Qatari government want to buy a Premier league club, Is this the time for uncle Bill to put his salesmans hat on. I don't know if he really wants to sell or just looking for investment, this is certainly a chance for him to get us to the next level, I don't like the Man City and Chelsea thing of throwing untold millions into a team, but if you want to compete at the highest level you take the money. Bill has to sell at some time is this his time, maybe they'll let him stay on as chairman. I dare say nothing will come of it. but could be interesting.

Looks like the Spuds mate, the owner has stated he owns Spurs football tops already and they will probably look at a club in the capital city

Just in case though, please god let it be us

If they did take us over though, I'm sure there would be a problem with UEFA rules, because they also own PSG. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if they were to take over, and we would subsequently win the league, we could not compete in the champions league, unless of course PSG is forced to drop out, and I don't think either club would be happy with that

From Qatar. This is untrue. the government no longer buy clubs, investments are fine, but definitely no buying. Also, if it were an individual Qatari, I would think they would buy a club closer to London. Qatari's Love london.

For the Posters who aren't absolutely delighted with our Baby faced Assassin, if you have Play back facility play back the Barkley goal celebrations. After all the huggin and lovin, Baby face walks back to the half way line as happy as a dog with two di*ks!
He's a true blue this one and I for one am 100% certain he will become a true legend at this club.

I agree Mushy it's about time we had someone like him in the team. Yes he will get booked most games, but God it's good to see the energy he brings.

I've asked this before, but no-one seems to have any info.
What has happened to Junior since he returned from his loan spell in Norway during the Summer?
He was registered in our Premier League squad (but NOT in our Europa League squad) at the start of this season, but he hasn't even played for the U-21 team (as an overage player) let alone got near the matchday squad for any of our Premier League matches this season.
The silence from the club is deafening - conspriacy theories anyone?
;-)

Sid. A supporter tweeted him the other day to ask what was happening. Reply was injured and back in training this week. He thanked the fan for his concern

Just read this:
"Celtic will look at Everton's Francisco Junior after taking the midfielder on trial this week. Junior played under Ronny Deila at the Norwegian's former club Stromsgodset, with the midfielder scoring once in 12 appearances between February and August."

We play away to Southampton on Saturday and, while they've now lost five matches in a row, they haven't played that poorly. So, don't anyone think we're in for an easy three points - not only will they be looking to get the result in front of their home crowd, but we'll need to perform consistently better throughout the match than we have been doing imho. That means playing with energy, no defensive mistakes, clinical finshing when we get scoring opportunities, no ill-discipline that gives the referee card-brandishing opportunities, no excuses about tiredness. That's not too much to ask for surely - or is it knowing Everton? ;-)
