Dear Evertontians

Joey Barton. I think we missed out not signing this guy. He is a massive blue, after seeing his latest BBC interview only underlines his undying love for the club. I think if the fans had only given him a chance.

I understand that his previous behaviour has been poor, and i accept that anyone affected by his malpractice will be rightly unsympathetic, however, his all time favourite player is joe parkinson for heavens sake.

He would have played for Everton until the blisters on his heels were septic, and the joints in his legs arthritic. I don't think there is any smugness or deceit in his candid, and insightful noggin. He may come across as the prodigal and remorseful son of humble beginnings - and i think he is.

He hasn't got long in the tank, but i think he could be a positive influence on the younger lads if DM had his way with him.

Any thoughts chaps and ladies?

Probably shouldve had barton and sold the new pienaar fellaini

but would other players like green and barkley want to share a dressing room with barton?

"Malpractice"?? That is putting it very, very lightly. If he was so desperate to play for us he would have dropped his wage demands so we could afford him!

Agree1 Disagree0

Have to agree with last post ! If he was this "evertonian" he would of dropped his wage demands ! We apparently offered him 50 grand and he wanted a match of 70 grand which he was on at newcastle !

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh i also agree he would of accepted less wages to play for a club he loves! Obvisouly 50 grand a week wouldnt of been enough to live on!

We always give chelsea a good run out. Saha is always fiery against them. Can't wait. 1-1 draw i think and then 3 points against fulham

No action taken against atkinson! He is refing a prem game on saturday! Disgusting! He should of been demoted for the same amount of games that rodders would of missed!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

He will probably just be banned from reffing our matches.

What kind of player is Green - and would he fit into a midfield with Rodwell and Barkley?

If so - imagine that trio of England superstars in 5 years time if Kenwright can do the business money wise and these boys don't just turn their backs on the club that have helped make them.

'Proper football' might just have a chance instead of it just being a souless business game.

If we can grab the best 16-17 year old striker coming through then we'd be in business - anyone know any names?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dan heath from notts county 24 goals in 27 games only 16

Green is 15 years old, he has a long way to go before he's in the first team. He plays in midfield at the moment but he's just too young to start trying to slot him into a premier league midfield.

Velios looks like he will have all the tools and a good eye for goal. I have been impressed from what i have seen from him so far. I see him being a regular starter very soon.
