Hopefully we can stap martins indi up instead of de frij, who looks like bambi on ice. Also think we should try and sign snodgrass/milner, townsend and herandez. Need squad depth this season COYB!

Well that would really strengthen the squad?

Good evening Ed, would you mind answering two questions for me:

1) Are we in the market for a goalkeeper? I remember seeing a post saying that Joel was going to be sent out on loan or sold (can't remember exactly, was a while ago).

2) Are we looking at Loic Remy as an option for striker? Would be a good replacement for Lukaku and is proven in the Prem. I believe a poster on this site said before that he would cause disruption to the dressing room, but from my knowledge he had no incident at Newcastle.

Thanks

About today's poll - "Are Everton fans in general confused by the current transfer window system?".

Any chance of adding a "don't know" option?!

btw, absolutely delighted with the news of Robbie's new contract. Roll on next season!

I was thinking during the game last night, Neymar is 22yrs old with 50 caps and carrys the countries expectations on his shoulders, then thinking he did nothing Ross Barkley couldn't do yet he has less than half a dozen caps and the management of England are worried about the over exposure of his talent, perhaps he would have progressed quicker if Moyes had trusted in his development in the first team and not shipped him out to sheff wed and leeds? Owen was only 18 when he broke into the England first team, surely if you are good enough you are old enough?

Everyone forgets about his double leg break, in many ways it is incredible he is playing professional football at any level. Because of that injury in footballing terms he is essentially 18 having just played in his first full season, so it is massively different to Neymar in terms of experience and development.
Barkely was picked for England at the earliest possibility in terms of him playing top flight football. Because he missed such a critical year in his development his actual age is miss leading in terms of his football development. I have no doubts that he will have a great impact on this world cup and he will be the best player England has produced for some time, however what is the rush?

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe we are in for something special from Barkley in the next few weeks, he is definitely going to get his chance and Roy will start with the kids in one group game and the world will take note

Rooney to be top scorer-only needs 5 or 6 goals and he'll get half of them in one game
