Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

17 Apr 2016 19:42:59
Are there any fans on everton rumours page that think Martinez should manage the team next season? I would like to hear why they think he'll turn our perfomances around. I'm asking because I can't see him getting us up into the top 6 next season. But maybe others can see light at the end of this dark tunnel. I agree he has done well in the 2 cups this season but that's it. Our league position is shambolic and it is our bread and butter.

Hi Joe mc. I'm in too minds about Rm. Firstly he has done great in the cups as you said, but I'm not sure about people saying league is bread and butter and more important. Weve been around the top 6 for a decade with Moyes, only 1 cup final, 2 cup semis. We were all desperate to win a trophy, I still am! I would take days out at Wembley, fighting for cups than fighting for 6th and europa football, but we should be challenging top4 and the cups not one or the other. He's building a good team, which is badly underachieving and he has to take the flak. But at the same time, I believe we've only had coleman, jags, stones, and baines on the pitch at the same time once this year. Our home form is awful, as too slow and predictable. But the games we should have won, at home to palace, wba, Stoke, West ham, and away bmouth, Norwich and Chelsea off the top of my head was infuriating. Some of the posts on here about mourinho, pellegrini and wenger replacing him are laughable. I think Koeman, howe or stubbs would be a better choice if we get rid. But either way il be supporting the blue boys with everything I've got! Coyb.

{Ed025's Note - thats a great post rush and the sort of sentiment im sure we all want, unfortunately this is the real world where football is a results business and as much as i like bobby as a person as a manager he sucks, in a perfect world managers like him would be in the top jobs and winning 10-8 would be the norm, but unfortunately for him its a results business and ours have not been up to scratch to say the least...for me he has to go mate..

From the 22nd of November until the 3rd of Feb in the league we won one game, away to Newcastle, the looping header from Cleverly at the end (lucky really) . The games we won before and after that period was home to Villa and home to Newcastle. Since the 1st March we haven't won a league game. That's just simply inexcusable. Think that works out at 4 league wins since the 22nd Nov against Newcastle twice, Villa and Stoke.

I understand where you are coming from in regards to a cup final Rushpalmer. I think we would all surrender a top 6 place for a trophy. Martinez has done an excellent job in the cups this season but we are not performing well at all.

We may have been unlucky not to pick up 3pts in a few games earlier in the season but we've also picked up a few points when we could easily have been beaten. I want Martinez to do well but since he's taken charge we have been on a steady decline in terms of results and performances. I'm worried about if he can turn it around where will we be before that happens, Maybe the Championship.

Ed is right about this being a results business and for 2 seasons now we havn't been getting good results. I believe Martinez will be here next season but I also think if there is not a massive improvement by December then he should be replaced. The club is moving forward on every level except the senior team so maybe a fresh face managing the senior team will bring fresh ideas to the team that will help them perform better.

I keep expecting us to get that 1 result that changes our season but i've been waiting too long now and know its not going to happen. If we win the FA Cup it'll be by grinding out wins in semi and final. We are not going to beat any of the 3 teams left comfortably as we are not performing well enough to beat any EPL.

Interesting post from Rushpalmer pointing out that under Moyes we were always fighting for 6th and yet only a couple of semis and he would take that. presumably as progress? Then he points out that this season we have only had Colemen, Jags, Stones and Baines on the pitch together once this season. That bit made me laugh. all Moyes signings! Enough said.

When I grew up there was nothing more exiting than the FA CUP and then being a cup manager was exeptable as long as you did not get relegated as RM manmaged at Wigan.
Today in these days of money the Prem is everything wheather you like it or not. I would therefore rather be trying to get into the Champions league every season and finishing high in the league over the cup.
You can with the cup with luck you cannot do well in the Prem with luck you need a lot more.
Moyes was a consistant over achiever and martinez is a consistant under achiever and failure.
I cannot be at Wembley on Saturday for the first time since 66 due to health problems and I will turn my back on the tv when Martinez leads us out because he makes me feel ashamed of my club. That said I will watch the game and hope that he is gone by Monday morning.
I want us to win but if we lose will be happy he is almost certainly gone from my club, let's move on from this lousy manager.

Hey people

Do you see John Stones still being at everton next season? If not were do you think he will end up?

Being a Man Utd fan I want to see him with us he still has a lot to learn but he oozes potential but the price has to right 25-30m in my eyes but we know much English players are overpriced.

Also what do you think about being linked with Michael Carrick a very good player but if you want to make an improvement is going after a 34 yr old the right choice.

It sells newspapers and gets people to click on web pages I suppose Guernsey. Not to mention the cash made by the bookies, I read that JM has gone down from 50/ 1 to 12/ 1 to be the next manager. They are certainly pulling the wool over the eyes of fans!

It's not the most reputable paper out there for a start. I would admire Moshiri for his ambition if he did try to get Mourinho in but I think it would be coup of the century for him to actually pull it off. It would also take Man City-esque kind of spending with him at the helm and I think moshiri has a steadier build up in mind. I see an up and coming manager and building over the next few years being more likely if Martinez does in fact go.

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - he has actually come out and said he would consider a challenge for his next appointment gibbo...and the way we are playing there is no bigger challenge in the world mate..

17 Apr 2016 13:49:31
Lots and lots of posts today. So the start of mine is on a previous page. answer to BlueJohnuns. yes Barcelona rely on 3 goalscorers. We rely on 2. Barcelona can lose any of their 3 and replace them no problem with their choice of many. Our 2 goalscorers have scored a fraction of the goals the Barcelona 3 have scored and how do you think we will replace Barkley or Lukaku should either get injured, lose form or go elsewhere to ply their trade. because that is my main fear. I have a feeling we would suffer more than Barcelona should we lose one of our key players don't you?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

17 Apr 2016 14:10:55
And I meant to add. look at the two tables. I think Barcelona are top of theirs so can afford to lose one of their 3 main goalscorers and still score probably 90 and be in the top 2. We are already in 11th hovering above the relegation zone and that is with both of them. Imagine not having Rom's or Barkley's goals. because that scenario is likely.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2016 19:06:09
Degsy you are answering your own question. If three are taken off and replaced three more come in. It's still three players that are scoring the goals!

I've said many times that we need three strikers in the squad and we need another left winger and someone to understudy Barkley. However a squad also needs players like Besic, Barry and McCarthy.

What can't have though is everyone rushing up front to score 5 or 6 goals to get his quota.

At Barcelona Neymar, Messi and Saurez attack with pace and occasionally they are joined by Iniesta and Raketic. When they play with their possession football its no different to what we do but again its about getting it to those front players to get the goals.

The big difference though is that when they lose the ball they chase to get that ball back and hunt in packs.

I hate Saurez but you watch when he loses the ball he is determined to help to get it back. Lukaku stands there with his arms out moaning at people who have nothing to do with him losing the ball.

This, this chasing the ball instead of space is so important and 1 billion times more important than Besic getting 5 goals in 38 games in a season. 50-60 goals scored in a season matched with 20-25 conceded is what we are after not a couple of extra ones from the ones that help to stop them and give the ball to the ones that score them.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2016 20:29:20
You still don't see my point mate. If we were in a position to have 3 players of the quality of the Barcelona 3, or even to replace Barkley or Lukaku, then I would be quite relaxed. Barcelona have 1 more main scorer than us and I am sure they also have a couple of youngsters and squad players who could step up to the mark. Maybe they could even do with only 2 goalscorers for a while? They would still be a top top side. As for us, we had a team 3 seasons ago that had goals spread throughout. Most of the players were chipping in with 5 or 6 and some were in double figures. Slowly, RM has replaced some of these players. In Lukaku he bought a real scorer who would score in any team. He had Barkley come through the ranks. Other than that, he has in the main purchased players who do not score. Some of these are experienced players and others younger. but none have scored more than 3 a season. Some less than that. This means should Lukaku break his leg or Barkley do his hamstring, then we are suddenly going to be scoring a lot less. Yes I understand we are conceding goals left right and centre. Yes I know we are actually scoring more than in previous seasons. But we can't get away from the fact that things could suddenly turn worse. What if Lukaku does force a move? Jeez, we are in 11th now. We have our worst ever home record. We are hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone. take Lukaku's goals away and where would we be? Which other top center forward who bangs in 20 to 30 goals a season will want to come to Everton? Which creative midfielder will come and give us Barkley's assists and goals should he get injured or leave? When a work load is spread, people are replaceable. When one or two key personnel are the main players. and they leave or stop playing. you are in deep trouble. That is my point. If we had been signing players who score the odd few goals, then there would not be a problem but I can guarantee that Besic, Cleverly, McCarthy, Barry, Kone and Deulefeu will score less than 10 all season. Lennon has already exceded his normal quota. Mirallas seems to have dried up. as does Coleman and Baines. That's 9 outfield players not scoring. It may be partly down to tactics? It may be other reasons. but to me it is a worry. I also heard that we are interestedin Carrick. That would be another addition. 4 years ago we had Pienaar and Osman banging in about 7 each a season from midfield. We had Arteta who could score. Cahill as a forward/ midfielder scoring and the 2 full backs chippef in with a few. If we had had Lukaku then, we would have had some team. Right now he is about 80% of our goals and that worries me. I will shut up about it now.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2016 21:43:29
Osman has been replaced by Barkley and Pienaar by Mirallas of sorts.

Osman scored 5 and pienaar 4 in the season before Martinez.

Coleman, Baines, Pienaar, Osman Gibson all roughly a 1 in 10 average and all before Martinez and what we didn't have before but do now are players that get 10 or over. If they go we also now have money to go out there and get replacements. Every team in the EPL would suffer if they lost two of their most potent strike force.

I get that you are concerned over what might happen if x, y and z happens but the defending issue is happening now.

We are terrified at home with the crowd the way they are. We could score 5 goals every game but we would concede 6 every time as well!

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2016 22:20:36
At least you get my jist now. If we stick to Lukaku. his worth has to be 25 a season. If we end up selling him or he gets injured long term. who would sign for us that can knock in the goals. oh we signed Niasse. Maybe he can? Maybe the 30 million could be spent on more than one player? I don't know but I would be happier if we had more scorers in the team. And Mirallas has not really played this season. Only in fits and starts. I guess he is not an athletic, non scoring player. and likes forward passing too much! lol.

We're all seemingly in a bit of a negative spiral at the moment so I've just been trying to have an objective look at our results this season. All competitions: played 43, won 17, drawn 15, lost 11. Of course it's not as good as we'd like and it's skewed by the fact that a lot of those wins (though not all - remember we deservedly beat Chelsea, Southampton and City) have been against poor opposition. The win percentage is nearly 40%, which I must say is a lot higher than I thought. The obvious issue that has bothered us all for the past two seasons, but especially this season, is how much better our record would be if Roberto had even half a sense of the importance of defending properly. The number of soft goals and late goals we've given away is unacceptable and needs to be sorted. I don't think RM is capable of that - it's not been any better in the second half of the season than it was in the first - and for that reason I think he should be replaced but let's not focus so much on those negatives that that's all we see. We've all, understandably, got very emotional lately but my point is that emotion can make things seem even worse than they are.

Ed025: so, to compensate for not winning a trophy ourselves for two decades, we take pride in denying our Merseyside rivals a trophy?
I know it's difficult in that specific situation, but have we - a proud club with great history and passionate fanbase - sunk to that level as a measure of "success"?
I can understand that feeling after a few sherbets while wallowing in an immediate post-defeat depression, but as our central pilosophy - really? We might as well change the club motto from "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" to "Schadenfreude".

Hey all.
Just a quick one really.
The papers yes, are supposedly saying we are looking to scupper man utd, but the major story reads that he's told friends he's going to Man Utd and looking to bring an Argentinian with him. So to be honest as much as I would really like him to come I'm not holding my breath.
Also please can we as Everton fans please show a little respect to Martinez. I'm sure he has everton's best interest at heart with his thoughts and actions and please remember this is a mans livelihood. But I hate to see us acting like yobs like that plonker yesterday invading the pitch. I hope he gets banned for life. I think there needs to be change and Mr Kenwright and Mr Moshiri are not fools. So I really don't believe we need a witch hunt and banners. I'm just waiting to see the first pitchfork enter Goodison.

Just a post to ed002. I have said this before so I apologise for repeating myself but I find ed002's comments towards us Everton find absolutely disgraceful. (especially to billsadoozy on rumours page)

Always negative and slagging us off because we have an opinion and we use this site to vent our frustration.

Surely this site was set up so information and banter between football fans and the 'eds' role is just to monitor content and give opinion on fact. NOT to give out at fans for having a rant, especially after a poor season like we are having.

If I spoke to my customers (which is what we are) then I would not have any customers and my business would fail.

Every other ed I have seen is down to earth and respectful and allows us to post happy posts or venting posts.

in the post to billsadoozy, ed002 compared us to Liverpool fans for moaning and snagged 'northern' fans. This obviously means you are a southern softie who will sit quietly while your club drifts. I'm sure I heard arsenal fans giving out to wenger and Chelsea fans moaning. So not just us Everton or Northern fans who moan when things aren't right.

I'm sorry for the essay and rant but we, as Everton fans and football fans are entitled to our opinion. I am always positive at the first whistle. But anyone who knows anything about football can see something is not right at Everton and we are looking for the best solution and to keep is positive for this pivotal week.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - The site is here to discuss football transfer rumours although many of the Everton fans (a) have no interest in anything related to transfer rumours (b) have no interest interest in how the club is doing when they are making progress in the right direction, (c) want instant gratification and expect everything to change overnight after an Iranian businessman buys shares in the club, and (d) want to twist everything single thing that happens so that they can abuse the manager. So, you rather miss the point of why the site is here.

You are not my customers, and I have simply explained things as they are. You of course seem to still be struggling to understand that. I really don't see the relevance of the other editors being "down to earth".

You are near identical to both Liverpool fans and Manchester United fans in your ability to spew hate over the players, the owners and the manager of the club - so the comparison to both Liverpool fans (who are of course very happy right now) and the toxic fans of Manchester United (who have done more harm than good to the club) is both clear and correct. It is a northern thing. I am hardly a "southerner" myself. "Soft" yes but I need to put some effort in to lose a little weight.

I appreciate that many northern fans rue the passing of the days of the cloth-capped, hobnailed-booted, chimney sweep making his way across the dirty cobbled streets in the rain, rattle in hand, to cheer on his team at Goodison on a Saturday afternoon after a pint of wallop with their chums in the local tap room. The modern day supporter is typically a shaven-headed, lager-swilling, pot-bellied, tattooed, knuckle-dragging oaf that takes pleasure from going from post-to-post on these pages trolling the questions and comments from others. That is what we are plagued with on this page.

There is no problem at all with constructive criticism and suggestions about how things can be put right. There is a problem with simply spewing hate.}

You lost me a bit then Geoff when you berated ed002 for having a go at us and then proceeded to do exactly the same back to him by name-calling. When Ed002 posts replies he can be quite cutting, but as I understand it that it's just his manner of speaking, so I don't take it to heart.

I can also understand his frustration at the constant hate on the site. I mean people saying they want their team to lose and that they aren't renewing their season tickets is just spoilt. I used to call it 'kopite behaviour' but apparently our fans are just as bad.

As Ed doesn't have any feelings towards Everton or the results, he can see the bigger picture. As a club we are moving forward (just not on the pitch) . Therefore when idiots are constantly focussing on the negatives it's probably difficult to understand.

I must take offence at your very generalised comments.
Let's start at the top.
A) it is a transfer rumours site but also has a banter page for general venting comments.
B) every fan enjoys their club moving in the right direction. You can't say we don't care, we had years of turmoil under agent Johnson and Mike Walker, smith, etc. We just want to enjoy some success for a change. Plus most fans, rightly or wrongly have an opinion on how the club is run and that goes for all clubs.
C) we do not expect instant gratification or everything to change but we just wanna explore options now the club allegedly may have money. We do not even try to know the ins and outs of football business, we are merely speculating. It is what normal fans do.
D) there may be some fans who just want to dig at the manager and have from day one and others will support him regardless of what he does. It is the people in the centre who make informed decisions based on what they see and hear that have turned against Bobby and the majority of fans want him gone. I like his attacking football but defensively he struggles and some comments after the game are just strange.

You mention Liverpool and United fans spewing hate but no mention of arsenal fans wanting wenger out or Chelsea fans moaning when Jose struggled or spurs when they had gross or when they had 8 points around Christmas a while back.
All fans want the best for their club and sometimes they stay positive and sometimes they spout abuse, it goes for all clubs even Charlton and Leeds and Portsmouth. There is no geographical line to frustration .

Now on to possibly the worst paragraph of the piece. I am surprised if this doesn't get more vitriol. How can you say the modern football fan is lager swilling, shaven headed, pot bellied etc. that is an absolute bollox stereotype from 10-20 years ago. Do you ever go the game? A lot of work has been done by all clubs to widen the fan base and include more families into the ground. You cannot say what people look like who post in here, just as we don't know what you look like.
No one wants to go back to the old days as football has developed, in my opinion for the better, as entertainment but everyone is still entitled to an opinion, whether you agree or not.

You say we are not your customers but you are in a position of relative responsibility as an ambassador of the company who run the site and as such whether you agree or not or want to come slap one of us, you need to control your emotions and be genial and polite, not abusive.

I do agree that spewing hate is unacceptable and an opinion needs to be explained and constructive criticism is the way forward. Sometimes emotions get the best of us fans. I'm sure the same goes for whichever side or sport you support.
Been fun.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - (A) There is a difference between "banter", "venting and abuse. I delete large number of posts on some of the pages which are no more than abuse. (B) If that were true then why do I see posts as recently as yesterday from both Everton and Manchester United supporters wanting their teams to lose? You are not in touch with reality. (C) I have explained the situation in respect of Everton but many of the supporters seem to think that this Iranian business man would arrive the following day to cut the grass at Goodison and then sack the manager. That is the instant gratification they want and you can easily read the posts to these pages to substantiate that. (D) You clearly don't bother reading the posts. There is a constant stream of abuse. (E) There has been a small majority of Arsenal fans who have bleated about Wenger for about 18 months, there is not a sustained stream of abuse. The new generation of Arsenal fans are a step change from the fans of old but they are not as focused on abuse like fans of the northern sides are. The Chelsea fans generally stayed loyal to Mourinho, but again there was a small number who made vocal efforts to move him on - as with Spurs - a small percentage of the fans. I have noticed a trait from the Liverpool-based sides to deflect any criticism and try and make it about another side (typically Chelsea). This is what you are doing and it is cringe worthy and embarrassing, although not unexpected, to read. (F) I am well aware of what football fans are like. SHLSPBTKDO is an ideal descriptive of the generic fan. (G) I rarely go to games. I will attend one or two early season (usually European games at Chelsea or Marseille) to catch up with folks. I might attend a Champions League game or similar later in the tournament depending where it is an my availability. I might do a couple of league games somewhere in Europe if I feel inclined. But certainly no more than that and this year less than most years. (H) You are not my customers and I am not an "ambassador" of the company who runs this site. I am simply one of the editors - a particularly humble one - who can provide information about some of the clubs, some of the people involved in the game and about interest in players that perhaps some of the other editors cannot. (I) I have no interest in "slapping" you - if that is what you are after there are some specialist web sites you can visit to get that gratification.}

First off I think ed002 is a Chelsea fan which would explain why he is so bloody miserable maybe he will be happier nxt year when there back on the rise (only pulling ye leg ed don't worry) . But it's not a transfer rumours site ed it is a Everton rumours/ banter site and the modern day supporters you refer to may very well be the Chelsea fans that you are describing it's defo not the Everton fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I am a supporter rather than a fan. I don't get concerned about results particularly and I am this miserable regardless of whether Chelsea are winning the league or not. The purpose of the site is "transfer" rumours. I appreciate that only a few of the Everton fans seem to be interested in such matters.}

17 Apr 2016 10:28:02
The only comment I said to ed was he was a southern softie. So yeah I apologise. Bit of tit for tat.

Your last paragraph states the problem. Ed has no affiliation to our club, whereas we we do anything for it so feelings do run high and sometimes things get said in heat of the moment.

{Ed002's Note - You should have dropped the "southern" and should have just said "softy" - that I would have taken on the chin - or chins as it were.}

Ed002: thanks for taking the time to post open and honest and informative replies to the rumours and banter. Knowing a little about your own attitudes and experiences in your own words - rather than just us posters guessing about allegiances, etc., based on what is "perceived" from the wording of your comments and replies - does help put matters into perspective. I can't begin to imagine how mind-numbingly challenging it is for you and your fellow Eds to sift through the mountains of dross that must get sent in. Any ordinary poster who thinks he'd do a better job surely has no real understanding of what is involved. Reading the same stuff over and over again can be bad enough as an ordinary reader/ poster, but at least readers can skip through the posts - whereas an Ed has to read and check and decide about every post in his inbox. I certainly prefer being a reader and a poster rather than an Ed.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks for the note Sid.}

See. There is a bit of a sense of humour, ed. That's better. I know some people post abuse. I personally don't and I suppose it's personal choice to read.

All I'd said is if was meant to be a transfer rumours page then drop the banter page.

I enjoyed the debate, ed and finally you show you are human with emotions and humour. Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - Human?}

As opposed to sounding like a robot with your factual emotionless responses. I suppose because we are Everton fans and show passion and probably expect all eds to feel the same.

{Ed002's Note - Most of the other Eds are florists in their day jobs and are easily distracted by bright and colourful things. To me it is simply a game.}

I keep reading posts on here saying we are under achieving and even pundits on TV say the same. However, I think we are in the position that reflects our squad. The league table does not lie. I believe RM inherited a truly great squad and added one or two very good players but also made some fundemental mistakes in the type of player he added. I have harped on and on about this and most disagree with me so I will try and put it another way. When he first came in, he bought Kone for 6 million. Ok he had a bad injury but at the time I pointed out his goal record was poor. He also had suffered injuries before joining us. He has scored 6 goals for us in 40 appearances. So far that's a million pounds a goal. RM recently signed Niasse for 13 million. I don't know much about him other than he is known for his work rate, his power and contribution to the team. He is not known for his goal scoring record. (13.5 million pounds remember) . RM also signed James McCarthy for 13 million pounds. Another great worker. He runs his socks off for the team and makes lots of last ditch tackles. He has played 85 times and scored 4 goals for us. Gareth Barry has played about 100 times for us and scored 3 goals. Works bloody hard though. Tom Cleverly is another. Works so hard but has scored less than one goal in ten games throughout his career. Besic cost only 4 million. But do people realise he has played over 150 professional games and scored a grand total of 3 goals in his career. Mori is one signing who does score goals for the position he plays. mostly from set pieces. He has 4 in 26 for us. The point I am labouring on about is that RM has spent an awful lot of money on players who do not score goals. Yes Barry was a free. oh no we had to pay a fee for him. and he is on over 6 million a year. As a team we have scored a lot. we just concede too many a lot of people tell me. This is true, but if your team is loaded with super fit, physical athletes who can run and run and stop the opposition most of the time. but cannot have the guile or quick feet to open up the opposition with a quick pass or a little turn, then eventually you will lose possession and the opposition will punish you. And I think that is exactly what happens to us. The likes of Barkley, Lennon, Deulofeu do lose the ball. as does Lukaku. this happens when we have just had about 5 minutes of constant possession without actually penetrating the oppositions defence. And bang. the other team scores. It has happened all season. Part of this is the tactics that he insists on using, but part is because all those players I listed. At a cost of around 50 million pounds. they contribute insufficient goals. Yes Lukaku scores more than his fair share as does Barkley. and Lennon has chipped in. Niasse may come good but his record is not that impressive. I know I am harping on about it, but like I said the league table does not lie. Villa got to the FA Cup final last season. The FA Cup does not paper over the cracks I am afraid. Even a new manager will need some new players. This squad is filled with runners and athletes and needs some guile and quick footed players.

I thought you were going to repeat yourself and go off on a rant about the lack of goalscorers in the team, but it was a great post. Firstly, the lack of goalscorers is an issue, I just don't think it's the main issue. Firstly, Bobby's tactics lead to us conceding, and as you quite rightly put it, crucially, the aforementioned players who don't score also don't provide us with killer passes or sly little interplay. I don't think we've had a player who can open up defences with a pass since Arteta left. But we miss the interplay and quick feet of Osman and Pienaar. Just those short passes in and around the box. None of the above mentioned players quite have that the way those two did. Just out of interest is there anybody that anyone can think of that we could buy to replace them?

But Degsy if we hadn't scored goals this season it would be a problem but we have and are one of the top scorers in our league. You're like bloody Martinez in that you only go on about goals.

Most teams have just three or four players that score the majority of goals. Try having a go at Barcelona for just having Saurez, Neymar and Messi.

Some good news at least yesterday, Moshiri present which indicates he's not leaving things to Bill whilst sunning himself in the south of France.
Huge investment will not be satisfied with how our 'Brand' is being tarnished added to core customer service dissatisfaction.
Not nice to talk about our team as a business but that's what it is and the reality is RM will be gone soon.

Never in my time and I an over 50 have I ever seen an everton fan run on the pitch to confront the manager.I don't agree with that kind of shite it only brings bad publicity and the media go onto a frenzy reporting negative headlines.What I will say is that's how its now become under Martinez he's got everyone so wound up to the point of people wanting to invade the pitch to try and make thete point. I don't condone it but can understand it.Its pure frustration.And in saying that I hope these Mourinho rumours today are not just rumours .

Very simple question. If Everton bring in Jose Mourinho, which players will want to leave Everton. Me personally I couldn't see anyone really wanting to leave if he came in. Thoughts?

Whoever the manager is next season, it's just as much a question of which players he will want to get rid of as of how many might not want to play under a particular manager.
