £8m or a loan with an option to buy. Personally I think he would be a great buy as he can play on the wing or up front which could fill to necessary gaps with one player.

Please guys and gals stop panicking regarding transfers in, most of the prem teams have still not spent a penny and Bobby has already stated that he will probably not do any business until after the WC, pretty sure Barry will be coming as he settled in well and doesn't want to travel below Brum, he is also too good and youg for USA.

It could be worse, we could be signing Joe Cole, Villa fans are buzzing at this prospect, seriously have a read on their site, he wouldn't even get in our reserves now, another example of a fine talent putting money first and ending up wasted but rich, he could have been special with the right manager.

just on another waste of possible talent, David too big for England under 21s Beckham sorry meant Bentley, "I have fell out of love for the game and will now concentrate on my restaurant and not play anymore", in other words no one wants to pay him 50k a week because he is crap

Spot on Murph,
It's not as if clubs are signing up our targets, even if we knew what our targets are.

It's my opinion that as soon as either Lukaku, Bony or Remy find a new club. Then the whole window will hotten up. One signing will set off a landslide of activity ad I think these are the 3 strikers that are on most clubs lists.

Plenty of time yet

But I thought one our targets was Jack Colback who was available on a free from Sunderland. Whilst I appreciate he is a Geordie I nonetheless feel he would have been a good acquisition in midfield for next season. Were we ever truly interested in him? Or was the lure of playing for the club he'd supported as a kid too much of chance to ignore?

Lukaku & barry both played well last season and i'm very greatful, but enough is enough, either they want to play for us or they don't, and if they don't that's fine, but for f. sake it's about time we had a clear answer, we can move on, and so can they, and i'm begining to feel we could do a whole lot better.

Me too JCW - the good thing is that Martinez is very well connected and respected and can find players to play for him who can see the opportunity to thrive at everton

It's also a happy club - with happy players - if players like Barry want to spend their last couple of years playing in some stressed out club with knobhead players in cliques abusing each other when things go bad, then let them
I think he'll stay - probably his agent playing hardball - agent needs to watch out he doesn't play too hard and ends up with an angry / disappointed player
