Feli will get banned thats for sure but they should take a look at shawcross even after the ref had spocken to the 2 of them he persisted in getting feli in a bear hug everytime the ball came near them a lot of defenders are doing the same to feli every week. If they look at replays and ban feli they should ban shawcross for holding and illeagally stoping feli throughout the game. thgfest

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Whether he was provoked or not, I can't condone those actions. Anywhere except a football pitch and he gets charged with assault. He may well yet, remember Big Dunc at Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

What Shawcross was doing is part and parcel of the game nowadays, and to wind up the opposition has been part of the game for decades. However, there's no place for assault in this game. He ought to be ashamed of himself since he's tarnished the reputation of our club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is this part and parcel its against the rules to stop a player playing by holding him throu out the game the refs should be awarding penalties or free kicks felani was wrong to react but if you were being stopped with such tactics you would get pi** ed off. thgfest

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree they should be awarding penalties but everyone seems to be doing it, that's why I say it's part and parcel of the game, and only Man C, Utd et al seem to get the decisions. It's the lack of consistency which annoys me, only giving them to the Sly 4.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can guarentee if jagelka does that to anyone we will give away a penalty its not part of the game he was a weak ref

Fellaini will be out for three games it almost looked like he wanted to get sent off today!
He'll have a good rest and be fighting fit for the start of the transfer window - coincidence anyone?

Can I say as an outsider a big up for David Moyes for his after match comments on the head butting, I realise he couldn't exactly deny it but he was for a manager at any level, spot on.

Good luck to you and him.

Its only what weve all come to expect from stoke over the years ed.you gotta try or learn to try and rise above all their antics and not to be brought down to there level as frustrating as it may be.easier said than done i suppose.jimmy

Groundhog day revisited yet again. Largely outplay the opposition first half, have a penalty claim for handball not given...again, go in 1 up and concede a soft goal in the 2nd half. Anyone see a pattern emerging here ? Only this time it was Howard and not Coleman making the mistake. Would have taken the draw before kick off though

The last 11 games drawn 9 won 2 when velious has come on both games why isnt he used more tom efc

for which team are really playing osman & pienaar? not for us. osman was the worst player of the game

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I don't like to slate players but its games like this when you realise the players who need replacing in the starting 11. Osman was shocking today he has had a good season but in my opinion he is one of the first I would replace if we are to progress yes he is a good squad player and good in certain games not all,its not the first time this season we have been out fought . I feel we need to stand up against teams when they start getting stuck in to us or need to adjust accordingly against these teams maybe we just haven't got the squad to do it. jelavic was isolated again, Fellaini was very disappointing and needs to learn from this. I thought Coleman did well at RB but I just think to many played ok but ok is not good enough to wear a blue shirt. Maybe Barkley will get chance to shine ? Howard has been at fault to many times now.
January needed
MC next to Gibbo
GK to either give Howard kick up backside or replace.
ST to replace Jelavic if injured or to change things around when they not working.
over to you Davey

Also think that the game would have suited Hibbert and neville yesterday our less technical players but will stand up to the fight.

hi ed i notice the usual posts around this time are about that we have no money and we have to sell our star players may i direct you all to robert elstones interview on on 07/12/12 stating that we do not need to sell players in january and there is a modest budget available, just take a moment, think, what has david moyes done in resent history with a modest budget? add to that what he has done in the loan market, do the top two need to start looking over their shoulder? maybe maybe not but this time last year some of us were thinking about a relegation battle now we are thinking top three could be possible. god i love everton lets get behind the blue boys, no one will leave, quality will come in ,could the title be possible? we are not to far away it never hurts to dream you know how good we are second half of the season, come on boys cheer us on who knows what is possible,WE ARE BLUE WE ARE EVERTON WE CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING COYB IMWT NSNO..........grbefc

Believable5 Unbelievable1
