What happened to Baningimi. I was probably 3 seasons ago now that he broke into the team and looked a decent player who could be moulded into a gang gueye replacement.
I know he got injured but I'm pretty sure he's fit now. With the options we have in the middle for me it makes sense to give him a go over Davies and Sigurdson.
Any of the Ed's know the situation with him?

I have always thought he did quite well when he came on. If we had the CBs for it I'd play Gomes with Holgate.

Tha lad should start before Davies, schnids, siggy and Delph. He's full of energy and does the dirty work so Gomes doesn't have too. Played well every game he has had for us 1st team wise.

Just saw he signed a new contract 12 months ago as well so he must’ve been rated by Brands at the time. Give him a go and see what happens. Can’t be any worse than Davies at the moment who imo needs a loan next year.
Hopefully he gets a full year elsewhere ( preferably Germany) and he can either improve to the level required or we move him on.

had a spell at wigan on loan, got injured for near enough all of it. had a loan to sweden fall trhough on deadline day. Been on and off injured all season.
