My team for Sat would be Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jag, Barry, McCarthy, Besic, Kone, Barkley, Lennon, Lukaku. 4-2-3-1. At half time or even before 3 subs would be Mirallas, Del boy and Naismith bar injuries. Look to take off Lennon, Kone, Barry or Besic depending on how they or the game is going.

Reason I wouldn't start Oviedo is because I don't think its worth the risk of giving him the chance to get injured again. Would love to see him get properly fit and get a good run of games before Baines comes back. Barry should be solid enough for left back. Lennon may not be match fit but I think Mirallas would be more effective off the bench on Sat. When started he can be quite in games. Put him and Del boy on to run at them and supply Lukaku.

God, if I could pick a game to win all season it would be this one. Would would be absolutely fantastic if John Stones scored. I'd cry with laughter 😃

Rather have Galloway at Left Back then Barry for me as Barry is too slow to cope with Pedro/Willian. I'd go for.

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Galloway
McCarthy Besic
Lennon Mirallas Deulofeu
Lukaku

Let Deulofeu run at Ivanovic who has been targeted by every team this season as he lacks pace and is getting destroyed by every winger.

Hazard would rip Barry to bits. So four defensive midfielders and one winger for two strikers. Need to give Terry the runaround and hit their backs with Lennon and Kevin.

Agree with swan, ivanovic is the weak link amd we need to target him with pace

Agree with all but one in Swans line up. Think we should throw Mori in at left back, I'd rather we held Galloway back a week and get him back to full fitness, we can't afford to carry anybody against Hazard et al. Agree with the attack, let KM and good switch about to isolate Ivanovic even more. Crucial we get up and at them from the first minute. I believe Courtois is out for a couple of months too, could be a good time to take points from them. fingers crossed anyway

Agree with Swan/Smeg. unsure whether I prefer besic/barkley in the CDM with McCarthy. I love them both. Probs barkley on early season form. I don't think Delboy is as effective on the left as the right currently. but I do agree Ivanovic is the weak link.

If we played that front 4 we'd tear teams apart in my opinion. However we all know the likely hood is that only 1 of Lennon, Mirallas and Delboy will start with Kone on the other wing and Barkley as no 10 with Barry/McCarthy the midfield axel.

I remember in our top 4 chasing season. it all went wrong against Crystal Palace when we lost 3-2. That game I think we started with all our attacking players (barkley, Kev, Delboy, Lukaku) and I was so excited. but obviously it went sour - I just wonder if that puts RM off, as I haven't seen it since.

Left back is a problem for me with both Oviedo and Galloway not 100% and with Delboy in front of the LB I would probably start Barry at LB as although he is not the greatest I think is understanding of his team mates give him an advantage over Mori. On the positive side I can see this game being a tight one not like last seasons and they don't have Lampard who pops up to score against us in the majority of the thight games he played. 1-0 Everton Lukaku 86th minute. That's my thoughts sa90. I think Barry can do a job at left back just for this game. I picked my best 11 here bout a week ago and didn't have Kone or Barry on it. I think seeing that its Chelsea Barrys experience will be an advantage at left back and I wouldn't encourage him to go forward much.

I also think not starting Del boy and Mirallas allows them to be more effective when introduced as subs. Get them to significantly increase the pace of the game when introduced and hopefully stun Chelsea.

Interesting not many people picking Barkley. Yet he's starting for England. I think he's having a good season so far. He got to play right from the start this which will help him. He was unfortunate last year getting injured just before season started. I believe it made it harder for him last season. This season imo he'll grow better as season goes on.

That's my opinions anyway. Everyone's will be different. I'd take a draw or a win. Don't mind as long as we don't lose.

If Barry plays left back he will get sent off. To slow for that position needs people behind him for when he gets left behind, which he will.

Daily Mail "John stones wants new contract with a £38million buy out clause in it. Wont sign it unless his terms are met" Ermmm he has a 4 year deal left with no clause in. why print such a b******* report haha we don't need to give him a new contract with his terms hahaha he has a 4 year deal left. why would we pay him more money and include a buy out clause so he can double his wage for a few months then move to Chelsea for the so called £38million. Love the media when they talk about us

That did cross my mind this morning too, do the daily fail not know how business works, in negotiations the two parties reach an agreement where both benefit. There is clearly no benefit to Everton there.

Only way I can see Everton giving him more money with a buy out clause included is if it's for an astronomical figure like 50 million+ so we really would benefit if it's activated. Anyways hoping to smash chelsea in our next game coyb!.

50M buy out clause or no deal. The only way we can keep him however, is if we finish in the top five and he has an incentive to stay, so let's start with a thrashing of chelski and show them who is a small club.

Fore years on his present deal, so a new deal, from the clubs point of view, must inc, an extention, plus a release provision, well in excess of the sum already offered and rejected. So to claim he will only sign a deal with a 38m release, is plain crazy.I know our board and CEO, are the most incompetant in the land, but they are not totally mad.

We don't need to make a deal yet he is under contract till 2019. So give him more cash 😂 but we don't need to put buyout clause in. Do it in 2 years. Then he will have played more and be worth more if not we keep.
