Got to say I generally dislike glen Johnson as a player I really don't rate him and even tho 2nite I thought he was quite bad going forward 2nite defensively he was absolutely awesome put in some really well timed strong tackles 2nite

I can't see what all the fuss was about with Rasmus Elm, he looks pants in this game, really overated.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Are you aware it is not relevant AT ALL to judge a player on one game? {Ed025's Note - thats true..

No Everton players in the England starting 11 again. To be honest I'm glad, it keeps our assets out of the shop window and prevents any injuries. Club before country every time for me I'm afraid.

I haven't seen ed 025 on here for a while, I'm starting to worry.
Blue kaz {Ed001's Note - he is having blisters removed off his backside from overworking at his day job in DFS testing the sofas. He got a really uncomfortable one and it has caused him no end of trouble, bless him.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Allow me to translate for Ed001... What he really meant to say is,

"Ed025 has escaped. We thought we'd secured his shackles tight enough after we let him take his weekly trip to the toilet. We are currently trying to track him down and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible."

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a bit worried that his disappearence comes hot on the heels of Tristen posting some of his recipe ideas recently!

If Moyes leaves, why don't we get Harry Rednapp, I hear he's out of a job at the momment!

Gods Doctor

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Harry like to spend money ...so no chance there

Agree0 Disagree0

Why bother with unless posts like this ?? cwould not let harry redknapp manager my local supermarket, over rated, over paid and never won anything, & never will win anything , thank god the f.a saw sense and steered clear of the clown !!........coyb....evertonpaul

Agree0 Disagree0

I have been wondering the same, it could more or less be an exchange.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as bill kenwright's got about 100 mil for him to lash about

Agree0 Disagree0

Very droll. Proves yet again that Evertonians have a wicked sense of humour. If you've supported them man and boy for nearly fifty years like I have you need a sense of humour :-) I'm told whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger...that means most long standing Evertonians must be like Superman by now!

Didn't Redknapp win F.A Cup with Portsmouth? im sure we wouldn't consider that nothing if it was us .. just sayin

All these rumours about Moyes going to Spurs are all hot air if you ask me. He's got a good thing going at Everton and has for the past 10 years. He has a relationship with Kenwright that i don't think he would get with Levy, and although he has a limited budget i think all this specualtion about Spurs and him could work in our favour. If the board are really contempt with keeping Moyesie then they'll pull their finger out and give him a good transfer kitty. Why would he want to leave a club who is on the up and is only 2-3 players away from a really class side to a team that look like they're going to have to sell all their best players, i.e: Modric, Van der Vaart and Bale. All you fellow blues who are worrying about Moyes departure, i wouldn't just yet until some sufficient evidence arises linking him with a move away from Goodison.

Jay EFC

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Dm says he needs 2-3 players , i agree a creative midfielder another striker are a must give dm £10 -15 mill and watch us go .. god bless dm and god bless all us blues

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said, Jay EFC. It's just speculation, but we love it and we love giving our six penn'orth. My philosophy is that managers and players come and go, but the club continues. It's lasted since 1878 and we've had periods of great success mixed up with periods of mediocrity and only four seasons outside the top division since the league started in 1888. We were the club with money for decades (the Mersey millionaires) and regularly paid big fees for players from other clubs - now the boot's been on the other foot for a while. When I win the big EuroMillions prize, I'll invest in Everton, but for now I have to be a normal supporter.

What is with these spanish papers linking us with Coentrao if Baines leaves. I know he could be to expensive for us but he isn't getting a game at madrid ! What do you think ed {Ed024's Note - I think baines is going nowhere, united have apparently cooled their interest and there was never an approach anyway

Believable1 Unbelievable0

15 Jun 2012 15:50:13
I don't think dm will go he has showm loyalty before he could have gone to Celtic but he has the blue in his blood now. And it sets a example to fellaini and baines to stay. Seems chance of getting Naismith for free as player contracts will be no longer. Any more players worth getting from rangers ed ? {Ed024's Note - Naismith will do for me

Ed and fellow regulars,
I'm a bit confused dot com,
corn beef hash tag.

How many Degsy's do we have?

There is Degsybaldy, formerly Degsy
and there is a new Degsy and there is
Degsybluenose, who may be one of
the above.

Should we all change our sign ins to
Degsy to save confusion!?!

Big C Degsy formerly known as Big C

15 Jun 2012 13:36:06
All this about moyes is starting to annoy me now. why would he want to leave a team that he has built and are just a few players short of top six in the league. i would be surprised if he did leave. It all comes to the the transfer budget i dont think moyes cares about a big pay rise all he wants is to be told that there will be some money to spend this summer thats all so come on bill make this happen.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Whats the point of a huge pay rise for Moyes if he's no cash to spend? And will he not wonder why he wasnt offered pay rise before spurs were touted as interested?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Bill doesnt like spending any of the 120m profit he's sitting on - let's hope he sees which way this can go and gives moyes some backing

Heis one of the highest paid in the league now it wont be for money if he leaves

the talksport person Ian Abrahams, his chum Alan Brazil and the Daily mirror who are closely linked by their chief sports reporter to talksport seem to have clubbed together on wednesday night to push the fact (not rumour) that Moyes was already at Spurs. This triggered a massive gamble on Moyes at one bookies in paricular. Talksport and Brazil seem to constantly push a certain bookmaker. Is it too much to believe that some level of scam has gone on. While it is annoying to have talksport and the mirror constantly trying to unsettle Everton, this goes beyond that. we have already threatened legal action but this goes beyond false claims if poor pundits have been duped out of large amounts of money for the benefit of talksport and their sponsors {Ed001's Note - Sly Sports do the same with their 'rumours', it is disgusting, SSN should be reporting on what has happened, not speculating on what might.}

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Errm - my thoughts too - since I stuck a largish (for me!) bet on everton to finish top 6 next year after reading on here that the Naismith deal was 'done'! Hoping that one still comes off :)

Stop worrying guys.

Moyes is not going anywhere

We may struggle getting Pienaar as the new Spuds manager may want to keep him, it is up to Pienaar, if he wants to come then he can force a move, simple as that

we should not go for martinez he was lucky to not get relegated with wigan he is pathetic when Christmas comes we would be 16th in the premier league WE SHOULD NOT HAVE HIM AT GOODISON.

BIG JELLA

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Why not get joint managers to replace Moyes maybe the likes of NEVILLE/BIG DUNC. Who we have already.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why u even talking about him.
Moyes will be our manager next season

Agree0 Disagree0

When Christmas comes we are still 16th under Moyes LOL.

Don't worry, Moyes isn't going, aiming for that job at United, and wouldn't risk that for Spuds, who seem contempt to sack their manager for finishing 4th. Reckon AVB will be Spurs manager, I just hope Moyes threatens the board of leaving and maybe stump up some cash.

15 Jun 2012 05:05:08
Moyes said only recently that he would
not want someone to come if after him
and reap the reward of all the hard work
done when he has still to win silverware.
It seemed clear that signing a forward
like Jelavic who can convert chances put
a new spring in his step, so after the way
the season finished it would seem a strange
moment to leave a ship which is more
than afloat. Roll on August.

this site has just been taken over by rumours about moyes leaving.. Moyes is away watching the euros and will be part of their analyst team. Therefore all this agreement lark is complete rubbish. why would he spend 10 years trying to build a decent team, just to leave us when we are on a verge of a top 5 team. any transfer rumours ed? {Ed024's Note - Naismith and pineaar still likely
