I'd imagine that YNWA will be played tomorrow before the match vs. Newcastle. I think all clubs did it yesterday, and Reading did today. Also, I think we would have done it even if other clubs didn't, due to the fact that not only is it our city, but there would, no doubt, have been Toffee supporters who lost a familiy member at Sheffield Wednesday on the day.

I totally agree with you Keith ad all Evertonians who are saying we should play the Liverpool FC 'anthem'. It is only a song after all.

The problem is so many of us associate the song with misery. How many times have you heard it at the end of another derby defeat and the RS are rubbing or noses in it.

It will look terrible if we don't play it.

Should play it it will show we are not as bitter as they think amongst other things ie huge show of respect

Agree0 Disagree0

I am bitter

After all the premieship clubs played ynwa it would not look good if it wasnt played tomorrow night. Its a one off and lets face it its not about football rivalry its about the systems attack on the people of merseyside the anthom becomes symbollock of the 96 who died its just a respect thing so lets do it after all they played z cars at anfield. jtt96. coyb. thgfest

Believable4 Unbelievable1

How about we have a minutes applause tomorrow and save playing you'll never walk alone until the derby? It's only a few weeks away and would be far more symbolic if both clubs did it together to show their stance on the corrupt powers that be who orchestrated the whole cover up in the first place.

so theres rumours moyes has let rip at fellani if this sparks his exit then so be it .I believe Fellani ego is getting to big but if he goes and Moyes gets 30 mill for him then id be happy as i feel Moyes will replace him twice over with that money no one is bigger than the club so if he thinks he is i say bye bye then .stef the blue

Believable7 Unbelievable1

I'm glad he's got 4yrs left on his contract, don't want another pienaar situation on our hands, slap a price tag of 30mil and let the bidding start... I'd prefer to keep him tho

Spot on Stef, no one is bigger than our club

I think Moyesee is pretty close though.

If, heaven forbid, Fellaini does move on, I'd prefer it if he went to one of the continental clubs and away from the premier league all together. I'd also hope he doesn't damage his cult status at Everton by sulking and manufacturering a move away ala lescott.

I see it's not taken long for the fellaini rumours start with the press and papers. 30m seems about right if we do sell him. i just hope all this doesn't dampen the teams form. Remember what happened last time a player said he wanted to go (lescott) we lost 6-1 to arsenal and the confidence was gone. We don't know what happens behind closed doors but im sure Moyes will know how to handle it.

A lot of you will hate me for saying this...but reality is, Fellaini looks set to leave in either January or the summer now that both Man Utd, Chelsea and numerous other top European clubs wish to buy him,. Chelsea have also come out and said they want to test Everton's patience with Fellaini by putting in a £30 million bid in, and that to be honest sound a good deal, as we could bring more world class players such as, Holtby and snatch Joao Moutinho from under Spurs noses or we could even go for a keeper, maybe even get a bright talent looking right back or even Micah Rochards. What do you think Ed and fellow blues?

EtidAaron {Ed025's Note - we will have to wait and see aaron...the ball is in moyes court, if he wants him to go to bring in other players, then thats his call...otherwise he will be staying..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Love your optimism Ed and as you know I normally am too but I hate to say it but unfortunately we will lose him before the start of next season, lets hope he gives us the best season yet and we can trust in Moyes to bring another in, on a good note though we will command top dollar as he has a few years in his contract. We simply wont be able to pay him 150k per week, unless of course an arab comes in

Degsycool {Ed025's Note - the fact is degsy..that no one player is bigger than the club, if he does go..then we move on, its no use crying about it, we have to trust that the sort of money we would get will be invested in the team, and allow us to bring in 2 or 3 quality stars..

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct Ed

If we got 30 million for Fellaini that would be great!! I think it all depends on where we finish in the league this season, if we finish top 4 I think he stays and helps us through the qualifiers where we will receive big money.
If we don't finish top 4 he leaves for big money, either way were going to get a lot of money next summer!
No-one is bigger than Everton, wouldn't bother me if he went if he doesn't want to be here. Could you imagine what Moyes would bring in with 30 Million!?

MikeTheBlue {Ed025's Note - 3 top quality players i expect..

Agree0 Disagree0

If he must go then so be it. To buy Felly would and should be very expensive as there isn't a player like him. 35mil should start the bidding. Your nothing would make me happier than him turning around and stating that it was a mistake and wants to spend a few more years trying to get us silverware. Can't see it happening though.
