Found a statistic that really tests my knowledge of the word 'stagnation'. Maybe those after that much more from Moyes and the team should be more patient with the likes of Rodwell, Gueye, Drenthe, Barkley, Coleman just finding their feet and those like Jagielka, Baines, Howard and even Distin who are still peaking in their career form.
'Everton's average league finish in the last five years is sixth. It was 11th for the five years before that and 15th for the five years before that. Now show me a club in decline. '

Just read the 'taking to the enemy' piece on the clubeverton site, one of the chelsea fans were saying that this everton team is the worst team everton have had for years! I reckon its one of the best teams we have had for while! Whats your thoughts ed and everybody else? {Ed001's Note - the only problem I see is the system, but the team itself, especially with Saha fit, is certainly, in my opinion, the strongest Everton have had in a long time. I think Everton will be in the European places come the end of the season myself.}

How can people say that when it literally the same side we have had for 3 years !!! We were tipped for a champions league spot last season and that was without the emergence of Coleman and Gueye, not forgetting young Ross Barkley and the loan signing of Drenthe.
Its the same squad that was rated as the 4th or 5th best in the league a couple of season's ago, all we have lost really is Arteta who only played 51 games in 3 seasons so not tooo bad IMO !!!!!!!

I think moyes should give billy a game or 2 playing behind the striker then if he still looks s**te get rid! But have to give him a chance to play in his prefered position! Hope we go out and attack chelsea dont want another defensive perfotmance!

We have to give him a chance surely ! What was the point in spending 9 million which is massive for us to play him out wide and not use him in his natural position ??
He played central last night for Russia and scored ! coincidence ??????
