Guys no need to worry anymore, big Bill has a master plan. An American billionaire is looking to buy a club in the Championship, so obviously Bill has figured that if RM can get us relegated he will be quids in. All we have to do is give up our top flight status as one of the biggest teams in the Engish league, and swallow all the crap that comes with that. So thanks Bill your plan is right on course, and I'm sure with a billionaire owner we will be back eventually. I mean look how it's worked out for all the other teams that did it.

do u think atsu deserve to be given a chance in the team watched him him afcon final and he was superb best player on the pitch tore the opposition to pieces and unlucky not to score. he and ayew were very good.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Absolutely Bretto, the lad hasn't had ah chance this season. He has both skill and pace and is prepared to track back, given a run of gameks imo he would become a crowd favourite similar to what Joel achieved over a few regular games.

Smith, yeah he will be a favourite, but will be chucked out the squad when aiden sausage roll mcgeady gets back #martinezout #justiceforJoel #JusticeforAtsu

I'm a bit puzzled at how over half of our team seem to think they are 'better than Everton' and yet together they look like crap and we're in the bottom half struggling - lukaku Mirrallas stones Coleman Baines jagielka (still England player) Lennon Barkley McCarthy are all either rated by others as better than everton or rate themselves as better than everton
They can't all be better than their team mates can they? As Besic is a great player this means that basically means that Howard Barry and Naismith are responsible for letting everyone else down and causing other players to want to leave - ok where Barry is concerned I agree and Naismith does sometimes look out of his depth against top teams (like Chelsea) and Howard is getting dodgier (ie Chelsea goal) but shouldn't we just replace those three with decent players than let the other 8 'top' players leave? Or is the manager the real problem - making us less than the sum of our parts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The problem is not the players its the impotent and pointless football they are being forced to play. With a higher tempo and more emphasis on actually attacking we would be in the top six this season with the players we have.

{Ed025's Note - very possibly sheeds..

Agreed Sheeds - surely Bill must see what's happening when half the team is set to leave - does he know how long it will take for a new manager to eventually replace everyone that leaves us because they can see this manager is tactically inept? Roberto's Possession passing football was good to start with but then the players started to think possession = safety - and we just kept passing it backwards all the time - 'attacking football' my a*se - we became totally defensive and were woeful when we did try to attack.

This was a team mainly built by Moyes with a great work ethic and team togetherness, it is sad and disappointing to see this being slowly eroded!

Agree0 Disagree0

A sense of purpose> Realistic player positioning > Knowing the opposition is quaking in their boots > Goal scoring made to look easy (even if it isn't )

and 'voila' there you go, here it is and eureka the secret formula that Senor Martinez has been looking for

I thank you btw BK I'm here all week :)

Agree0 Disagree0

You are all wrong. The players are all quite incredible and show a real hunger and desire. There is a wonderful team spirit and our mental strength will ensure we pass the ball and retain possession much better. sorry guys. I had a Roberto moment there!

Anybody have seats in the family enclosure, I am a sth in upper bullens and am thinking of moving to family enclosure with my 2 year old.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I did last year but moved to lower bullens this year

Agree0 Disagree0

What are the seats like there? Any good?

Agree0 Disagree0

Has your two year been very naughty then?

Agree0 Disagree0

No JCW she isn't sleeping so I thought watching us would knock her out haha she has been to a few games this season and enjoyed it so thought the family enclosure might be better as it's apparently family orientated but didn't want to get the season tickets if it's a rubbish area.

Agree0 Disagree0

Na it is a good area mate good view nice people and yeh family orientated area. the atmosphere over their ain't the loudest clearly because their is a lot of youngster over their

Agree0 Disagree0

We started off a few years back in the park end corner of the family stand but my kids couldn't see the goals at the Gwladys street - especially when these nobby group of fellas in their mid late 20s kept standing up all the time - why do blokes do that when they know they are blocking the view of smaller kids behind them?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers fellas think I will give it a go.

In lieu of Lukaku's recent comments about his ambitions to eventually play for a 'top team' and win the Champions League etc. the DM is reporting that Tottenham and West Ham are ready to sign him in the summer.

Sure, I'd like him to stay, but who are we to stand in the way of his dream move to East London's premier footballing institute? It's our responsibility to allow him to further his career by working with the tactical mastermind that is Sam Allardyce and feed off the world class support of Stewart Downing.

How are these people paid to write this stuff?

{Ed025's Note - good post that AB..

I have to say though ed, when they move in to the Olympic Stadium there's surely going to be a billionaire buyer not far behind. They could really take off. What do you reckon?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - the capital is a big draw for investors juicer, so that would not surprise me mate..

Robert Martinez talks a good game, but that's it, the man HAS lost the dressing room, HAS alienated huge numbers of our own supporters, and with one of the most talented groupe of players we have had in years, managed to play the kind of football, that makes stoke, wba, and even burnley look atractive and enterprizing. In the name of god, we at least deserve the view of the clubs chairman, but, he seems content to sleep walk into this potential disaster. Bill, if you realey are the big evertonion you claim to be, swollow your pride, admit you made a major error of judgment in this appointment, and cut your losses now, whilst their is still time to save our club, and your investment, if you can't sell us as a premiership club, you will have even less takers for a championship side.
