Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

18 Jun 2017 22:38:03
I am feeling pretty confident about our targets this Summer. I know we missed a few last summer but to be fair I think we went in a little high, whereas this year we are more realistic. The players we are targeting are players who will come to us and not whinge about champions league. I suppose if you want top players you have to earn the right by getting champions league.

But in saying that the players we are looking at will definitely improve us. And with what we have already signed and what want to sign we have a real chance next season of being competitive. I can genuinely see us getting Sigurdssen and Keane. Then another striker if Rom gets his way.

Well done to the club, especially if you can get the fans excited even though you have let your star striker leave. I take my hat off to the recruitment team.

Great post Toffee Ace.

I won't pretend to know much about the players we are targeting outside of the Prem, but there certainly seems to be an air of confidence in the club where they are concerned. Really looking forward to the start of the season!

Sigurddson (spelling? ) would be a major signing for me, just imagine the midfield with him in it. Mouth watering.

I think we're following the model of buying young highly rated players and hoping they turn into champions league players, very similar to the Spurs model, which worked well for them. I'm very happy with what's happening at the moment, such a refreshing change.

19 Jun 2017 14:40:17
It's also quite similar to what Atletico Madrid do.

Well if we emulate the success of Spurs or atletico CToffee then I'm more than happy!

Hey everbody! Last summer I fell out of love with football a bit. I am not a local Everton fan but I have been obsessed since I can remember. I am now 35 and remember the Wimbledon/ Coventry games all to well. Last transfer deadline day felt like the horrendous days of failed promises, but January re-sparked my passion for our Toffees. Anyways not to bore you much more, I am still nervous about Romelu leaving but I truly believe we will be stronger next season with or without him. Pickford, I am told by Preston fans is insanely good, he was on loan there. And my contacts with Burnley fans makes me confident about Keane. Onwards and upwards my friends.

Ed wit the signings and possible additions to come has the Rooney interest gone or is there still a chance he might sign?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - koeman has said he would like him smit but rooneys insistence that he wont take a pay cut makes it highly unlikely, things could change i suppose mate but im not holding my breath..

18 Jun 2017 18:15:14
see that nutter cundy saying kane is twice the player than lukaku.
sorry that lukaku won't sign a new contract, but he is the real deal, kane is at best, a jorneyman haveing a perpul patch, kane gives overated a bad name.

18 Jun 2017 19:20:51
That is incredibly harsh at best mate.

18 Jun 2017 19:41:09
Er, really? Kane hasn't consistently not only scored goals but also run his backside off for the team. For my money he's worth more than Lukaku.

That said, it's like comparing Shearer with Sheringham. Totally different players in terms of what they offer.

18 Jun 2017 21:30:22
Have to disagree Jcw give me Kane over Lukaku any Day of the week.

Agree3 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 21:37:00
I would love Lukaku to stay but if I had a straight choice, Kane is the more complete player.

And hit by the sun! Delirious! 😳.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2017 09:37:26
On the Stella? More like crack. Kanes a proper player Rom is great but come on. Plus he doesn't try to orchestrate a transfer every international break. Kane is a better pro all round.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2017 10:13:08
I think at present Kane is the better all round strike and he is at his peak and in a better team, I feel lukaku hasn't peaked and has so much more potential to be the best or at least one of the best strikers in the world, time will tell, but if he moves to Chelsea we will all See how good he actually is with world class players, saying that it could all back fire and all his weaknesses could make him a stand out player if the team fails to win and then it's a whole different ball game, he will have pressure and the fans on his back, can he cope or will he then want to leave like he does now.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2017 12:12:14
I'd take Kane over Rom any day of the week. Scored more goals than Rom and missed a number of games due to injury.

The difference in attitude is massive as well.

I'm just loving how we are doing business this summer straight to the point and deal done. It makes total sense buying before we sell as weir makes the point that we won't be held to ransom getting replacements . The future is bright.

If Ross signs his contract an stays. a lot of blues are going to be eating there words. As when he scores glawdys end an yas are all singing singing his name.

Just a thought.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

18 Jun 2017 17:06:17
I doubt it Jimbob. Because if he does sign his £100,000 a week contract he's not going to be sat on the bench. If he's lucky. He's put himself in the situation of being 'surplus to requirement' Sadly he's stagnating at Everton due to the fact he's not improving. So unless you're going to sit there and blame the management and backroom staff. He has only himself to blame.
I think you're emotionally attatched. Maybe you're his cousin or maybe he signed you're shirt last season. But the point is if he wants first team football then he's going to have to join a club lower down the division because no-one in the top half needs him.

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Jun 2017 17:12:20
The thing that's annoying most blues is the fact that he isn't signing. If he did then there would be no words to eat.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 19:22:52
Agree with yah there toffee an there shouldn't be any words to eat. But t let's be honest the last 3 seasons him n lukaku have been first names on the sheet. I remember when kiloeman took him out the team every one of us had something to say about it. Just my opinion I suppose not my cousin nor signed my shirt I have every right to express my opinion as anyone else mowfee, an my opinion in he will still bring a lot to the team if he plays.

For that reason I would keep him as to let him go for 20million is a big gamble, not on about his potential and I no he needs to be more consistent. But I do think there is a place in this team for him.

When all these discussions started an he scored that goal his celebration was boss an we all loved it.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 19:43:19
Barkley is the most frustrating player. There's a huge amount of talent within him but he hasn't kicked on despite being in and around the first team for years. Would love for him to stay and watch him flourish but if it hasn't happened by now.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 21:20:34
Barkley may come good if he has some quality competition for his position, something he hasn't really had. Rest assured if he goes to Tottenham as is being reported he is going to have to perform to win a place in that team.

18 Jun 2017 21:45:50
Ross to Spurs had 2 words written all over it - Moussa Sissoko! Us or West Ham that is his decision.

18 Jun 2017 12:43:48
Is it possible Rom could stay? Seems there's trouble at mill down at Chelsea, apparently Conte thinks they can get better than him. It's some nomark d. o. f. called Michael Emenalo who's pushing for him (the guy who likes to do business in the tunnel when he thinks no ones watching) so they'll have to back Conte or he'll walk. So long as we don't do a straight player exchange with United. Chris Smalling and Ashley Young for Rom where's he going to go? Imagine all these signings plus Rom. Happy days. What a time to be a blue eh!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

18 Jun 2017 17:16:12
He is under contract for two more years. We don't have to sell and the vibe from the club is neither do we want to. So it's very possible he could stay, but the player wants out so if the valuation is agreeable then he will go. For me 90% gone, 10% staying.

Had anyone really watched the match last night and just watched Sandros movement off the ball, you would have seen why RK wanted him. The guy is always on the move and all it needed at times was the right pass. He will do for me.

Can some people just grow up and stop making childish remarks about Rom and Ross. They both played their part in where we are now. Rom was always going to go and personally I feel Ross is being sold a load of BS by his agent. We are now signing exciting young players and things are looking good, if the two R's are not going to be part of it then so be it, we need players who are 100% committed to the club and taking us to the next level. COYB.

Spot on.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 11:35:54
I agree with some on here that say RB is a quality player who has still to fulfill his potential. However, how about this scenario? I get the feeling that RK has now lost faith and patience with Ross? If this is the case and the board convince Ross to sign and stay, I suspect RK will move him down the pecking order playing his own new signings in his position? If this was to happen and the board put pressure on for Ross to play would this ultimately undermine RK's authority with the possibility he'd would not sign an extension himself?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

18 Jun 2017 12:14:26
I wouldn't think the board would get involved with team selection. If that happens then as a club we would be in a lot of trouble.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 13:17:01
Thanks for your reply Smt666. I agree the board should not interfere with team selection. The only reason I mentioned it was because I had heard rumours from a number of independent sources that the board were actively still trying to get RB to sign an extension. This may possibly conflict with what RK has already said about the player on national media. For what it's worth I'd like to see the lad sign the extension, get his head down and work hard to prove all the doubters wrong and that would include RK.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 15:26:54
I would like him to sign and then prove us all wrong next season however if he has another disappointing season his stock will have fallen so low we won't even get 20 mill for him.

I really can't understand people saying they want Barkaley to leave, yes it's frustrating he hasn't signed a new contract and weather he does or doesn't want to stay, he is a good player, at 23 he is still young, look at deli for England was so poor, pressure to do everything every game takes it toll on players, maybe when he's not the only one to open up the defence and the pressure isn't solely on him, he may play better, it's abit like when players are made captain and there from drops off, but he's not a bad player, I think we should look around at other clubs who would love to ha e a player like him In there team.

Me neither Blue.

I'd love Ross to stay, and hope he does! Such a talented local lad, I'd love nothing more than for people to get off his back and him to flourish in a blue shirt.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Jun 2017 09:57:39
We all want him to flourish guys but how long do we wait? He is 23 and still only shows glimpses of brilliance. At the moment I can only see him as a squad player.

18 Jun 2017 11:21:20
I agree blue heart I think there is too much pressure on barkley as it was down too him to create everything and better players around him will help, I noticed when Morgan plays barkley performs, I want him to stay but if he wants to go he will be making a big mistake in his career.

Hi all Eds, I notice lately that there have been a few posts from posters on here deleted because of abuse to you Eds, it looks like to me as this is a very very few of the minority who seem to have nothing better to do than slate the team and last year the board and also you, I would just like to apologise to all you Eds from all of us true fans, some like me who have supported Everton through thick and thin since the Sixties, if some of these so called Everton fans had had to put up with some of the stuff back then I don't know what they would have done, anyway keep up the good work you all do Eds it is really appreciated cheers, GuernseyBlue.

I would personally drive ross down to West ham and bring lanzini back with me (straight swap) and do the same with Mccarthy drive down to Southampton and bring James Ward prouse. give rom to Chelsea and ask for Zouma, Batshuayi, Ake, Traore, and then bring the lad in from city Iheanacho. And then it's all about the top 4 and the bring the FA cup home.

{Ed025's Note - it looks like you have it sorted batty, but you might need a minibus if your driving all them around mate.. :)
