Well at frist he played on the right where he enjoyed his best years i feel then moved in cm as a playmaker but still quiet deep. Sometimes played lm but not that much. hope that helps :)

I'd say for everton his best position was out wide on the left, but for arsenal, the way they play the game he would suit the middle best

Arteta will do alright at arsenal as he will suit their style of play. Good luck to him, but i do think we got the best years out of him and also got a good deal for all involved. It now gives the chance for rooders, barkley and fellaini to shine in our midfield this season. Outside chance of 6th place, it will be interesting to see how we do next month as we have a testing run of fixtures

Similar team to on the weekend but with an actual striker.
Good subs for most positions as well
Def - Neville, Heitinga, Hibbert (use one of these for RB in more defensive games?)
Mid - Rodwell, Gueye
Att - Vellios, Staq (one of these for timmy for a 442?) {Ed025's Note - good stuff mate..

JUSTIN ALLEN writes in the Sun today ".. despite receiving £10million from the Gunners in the divorce settlement, debts at Everton remain above £45m and there is little prospect of boss David Moyes getting any money to spend in January."
What a prat.
Debts were at 45m and we sold about 15m of players - so how could the debts 'remain at 45m'. Does this guy actually get paid to write this rubbish?
My calculator says that 45 - 15 = 30! {Ed001's Note - why are you reading the S*n anyway?}

Not 100% but from my understanding we still have total liabilities of £65m. Its just the overdraft that has been reduced so still dont expect any signings in Jan

Took the words right out of my mouth ED. A comic written by cave men. (Wavertree Blue) {Ed007's Note - Some comic books are quite interesting, that rag isn't.}

Justin is actually a top-rate journalist. He is correct that the debts are £45million (give and take £5m). To call him a prat is unfair. We could say you are prat for stating that after selling £15m of talent, your debt was £45m before you sold talent. I was in fact £60-65m and you have reduced that by £15m - so he's not far wrong if he is. {Ed001's Note - still wrong, there has been no account taken for the pay outs that are made to players who are moved on. Their contract does not just get ripped up, clubs have to pay the player a percentage of the remaining contract, unless the player has requested a transfer. There is also usually a signing fee spread throughout the course of a contract, that has to be paid up as a lump sum when a player leaves. So if he thinks Everton sold players for £15m and they then have £15m in the bank afterwards he is miles out and clueless. But then he writes for a pathetic lying rag and so you don't expect truth or good knowledge.}

£45m debt and lossing £5m a year. Sell £15m of players. None of which handed in a transfer request so loss 10% to the player straight away. Interest payments, agent fees, loan fees etc there is no way we cleared any more than £10m.

Hibbert at fault second goal. He should have closed the winger down much quicker, but he just strolled out towards him. The guy had about 5 seconds to line up his deadly cross.

You are wrong, Distin should have won the header in the 6 yard box, he just let it go!

No it was abganlohar's fault , he should have let it go

No it was Howard's fault, he should have put his fist through it!

No, it was Moyes' fault for not playing 4-4-2.

No it was Kenwrongs fault FULL STOP!

Arteta's fault for not warning moyes before deadline day he wanted to go - if he'd have done that earlier we'd have spent some of his cash on another top replacement - like striker!
Having said that it doesn't excuse Hibbo deciding to take his summer holidays a bit later this year and choosing the moment his opposing winger received the ball, to get his deckchair an' kitkat out and take a nice relaxing break.

Why would you sell the most technically gifted striker we have had since Rooney for peanuts? He is better off staying I agree with everything else bar bily, I think he is going to surprise us this season

We will not sign donavon, no way his wages are sky high and hes pushing 30 wouldnt pay that amount to him

Mate get in the real world ! Also droppping Osman ?? He's been our best player along with Baines since january !!
Do you actually go the match kid ! As for Championship Manager for the PC goes you could probably do them transfer's !
Not in the real world though mate, WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET DONOVAN ! WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET ADAM JOHNSON AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO SELL SAHA OR HEITINGA ! Get back on your computer mate ! or your armchair !

Right use are all stupid for a start why would i sell Saha hmm because next year he will be 34 and will not even be fit to play and Bily will suprise this season no he wont hes to lightweight and isn't even going to get his chance to prove himself while Drenthe is here, and about Donovans wages being sky high we just let Arteta go who was our highest earner and im sure Donovan would take a slight cut, and yes I no Osman has being playing excellent but hes not getting any younger either so fair enough all moan about Moyes when he plays a negative formation and all moan about dropping Osman so really make your mind up and Barkley needs to play hes at that age for the club to go forward players like Rodwell, Gueye, Barkley and Vellios all have to play and step up, and why couldn't we got Johnson on loan? And maybe Heitinga could stay with Distin getting on abit but I still think everything else could happen... and ok for all of you Osman bum chums i'll change the team to...
Howard, Coleman, Jags, Distin, Baines, Osman, Felli, Barkley, Drenthe, Cahill, Stracqualursi
