05 Nov 2012 17:28:03 05 Nov 2012 18:28:04 The only way he'll get Moyes is to bring his cheque book to Everton and takeover the club. Isn't he quite wealthy ? 06 Nov 2012 11:44:11 When the day comes that Moyes moves from Everton, it will not be for a smaller club like QPR.

05 Nov 2012 15:56:43 I agree pidge, always interesting to see how our younger players are doing and he's not the only one doing well, George Green looks a real prospect too. Keep it up lads because you're coming into a golden era of Everton football club.
05 Nov 2012 13:16:28 I'm not a 'boo boy' - I'm posting on here to show the Coleman fans that he's not a great player - a few weeks back I dared to say he was awful and got a load of posts saying "you don't know what your talking about - he put two crosses over" etc - but I said watch him every game and see what he does - so I'll say it again - watch him in games - he's always out of position - tackles badly - miscontrols - can't get past a decent defender so plays easy passes backwards - OVERALL - he might be the difference between us getting champs league or not - he's easily our weak link - ok for the bench due to our financial position - but everyone else in our team is miles above him - do we really want to lose Fellaini Baines etc to champs league teams whilst we nurse maid Coleman into a half decent player? - your compassion is fine - but we've probably got one chance and one chance only to get into champs league - this year - rubbish or bust - before Felli goes - and that means wising up to coleman before he ruins that chance - harsh but true If he is still learning then he had better hurry up. He is 24. If you are awful at 24, there is not much hope for you. You could let him off if he was about 18 - 20, but he isn't going to get that much better. I'm with you all the way on that one. What did he cost, a 5 figure fee ? I think he's still worth that, he's that bad in my book. He looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights at the best of times. It's a catch 22 situation, you have to play him for him to get more experienced and develop some positional sense, yet the more he plays the more points he seems to cost us. At 24, he doesn't seem to be developing any longer or learning from his mistakes, he's had countless opportunities to prove himself and deliver but, for me, he just doesn't do it at all. He's got pace and provides the occasional assist or cross but that isn't enough to merit a place in the side on a consistent basis. Very poor player Sell him in Jan. he is a good lad, but we have moved on and got better. I think he has been left behind a bit. Can't get past a defender? Watch the third goal in the game against Southampton when he gets an assist. He is a good player IMO, stop slagging him off and get behind the team. When it comes down to it, Coleman is only covering Hibbert while he is injured, once Hibbert is back and he is fit, Coleman will be on the bench. Bobcat - I said he can't get past a decent defender and you drop the word decent and then mention a Southampton goal - durrrrrrrrr Have to say watching Coleman last season I wanted to get rid of in the summer, did feel a bit sorry for him as he got a bad injury in a preseason game a terrible tackle from a Spanish lad I think. In which I think was carrying in for most of last season. Granted he has been at fault for a couple goals this season, as has Tim Howard. I have to say I have been very impressed with Coleman going forward he looks fitter than ever. Some great dribbles, one-twos and superb crosses. Under the guidance of Moyes improving his defensive and positional problems dont see it been to long before we have a top right back for years. Think he has improved every game this season and for that reason hope he stays right back for a few more games as I think you will see the defensive mistakes been eradicated and we will have our long term right back in position.
05 Nov 2012 11:54:30 Good effort. Although lets be honest, Suarez is the better player. HAHA, I bet I know what that last word was supposed to be before Ed done his magic. Give him some time to find his feet and get to grips with the English game and I'm sure he can be as influential for us as the number 7 for the reds is. From what I've seen thus far he's going to be some player for us. He's only shown glimpses of what he is really capable of and if he can reproduce the form he showed in the greek league then £5/6m will prove a bargain in the long term. I don't recall their number 7 making such a big impact in such a short space of time, 10 games or so. Yes he's borderline world class, pains me to say it, but I feel Mirallas has lots more to offer given time. Why would that pain you to say it?? Just don't understand why "It pains me to say, Mirallas has more to offer" I meant to say the reds number 7, correct Ed. Apologies for my obviously terrible grammar
05 Nov 2012 09:36:23 Well said fella, I absolutely concur I agree with you mate, apart from the bit where you said 'he wasn't there'. Even if he was there, singing about Gerrard dying is not on. The obsession with some fans about Gerrard and Liverpool is a bit pathetic. I totally agree, forget them and concentrate on the blues
04 Nov 2012 21:22:44 I think Mirallas could do a job for us up front if anything happened to Jelavic , then we have big Vic (ok not the best), and Vellios, who has scored some important goals in the past and deserves a crack in my opinion. It's the middle of the park where I'm most concerned also, as P Nev isn't getting any younger and simply can't continue to play every minute of every game. We need a good, solid, steady partner for Gibbo and that man is Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe. If we can get him in I'd be over the moon and top 4 is a real, distinct possibility. Arsenal and Spurs are weak in comparison to yesteryear and if we're gonna make it then this year is out best chance.
