As disappointing as we have been lately we have played all of the FA Cup semi finalists away recently, drew two, lost one narrowly.
If the proper Everton show up we can beat any of them.

Agree. i'm just waiting for the martinez bashers comments. Utd looked better tonight v west ham but if we turn up there is no reason why we can't win.

. I shall be cheering us on in the semis as a fan. but 2 x seasons of bottom half finishes is simply not acceptable for our great club and talent available within the squad so therefore he must be sacked at the end of the season!

Well we've turned up in 4 of the last 19 league games so not sure you will get your wish.

The "proper" Everton that's turned up 12-15 times through the entire season? i'm not going to start bashing Martinez for nothing, but we've picked up 2 points of 9 in games where we shouldve done far, far better. Shall I grab the champagne? i'm happy about the semi-final, but let's not get blinkered and forget the rest hasn't happened, eh.

Kone's starting. get in. So he's better than Deulefeu and Mirrallas then yeah?

{Ed025's Note - get the hammer out...thats another nail in bobs coffin..

13 Apr 2016 19:34:54
That shows how poorly he must rate Niasse. I'd rather Piennar there, see if him and Baines can link up again.

I've just read on ssn app. That Chelsea can buy rom back for a reduced fee. Does anyone know if there was a buy bank option.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I would ignore any thought of a "buy back" option - there certainly is not one in Lukaku's contract. There is also going to be nothing about Chelsea being able to buy him at a reduced fee - someone is teasing you.}

13 Apr 2016 19:15:55
Cheers ed. it was paper talk on ssn app on my phone. What do you think the price would be.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - The price will be as much as Everton can get any of the fourt interested parties to pay. If Chelsea were to become interested (and there is support for him still from his original player liaison and an ex-player he has been in contact with) then the two people at teh club who were offended by what happened would both need to sanction an offer - and that can only help boost the price.}

13 Apr 2016 19:47:29
Cheers ed.

they were on about deducting what we still owe them so not really reduced fee, also something about bonus if we win fa cup, they are just spouting crap mate.

Please not klinsman, de boer, koeman, will do me.

On another note I think murffs wife done him in for what he said in comments further down page.

She is also sick of him betting on Everton so 👍 Well done 😂😂😂.

Koeman definitely. De boer tbh I'm not to sure on is he really a proven manager we need. Kinsman definitely not, Just seen an interesting article on news now where Lahm slated his management saying basically he's a good fitness coach but neglects the technical side. I'd rather keep rm.

didint realise or forgot that we were playing tonite. robbie has drained all of my thoughts I have about everton and made my thoughts go elsewhere. if he is here much longer I may even forget that I am a everton supporter.

interesting stat on the BBC sport website today. In the preview for tonight's game against Palace, this was mentioned:

"Palace have conceded the most fouls in the Premier League this season (409) while Everton have committed the fewest (258) . "

Been a long time since I've seen an Everton side not being aggressive. Part of the problem maybe?

Said it before and I'll say it again. We play nice football with a nice attitude. That stems from you know who. Fair play to him he's well liked as a person but it doesn't cut it on the playing field. Once you cross that line you should be willing to do anything to win.

It comes out in the players on how they are coached and set up tactically. Unfortunately we have a gentleman implementing those. Personally I like the saying 'nice guys come last'

When your competing, especially in a professional sport nice shouldn't come into it.

What's this I've just seen on social media a Yong boy saying something to RM and a conversation taking place.

I've heard two rumours regarding Martinez. Probably both a load of tosh but this is a rumours site after all so don't shoot the messenger!

Firstly the Star is reporting that Martinez will have crunch talks with the board after the Palace game.

Secondly a mate in work (not necessarily in the know, unsure as to his source) reckons that Martinez offered his resignation and Kenwright said no.

I can't see many managers willing to miss out on a big pay off so doubt it's true.

13 Apr 2016 16:08:21
believe the first mate as Mr Moshiri will be telling him what happens if we get knocked out the cup and results stay the same, Billionaires don't need to be nice

dont believe the 2nd though as no way would he offer his resignation as he believes he has a special partnership and incredible focus etc etc.

Just been reading on sky regarding how Simeone has got A Madrid defensively superb and one of the best in Europe due to their work without the ball, wonder if we could get him in the summer!

Said before he'd be my number one. Pitty he doesn't speak English. I'd love to have him at Everton but I think it's highly unlikely. Ed's might be able to fill in better about him?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Simeone speaks poorish English but is learning. My Spanish is poor and we could hardly communicate. Simeone is looking forward to being at the (really nice) new stadium with Atletico - which will be in 2017. He has had opportunities to move and has not been interested at this time. There is zero chance of him joining Everton.}

13 Apr 2016 09:52:32
Sorry to add to my above post I'd prefer if we could get him in before tonight's game!

We could bring him as a defensive coach to work alongside Martinez 😂.

Ye know what Longy I would wait the 10 years if this happened, imagine where this stadium would be built mate, prime location, prime transport links and massive development, this would be worth the wait and not as if we have not waited much anyway, what's another 10 years, even when our new stadium is decided it could take 5 years for planning and building work to finish, I hope this is true.

13 Apr 2016 16:48:42
One problem with waiting 10yrs murf could be finding somewhere else to play.How much longer is goodison going to be passed as fit for purpose? there's only so many licks of paint left on the place.The sooner the better a new ground move for me ino.

What's another ten years? Quite a lot when your in your late fifties mate. Want to go to the stadium, not be part of it. Always said I would have my ashes spread in Goodison, feel a bit weird being in a new ground. So bloody build one now and be QUICK!

I'm probably going to take a load of stick and be banished from the banter pages but,I'm going to be 100% behind my team for rest of season.living near Newcastle I don't get to go to many games,but I envy those that do week after week.we all know our manager can't cut it ( even though he has tried) ,but I'm going to cheer them on,even if its through the live TV games.Everton football club is my team.I want to see us where we belong.I'm not going to post stats or stuff like that. I'm just going to be behind my club,our manager,100% til end of season.nothing is going to change,possibly,until then,so let's all stop moaning and be what we are. .supporters.I'll probably wake up to proven stats and anger,but it's just how I feel.I'm always on here and tbf the negativity is getting depressing. We post about other teams fans moaning and take joy in it half the time, but we really are just as bad.I'm leaving it there.I'm going to stop posting and probably,stay off the site as it's too depressing now.but there's one thing I won't do and that's stop supporting Everton Football Club.
