I for one understand the doom and gloom, I've been miserable for weeks now but let's get a grip. We won't go down, not a chance. When we get somewhere near full strength we'll be ok but I always thought that Uefa cup would damage us and it will continue to do so especially as we'll get past the group (still hope we don't). We'll end up about eighth in the league though. Fa cup maybe. As for the long term, RM is having second season syndrome and perhaps isn't the maestro we thought. Time will tell. We have to beat villa. If we don't I'm consigned to extended misery.

I don't see how we can blame the Euro cup for our performances. Later in the season then perhaps it becomes an issue for a squad as low on numbers and quality like ours but after only 2 games? No way. The truth is that Bobby screwed up preseason and that left us way behind. Couple that with no plan B and you have what we're seeing now.

If you actually want us not to qualify you have to question yourself as a fan mate. If you want us fail in Europe then we may as well finish 17th every year and have done with it.

Everton won't go down this season, @ least not yet. But with this trend, next season is a sure bet.

Feel more upbeat after unloading a massive poo, let's have a little chat abar bobby m shall we, last season it was all out, positive substitutions and non stop aggression from everyone, all heart, fast flowing football, lukaku on the win, NO ONE expected that, it was a one off, what does he do? Plays him there every game now, you have to evolve your game as a manager, he hasnt, won't and probably cannot, I firmly believe last season was a massive fluke, i'm fully expecting defeats from villa, burnley and spurs in the near future, he's got a broken defence, he's got a weak attack and he ain't got the first clue how to fix it, he's a fraud of man, mr positive all the time, makes up for the fact he's had his one season wonder, he's been brought back down to earth and cannot adapt, he isn't taking risks, he's changing nothing, he can't face up to last season because he's weak, he's scared and he's crumbling under the pressure and when in such circumstances, we can only go one place, down, i'm not being over the top either, he has no idea what he is doing, get someone in who does, #martinezout

He and a number of other posters want to go and look up the word " supporter" in the dictionary because they obviously haven't a scubbie what one is. Would they go to finch farm and stand in the middle of the players and manager and tell them they are crap etc etc? But then its ok to diss them on here with only 7 . yes 7 . Games played. Again go and look at the dictionary. It begins with s!

Swan I have not agreed with a lot if your post but this takes the biscuit and shows how fickle you are. Maybe it's an age thing. Reality please cygnet.

Agree0 Disagree0

WTF Swan? I've always accepted you as being a dissenter with regards to our club, especially when Kopites come a calling on here taking the p**s, but this is way over the top! We've a relatively easy schedule ahead of us starting next weekend. We WILL beat Villa. They've had a relatively easy start in terms of fixtures and with the backing of a full house Goodison will rock. Come on, where is your support for Roberto and the boys? Maybe you are looking for Moyes to return or worse?
It's not all doom and gloom after 7 games. A win will send us soaring up the table. Get behind the team.

Awwww thanks tezza mwah, it always annoyed me when people say I should go and do the persons job if I don't like what they're doing, that's like saying you can't say anything about anything, ever, who's better messi or ronaldo? doesn't matter, you can't have a say until you're better than both, who'd win in their prime tyson or ali? Until you beat them both you cannot have a say in the matter, I tend to do this whole martinez thing overdramatically, if I had the choice, would I sack him? No of course not, I still believe he doesn't have a plan b and I still believe last season was a one off, do I really want moyes or pardew? Come on lads you know better than that, do I really think we will be facing liquidation in six years time? you're too easy, do I think we will get beat by villa? Yes, I believe we are in a very bad situation, but not to the extreme that we should hit the panic button, my sarcasm has been taken kindly too on this site before, maybe I need to use it more often so you can catch me out when I go over the top (again, purposely), I know we did well last season, I remember giving utd fans stick and all sorts last season, its came back to bite us in the arse, what i'm doing is lowering my own expectations and in doing so, if we improve, I can breath a huge sigh of relief, and if it makes you feel better, allows you to laugh come may

I really cannot believe some of my fellow Blues on this site recently. Here is why: Everyone knows I was a David Moyes love machine. I really believed (and still do) that he changed the direction of our club in so many ways. I constantly said that I was worried that his solid defensive line up was key to how we could compete with the big spending clubs. Certain other posters became almost abusive towards me for saying this. Even though I said that I would give Roberto as much chance as I could to see how he performed. All last season I grew more and more impressed with Roberto and joined in praising him together with these previous posters who had ridiculed me for praising Moyes. 7 league games in and we have people on here saying to get rid of Roberto and some even suggesting we bring back Moyes. Can I just say Vincent Tan should be the chairman and we will have a club run just how you guys want. Changing direction every 5 minutes. And wo betides anyone who disagrees with the chairman, because they will be gone immediately too! Please get real fellow Blues. We are only 7 games in and have an injury list as long as the unemployed figures (nearly). Key players have been out during these games and we have played most of the top 6 in this 7 games. I feel that Roberto has made mistakes.particularly regarding not playing Stones at center half in some of the games where he put him in at right back. However, I am sure he had real footballing reasons for doing this. Perhaps Hibbert was unfit? Anyway, I suggest you get off Roberto's back and realise that he is the same manager that you were all wax lyrical about last season! An angry degsypulford!

Martinez wigan destroyed us in the cup @ Goodison & that was moyes final straw although thought he could have signed a short term contract so Kenwright could have got some compensation.
He was tapped up by United as we all know so he did the dirty on us can't 4give him 4 that.
His cv reads 11 yrs @ Everton won Nowt, lasted 6 months or whatever @ old Trafford & turned champions into a laughing stock.
The hierarchy obviously didn't trust him with the transfer kitty but Van
Gall has spent 150 mill already.
Martinez will be given time but think
teams have sussed the martinez
way of playing no plan b

Couldn't agree more. From a badly organized preseason through to a badly prepared defensive line the buck stops with RM. We're now a reflection of his ideas and right now they're not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's what i've been saying for a while the way I see it if we don't get points from our next three games he will be towing the line me thinks.

Panicking after a few games. let's see what the situation is at xmas. We will smash Villla at the weekend and start moving up the table

I was expecting a bright start to the season but we've been slow out the blocks for whatever reason, players tired perhaps after the World Cup, poor pre season, injuries, loss of form, Same 4 all clubs though with players involved on the world stage. We ain't firing @ all & haven't even come close to the level of footy played last season
3pts absolutely vital against villa otherwise we're going to be rock bottom of the premiership.

Fans of the premier league (like myself) commonly say that it's the 'most exciting league' in the world as anybody can beat anybody. Whilst this may be true, to reflect on other posts which I've read, can any of you ever see a premier league winner other than United, City or Chelsea? Can any of you see the likes of Hull winning the league? Or Swansea? Or even West Brom? I think that for as long as football is a monopoly, the winners will always be the same, and that's sad to think about. For us, we thought that this year would be the year we finally broke the glass ceiling and broke into the top 4 after going close but realistically, the way that we have been playing, can any of you see it? In all honesty it would not surprise me if the top 4 were exactly: Chelsea, city, United (after even more excessive January spending) and Arsenal. It's alright saying: we've been unlucky, but have any of our performances merited a win? Against Arsenal and Leicester we stupidly threw the lead away in the last 10 minutes, against Chelsea we completely panicked, against West Brom we were battered despite picking up a win, against Palace we were absolutely awful and a Neil Warnock side beat us at home, in the Derby we didn't look like scoring and against Man U we didn't start playing until 5 minutes until the end. Have there been any performances which have merited a win? We haven't been unlucky, we have been disgraceful. Sorry about the longevity of this post, at the moment Everton have got me on a real downer. I want us to turn it around but with all of the injuries we now have, I'm not sure we will start turning it around for 3-4 weeks. Not a good time to be a blue at the moment .

Cant believe the negativity on this site.

We lost to Manchester United away from home and I felt we always had the chance to win the game. United with players like DI Maria, Falcao, Rooney, Mata etc give the guys a break and get behind them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Once a Blue didn't play.

What about the loss to the mighty Crystal Palace then. or the mighty Swansea. They have awful players and we still got beat by them.

We have been terrible all season, and Donkey looks like he couldn't care less this season.

We are Everton

Swansea are a good footballing team? They are an okay side playing good football, they beat us 3-0, 3 bloody 0, its not acceptable, we also lost to crystal palace the exact same way we did last season, he has no plan b, we conceded 6 against chelsea, 6! At home!, we got beat by a team that had rafael, valencia, shaw and fellaini in it, again, unacceptable, we are about to be beat by a team that has a midfield of tom cleverley and joe cole, #martinezout

Agree0 Disagree0

Swan Martinez out? Give it a rest for gods sake he's done a great job since he came to us and fancy us strongly for the europa cup. And Mike as for the Lak the goals will come when he gets the correct service and will be a legend at the club I'm certain

Agree0 Disagree0

1st time ever the Swans have beaten the mighty blues.
Martinez must have thought the team he put out were good enough but it back fired.
3-0 is a good hiding but what worried me more was the boss actually came out & said we were the better team for long periods trying to pull wool over my eyes.
We can't have been watching the same match then!!.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini came of the bench shaw is a bright young star with a bright future within him and valencia is not that bad a player.
