After todays showing i think velios and drenthe should start the next league game

I think we should start with the side that finished the match today, we improved so much when moyes made the changes. {Ed025's Note - that works for me!..

We would beat west brom with that side, i feel confident about the city match after today as well. {Ed025's Note - if we stay injury free, and play with the attacking flair we shown at times today...i fear no-one!..

A good cup run would be nice ed

We ended the match 4-4-2 and did the business! Everyone knows that's the way forward for us. Come on Moysey, get it done. {Ed025's Note - david is the only one who cant see it!..

Who else was disappointed with Fellaini today, looked lazy and bored it was strange !
For the cup game, i would honestly drop him and play a midfield of Gueye, Barkley, Rodwell and Drenthe. Give Coleman, Osman and Cahill a rest for the City game and play that midfield with Vellios and Saha ( heard Saha should be involved for the cup game )

I think fellani wants out! Hope im wrong! Its reported that arsenal want him but the way things are going we will be in a better pisition than arsenal so a move there coud very well be a sidewards step at most! Which arteta will soon see! {Ed025's Note - i hope he stays mate...but if he does go, we want top dollar for him!, i think arsenal would be a backwards step..

Ed who would be your ideal replacement for Arteta?
Mine would be Danny from Zenit St Petersburg.
He's great to run dribble and run with the ball and he makes loads of dangerous runs into the box. {Ed001's Note - I thought Barkley had already replaced him personally.}

I mean short term so barkley has more time to improve and mature
Plus, personally I think of barkley as a replacement for cahill more so than as a replacement for arteta, like playing barkley behind the striker when cahill is gone because he's over 30 now {Ed001's Note - Arteta spent most of his time injured, I just don't see any need to replace him myself. Better to give a few kids a chance to gain some experience and use the Arteta money to reduce the debt.}

I agree ed, arteta hardly made an impact in his last two seasons, we have plenty of cover in midfield

There is life after arteta, we proved that today!! {Ed025's Note - i think he may have made a bad decision by leaving....i hope so..

Wasn't the main reason Arteta left was for European championship football?

After last Saturday it would be unfair for anybody to lose their place today, they all played fairly well, apart from Billy. He wasnt terrible, he actually played well at a few stages in the game, but if I had to pick a scapegoat for the boot, he would be it. Hes not a "winger" and will never be one, he looks totally lost out there.I still have faith in him, but its getting harder, it really is.

Billy needs a more central role to get the best out of him

Moyes rates billy, he has scored some wonder goals, but overall he doesn't do enough for me

He has started again, moyes certainly gives billy enough chances

I just think that gueye, drenthe and cahill are better options for us in the attacking positions, billy might be sold in january {Ed025's Note - unless he steps up to the plate...he will be!..

Yes, agree with ya's, I think unless bilyaletdinov makes a good impact this season it could be his last because next season he will be in the final year of his contract so if he wants to stay here he's going to have to step up to the plate !
