Evening Ed..If Thierry Henry wanted to come on loan would we be able to afford his wages? {Ed025's Note - it depends on how much he wants?..there would not be a fee, and it would be short term, so i dont think money would be that big of an issue...whether or not he wants to come, is the big issue!

ed can you tell me in a nutshell what is going on with us, dan {Ed025's Note - basically..we are skint!...there is no sign of a buyer, or an investor...we may have a small transfer kitty for january, but not enough to purchase a quality player, we will do some business, but loans seem more realistic, no doubt the rose tinted glasses brigade will slate me for saying this, but im afraid thats the way i see it!!,,

Just want to say I know we are all desperate for investment but I think Bill may be doing us a favour waiting for the right buyer. I mean look at Blackburn, they got bought out by some indian playboys and are now ridinwithout a saddle.
Secondly I want Barkley to be playing, but I have a sneaky suspicion that he isn't yet because Moyes doesn't want to alert the big clubs yet until the ink on that contract has dried. If and hopefully when he's signed a long 5 year deal he'll be playing every game.
Barkley said he is signing a contract next week a few days ago on twitter so hopefully it'll be done soon

billy needs to go as well as anichibie/mucha/saha get somethin for saha while we can if the price is right get rid of johnny and get vossen/mgeedy/steven hunt for now and start giving the young lads ago so we can build a team around them next year if we survive this total mess of a season i really think round is a defence coach that should stick to what he knows best and leave the rest to people who know best aka irvine i feel like my beloved blue boys are in a mess

HI lovely evertonians altho im very clever at most things I dont really understand business so please feel free to explain to me why everton just gave out fiancial figures ?did any other club do that ? should not the figures been given out april ie start of fianancial year? was that 2nd set of figures this year? OR .does that mean january brings new regime ..just a thought please advise me ...tp
Everton make up their accounts each year to a 'year end' of end of May (most companies choose end of December) but maybe football clubs see end of May as useful as it sort of coincides with end of season - (as we never get to wembley!) - so you get the 12 months to end of May each time
hose would have been auditted during the mopnths afterwards - then signed and seeled and submitted to companies house quite recently - so you're just getting them now - hot off the press but still a bit out of date as Arteta has been sold since and Yak etc off the wage bill
