Well. if Bobbys still in charge this weekend I just hope that the club have got enough Bobbys in uniform surrounding the pitch as I fear there could be scenes from Pearl Harbour minus the battleships of course. in the words of Jamie Carragher live on Sky Sports tonight - "Martinez needs to be sacked tomorrow". swallow your pride Blue Bill - just admit you were incorrect in hiring the clueless 1 and get rid and move on and recruit a new world class manager to appease us paying fans. the fans are never wrong and the fraud "must be sacked tomorrow"!

Pelligrini, FDB and Mourinho are my choice lads. I'd be happy with any of those 3 over RM. Not too pleased with some of the names being put out there. Who would everyone else be happy with? Seasons done lads, we're still in the league and Martinez must be gone, a new manager and next season will surely be an improvement. Onwards and upwards lads.

koeman, de boer, not pellegrini, wasted too much money on poor players at city, mourinho not too sure about him.

Okay so we're going to see if Mr. Moshiri is our saviour now because the rest of the Dead Wood have sat back and watched this clubs progress towards the Champions League been totally dismantled since Moyes left.

I'd be terrified if I was him, bought millions of pounds of shares in what appears to be a total shambles of a club.

Old stadium

A team that looks as though we will be relegated next season.

Clueless Manager, Coaching staff.

A Board that really couldn't give a monkey's chuff.

Disfunctional playing staff.

Moral at Club rock bottom.

Supporters just 'Gob Smacked' at how bad this club has become in three short years.

Good Luck Mosh!

Fans on here keep saying we don't want this or that manager because he hasn't proved himself and we would be taking a big gamble on them. But let's face it with the state this team is in any established big name would be taking just as big a gamble on us. That's not to say we shouldn't be aiming high just that we need to keep things in perspective as our form over the past month makes us look like another Newcastle.

Hi all, major changes needed at EFC most urgently Martinez, don't want Pelligrini another manager who can not defend. Got to be R Koeman or F De Boer. 1 Robles over all just not good enough could stay as 2nd choice or move on. Hibbert is finished a coaching job at EFC. 3. Baines injuries have put paid to him becoming back to his best should look for fresh start else where somewhere local like Burnley 4m 4. Gibson to injury prone a pity has ability but must move on no fee out of contract 5. Stones we can't afford luxury defenders let him go as he want too. 45m. 6. Jags days are running out. Maybe 1 season as a squad player. 7. McAidey must go elsewhere 2.5m 8. Oviedo should look for a fresh start some interest from Spain 2.5m. 9. Kone has to go maybe 1m. 10. Lukaku is going to move 60m 11. MIrallas would like to keep him but he is just not a team player so 10m. 12. Lennon should be kept. 14. Niasse looks lost on a football pitch get him fit and send him on loan for a season at a top Championship side. I know he cost 13.5m but after season in the championship we will know if he is good enough. 15. Cleverly keep as a squad player must improve to stay longer. 16. McCarthy not gauranteed to start. 17. Besic get fit keep at squad player. 18. Barry time to call it a day at Everton maybe go to Villa as player coach or something. 19. Deulofeu keep but must wok harder. 20. Barkley keep a good manager will get the best out of him and teach him to make the right decisions. 21. Ossie time to move on no fee maybe coach with Hibbs. 22. Pienaar time to go home no fee . 23. Coleman fit and on form best right back in the league. 24. Howard more or less gone no fee. 25. Funes-Mori not a certain starter next season. A lot of youth to come in Browning, Galloway, Holgate, Dyson, Pennington, Garbutt, Williams, Ledson, Davis, Dowell, Tarashaj, and Grant. Will need to sign 7/ 8 players would love to raid Southampton ilke the red Shxte did, Forester Bertrand Mane and Long. Add to them Bolasie, Dragovich, Whitzel and Bony. After the season we just had it wii be very hard to get any of them, more like impossible. Said it would be major.

11 May 2016 22:13:40
Whatever you might think about managers like Allardyce, Pulis, Hughes, etc., they know how to get results and next season they - and all other PL managers - will have massive funds to strengthen their teams.
The "top" teams will also spend big and try to re-establish their supremacy.
Other clubs will think they can emulate Leicester City.
As it stands, our PL place will be under serious threat unless there is a massive improvement - and that surely means a new manager.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

11 May 2016 22:25:43
The warning signs for next season are already in place Sid, unless the board act quick. They only need to look at Aston Villa and Newcastle.
On sky tonight Jamie Carragher states RM must go tomorrow, Nial Quinn says before the weekend, quoting Everton are not a quick sacking club but must act. Surely not everybody is wrong in their judgement.
Absolutely disgraceful performance tonight. An embarrassment for the club and fans. Not one player put a full shift in and if it means a full clear out then so be it no matter who they are. In fact that might be the answer with a new manager.
The board are not acting in the best interest of Everton FC, but in the best interest of their investment.

In the words of Meatloaf Sid 'You took the words right out of my mouth'.

Really admire that type of manager. A modern and winner in a similar type style is Simeone. Absolute class. I know were not going to get him but someone similar would do me.

Agree2 Disagree0

11 May 2016 22:31:42
Totally agree CPS for 18 months now he has been unable to turn our results around. I would take Hughes or Allatdyce over RM right now. Don't think SA gets the credit he deserves got Bolton up kept them up and bought Jayjay Okatcha (spelling) and a few others and played some good stuff.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 May 2016 22:37:25
Full clear-out and we won't get good value. We'd be ripped off. New manager and see how the squad performs with a few additions. If its still bad then have a big clear-out. Think a new manager would be enough of a change and whole squad overhaul might disrupt things too much.

I know it worked out for Leicester but generally it wouldn't be much better than where we are in the table at the moment. That's my opinion. Gladly be happy to be wrong.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 May 2016 23:21:23
They know how to get results when they are close to relegation. We must stay focused on getting a manager that can get results over a full season and consistently.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 May 2016 23:32:35
I'd settle for a new manager and some creativity in midfield oh and a left winger and maybe a striker and goalie plus a right back and a no nonsense centre back. Hmm looks like we might be needing a rather large war chest this summer after all.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

11 May 2016 21:55:12
whoever comes in as the new manager has to find some positive midfield players. We have not looked for months like we know what to do with the ball in possession except pass it to the side and allow the opposition time to get in position. If it is Moyes who finally gets the nod, please do not come back with Neville as number 2. Let it be someone who understands midfield play, even someone like Arteta. Much better for the hierarchy to put roberto out of his misery before Norwich. a sad end to his time but better to avoid a bad atmosphere at the last game.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

11 May 2016 22:02:54

11 May 2016 21:51:06
Well Kone got man of the match and scored a couple. I really underestimated him and take back everything I said. Joking aside, I keep reading people saying this is the best squad and players are good and it is the manager's fault with tactics. I disagree. I think this squad has relegation written all over it. It is partly due to tactics. and motivation. but the quality of players overall is poor. The balance of the squad is all wrong and we are in desperate need of decent attacking midfielders. Lennon looks ok but was 3rd choice at Spurs for a reason. Mirallas is quality but is a fish out of water in this team. McCarthy has never passed forwards in 3 years. Barry looks great. because the rest are so poor. Lukaku stopped playing about 10 games ago and Barkley is left wondering what is going on. Allergy said they should have had 5 or 6.I made it 7 or 8! That's how much we have progressed under this manager and those who don't want Moyes back and wanted rid in the first place need their heads examined in my opinion!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

11 May 2016 22:02:38
The only bit I agree with there Degsypulford is your last line! I've commented about this topic with you before but we'll just have to agree to disagree.

What about Barkley? No chance of him signing a new contract now.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 May 2016 22:07:53
This is not about moyes. although I understand frustration. Moyes did well, and I never wanted him to leave but he was / is an average manager. but he certainly would have done better with those players. However, we need a dynamic, passionate, intelligent manager with ability to inspire and coach from the back to the front. Martinez is not that man, but I honestly don't think moyes is either. I think Martinez is in no mans land now. fans don't want him and I'm u guessing players don't want to play for him either.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 May 2016 22:10:24
Just write down Leicester's starting eleven and ours and look at the ability on paper. We should be miles better. We won't get relagated because luckily there will always be 3 teams worst but our complete coaching staff is championship quality at best.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 May 2016 22:15:13
I don't want Moyes back and I certainly don't need my head examined. Yes it's really bad right now and Martinez must go but there's better out there than Moyes and we should be looking for the very best out there, not hankering over past experiences which let's be honest were stable but in the end uninspiring under Moyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 May 2016 22:16:21
What do you think they will achieve by getting Moyes back? The man will never win anything, cannot handle the big players needed for the CL, loses vital games by dithering, and the best you could hope for under Moyes is a 6th to 8th place. We have a billionaire shareholder who wants success. He will go for better than Moyes. Moyes never cared much for youth policy which is vital for any club. If Moyes is wanted by Everton, how come teams above us have not been after him? Simple. They don't want him. To my knowledge he has been linked with one premier league club, Villa, who are now a championship side and where Moyes belongs.

I hope so. Unable to pass, no passion or desire, clueless really dags. Sunderland wanted it more and it showed. There can't be any more excuses now. I think I can speak for all Everton fans in saying we're angry and totally deflated now. It's a job too much for Martinez, sack him and start from scratch I think.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 May 2016 21:48:03
I know a season is over 38 games but if we had sacked Martinez after the FA cup semi final maybe Norwich and Newcastle would still have half a chance. let's hope Roberto does go before Sunday because Norwich fans won't be too fond of him either!

This is supposedly the best Squad since the 80's, yet this man along with his relegation tainted Staff has utterly destroyed their ability and moral. We are so lucky that this has been such a poor Premiership this Season because that could very well be us languishing in the bottom 3. Sunderland are not a good side yet they are making us look very very ordinary.

I can here the chant already Roberts Martinez get out of are club speaking to me mate who's there she said it could be a noisy one for the Bobby out brigade ie every evertonian and she thinks there going to make it so uncomfortable for him tonight.

Ed a change of subject from the Rm bashing but what do you think of the tony bellew fight happening at Goodson . Do you think he will fill it it's a big ask for someone who only just sells out the echo arena I have never been a big fan of his but commend him for the publicity he gained the club in his movie. Iam going to go along it's the only world title boxing match ever to be staged at Goodson and feel the lad is due our support let's just hope Rm isn't giving him the instructions on the night.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - tony is a good friend of mine AM8 and i expressed the same concerns to him myself, i think it will be a decent fight but with the undercard being lets say unspectacular i dont think the crowd will be as big as some are expecting, but i wish him well mate..

Well the madness continues. The bookies have O'Neil as firm favorites to take over as manager. Martinez continues as if he will stay for ever and the club makes no comment. As Ed 002 has stated many times it looks as if no decision will be made before the end of the season as far as Martinez position is concerned. If that is the case I hope that the final game verses Norwich will see the spectators support the team and give them a reasonable farewell without any of the stupid banners, plane flyover etc. Let's face it, it may be the last time Lukaku, Stones and Martinez are at the club. I would hate them to leave with bad memories of the way our supporters behaved. Also I hope the club suggests to the players and manager that they leave wives, kids and significant others either at home or in the stands. Let's have a dignified end to the season befitting this great club and then we can all look forward to better times.

Yes thanks Paul, checked first thing this morning and it still had O'Neil as favorite and now it has Hughes. Don't want either so hope this changes soon as well.

Live game tonight which has massive repurcussions for Sunderland, Newcastle and Norwich, how embarrassing if we just roll over again and get stuffed!
We have a professional obligation to perform tonight for the integrity of the game and for the loyal Everton supporters that will be there or watching live!
I am fed up with listening and watching various media sources with commentators and pundits all asking the question what's happening at Everton, they see it we see it, the board see's it and only they can put a stop to the rot!
Please I do not want another bumbling lame post match interview with RM saying we were poor and need to address it one more time!

Agree Wakka. The need to show a reaction every other game is a shambles. It means we are easy to beat and only a wounded pride motivates them to do their jobs properly.

If there is consistently a need to show a reaction to poor performances then it's a no brainer that the coaching staff need replacing.

If I was sitting in front of my TV tonight wearing a black and white shirt,
Lets say trepidation would be putting it politely! reasons=

#Momentum goes to Sunderland
# Recent poor (more like dire) performances goes to us
#Dressing room command goes to SA
#Dressing room disarray goes to RM

The other day RM tried to defend his transfer policy I wouldn't trust him with anymore money his buys so far.

Alcaraz on a free 2 seasons played less than 20 games . Verdict pants.

Kone 5 mil played a handful of games in two seasons played regularly first 10 games this season scores a hat tick and is given 2yr extension. Verdict Lord Lucen.

Robles don't know how much cost 3 seasons ago didn't play when he did was dodgy should have been no.1 early. Verdict decent

Besic big reputation only looked good in a handful of games regularly injured. verdict jury's out.

Mori 9 million bit steep Steep when the deal was originally 5 mil secret clause we
didn't know van dyke better option. Verdict hit and miss.

Barry a donkey, McCarthy pants, Lukaku £28 maybe but worth every penny. Mori, yes price was steep at first but looks like he's worth every penny also. Besic and Robles decent buys. As was Del boy and Lennon.

I want a new manager as much as anyone but everything he done is not wrong. I'm overall happy with Martinez signings. The rest you mention didn't go well but every player he signs can't work out. Even for the best of managers.

Its his tactics, style of play and no plan B is my problem. A change would be fantastic for this squad and club. Even a plan B or C would spruce things up imho.

P. S. Got lost in translation. I certainly don't think Barry is a donkey or McCarthy pants. Was referring to Victors comment above. McCarthy has increased in value which is very much good imo. Barry has been fantastic since coming imho. Last season he wasn't brilliant but over the 3 seasons he has been one of the most consistent and top performing players imho.

Dear Bill, I'm just about to go on an under 16s football coaching course can I please be your manager? I promise I will practise set pieces also mix it up a little and not just play it out from the back. Another thing I would do is ensure I would bring on game winning subs when we most need them (like when we're losing) just a thought.

It may seem way off the mark but I like winning and would do everything in my power to have a great team work ethic and make my team play and defend to a standard that would make your fans proud of.

P.S. I also promise you Champions league football.

Dreadful, as a life long blue to see RM put through press conferences that really are taunting him over his abysmal record.

No need for this and what I've learnt from my old Dad and Grandad is, we do the right thing with dignity.

Bill Kenwright, You know your history, stop this nasty and vindictive witch hunt on a decent man totally out of his depth.

How can I feel pity for Martinez, if he was a decent man he would have resigned, but he gets more money if sacked.
He tried to humiliate Baines, he drops players because they do not agree with him. Maybe when he has gone those of you will reflect that he is not the nice guy he leads many of you to believe.
