eds just a thought, i will start by how much of a disgrace crystal palace are sacking frank de boer, do you think things will become pressured on koeman, i mean i hope not myself but its something in football that happens a lot now, a run of poor results could get people talking, its his team now and after that terrible selection against spurs i.e players out of position, its very worrying, i always thought moyes was comfortable with bill but now moshiri is throwing his money in i can't help but think it could happen here, your thought?

{Ed002's Note - The mistake was appointing him.}

No there is no need to panic, koeman was Moshiri's man and he spent a lot of money putting him and his team in place as with Steve Walsh, pundits just hum on the bandwagon, how much we spent is irrelevant, people keep saying we spent loads when in fact we haven't it just looks that way cause they are not used to Everton spending money like this summer. All these people will be saying how well we have spent after a period of time. Koeman was my choice as well, try and look at fixtures in blocks of 6-8 games and see what points are realistic.
After Utd game we have a spell where we should be looking to take a lot of points and it will balance out this tough run of games we have been dealt.

Ed002 has always said he isn't the man. Didn't like the way he spouted stuff in the media when it should of been kept in house and it backed Everton and barkley into a corner. I think it could also be the way the Dutch carry themselves very open and abrupt. He will have 1 year remaining after this year will he stay does he really care about Everton. Is he picking these formations to get at the board for not getting a target man who knows maybe.

So who is the man, let's be fair if koeman would of won all 4 games we would not be having this conversation, all these people who didn't want koeman, who did they want as I seem to remember a lot of people saying De Boer would be good at the time when he was with Ajax, be nice to hear what names people would say now to what they said more than 12 months ago.

I for one didn't want koeman and said it from the start but I have supported him and the team from the first day but who did I want instead? I have no idea I just know I didn't want koeman but I will back him as long as he is here but I am not as upbeat as some from what I have seen after all he has had 3 transfer windows . probably get shot down for this post but football is all about opinions 😈.

Bloody hell. We are 1 point worse off than we were from these games last season and with a completely new team. We got 6 points if you count the man u game of last season so in theory we are going to be 2 points behind if we lose to them, 1 point behind if we draw and 1 point ahead if we beat them. Hardly doom and gloom just yet. We need to be patient and take stock every 6-8 games like True Blue mentioned.

I said if we have 7 points from first 5 games then I would be happy. Still possible but even a draw against Utd is a good start. Fixtures were tough but let's all STAY CALM and KEEP THE FAITH.

I had us down for 4 maybe 5 after first 4 games was anyone actually thinking we were going to win one of those last 3 games, I believe that we can get something at Utd on Sunday but we need to win and put a good performance in on Thursday to give bit of confidence which can be a perfect springboard for next 5 or 6 matches after that I think we will see a more balanced and functional team.

just been on newsnow and the first 3 stories that caught my eye were ex Liverpool players talking about how bad our summer transfer dealings where which is fine as we know we made a mistake not getting a striker in but in reality they are doing what Liverpool fans do best talk about Evertons failings instead of their own teams 5 nil hammering and Liverpool's miserable transfer window not addressing the defence once again diverting attention on to us which sly sports are happy (they both work for them) with as they don't want to upset lfc season ticket holders ie sly sports subscribers ha ha anyway rant over looking forward to Thurs n sun hopefully our boys can get 2 positive results to shits these idiots up.

There are a few on these boards that like to talk about the Red half of the City instead of concentrating on their own Team Bluey. We (Everton) are not immune. We (normally the kids) , in this City more than any other many families brothers sisters, partners, husbands and wives are split supporting blue or red. Up to recent years it has been family orientated friendly rivalry. Lamentably that is no longer the case.

I live 10 mins away from the ground buddy and grew up in Crosby so know all that my point being it seems they are talking about us more than talking about their own clubs current issues once again they shift the glare away from their club it's always been the same with sly and tb sports they both have a love affair with the red side.

They get paid to talk about 20 teams not just liverpool they criticise liverpool for not buying a center half same way as us for not buying striker and in both cases there right.
