Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

After five games said we would finish between 12th and 14th place. However, this league is so bloody poor we could still finish top 10. Being currently 7th makes us look better than we are, which is bang average.

We've not got the sort of money the top 4 or 5 clubs have but please what money we have got let's spend some of it or are we going to sell before we buy.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Everton has an investor who is willing to loan money to the club in order to assist in the purchase of players - he cannot simply give the money to the club, and the club are far from being in the financial position that Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are.}

20 Nov 2016 18:20:16
That's what I said we've not got there money. Looks like we need another investor to loan us some then.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - The real point is that money needs to be spent wisely on players who will improve the team - so the players chosen, regardless of cost is key.}

20 Nov 2016 19:14:16
It's not all down to cost it looks like some players don't like what RK is trying to do or there simply not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Nov 2016 22:43:05
And today's excuse is? I'm sorry but nothing has changed from last season I have not seen anything today from any player that gives me anything to look forward to. I thought we would win today no excuse whatsoever what the attraction is with Ronald koeman is beyond me, I just don't see it.

This club is an absolute shambles, and please don't say let's not have any knee jerk reactions. we have been beaten by too many average teams already this season. And before anyone says it, no I wouldn't prefer RB to still be in charge. this was a poor display today.

Something has changed, a manager that tells the truth, however unpalatable, a manager that holds players to account, not tells them how wonderful they are, and someone who I imho will get it right!

20 Nov 2016 02:34:43
You never have anything constructive to debate skylark, its just moan and groan after every game. By now you must have heard FM speak on talksport, if not then search for it and take a listen. That should show you that the club is far from a shambles, it is in the process of laying foundations for a brighter future.
You never answered me in a similar previous post you made, if you didn't want RK as manager then who was you rooting for?

There is no denying that we are in a bit of bad form, we could, and should, be performing better. I feel more comfortable with RK at the helm than the last man and he was probably the best candidate for the job when it was available. He will get it right, now pick your dummy up off the floor :)

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - this everton will not be a quick fix spud your right, fans will have a bit of a moan now and then and they are entitled to that mate, the common goal for all of us is for the team to improve and be competitive and that will take time..

20 Nov 2016 09:48:13
I have seen RK on tv being interviewed and he does talk a good game, but I've yet to see any and I stick to my view that I still don't want him. At 52 years of age, I have seen enough bad Everton teams in my time and we have got another.

Agree1 Disagree1

20 Nov 2016 11:18:12
its been taking time since the late 80's with one FA Cup win in 95.
Not asking for miracles, but simply a team that at least tries and shows 100% commitment.

We all know the limitations of our players and that can be accepted, what cannot is players just turning up. I think Skylark is rightly frustrated.

Agree1 Disagree1

20 Nov 2016 12:28:53
Shambles, I'm sure Blackburn Rover fans, Aston Villa fans, Portsmouth fans, Fulham fans wouldn't want to be us and the shambolic state we are in. Seriously Skylark get a grip. It's frustrating yes but this club I believe is heading in the right direction. Under Martinez and Kenwright we were rudderless. Now with RK and Moshiri there is a sense of building something for the. future. You might not see It now but it will come.

Agree0 Disagree1

20 Nov 2016 08:14:28
Yes Ed025 but some supporters go over board with the moan and negative stuff. Nothing to say when we win but when we lose they are all talk. Or should I say, all moan and wallow in how bad we are.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - im convinced some like us to drop points just so as they can have a moan NBTB..

19 Nov 2016 21:54:45
It annoying when we go behind at home, cause 8 out of 10 times teams park the bus and we simply don't have creative plAyers to break down the defences. Should have started Davies instead of McCarthy. Jags was terrible, Ash Williams was okay. Problem is teams have worked us out when they go forward. Attack jags cause, he is out of form out of pace. $25 million for bolaise could be a waste. He needs to sit on the pine next game. Crossing is awful. Vision is even worse. Ronald Koeman sending 3 attacking players took some balls but I liked it. It was chaotic and not the norm. Anyway we are in a form slump at the moment and I'm sure we will hit a purple patch and start climbing the table again.

Hey

. this game was crying out for Tom Davies playing alongsidr Gana to give the game energy. absolute kopout playing an un matchfit McCarthy. Jags needs dropping for his own good now, he has played consistently poor for a while n decision making costing us penalties/ goals. bring in Mori or even Holgate. get Galloway back in January to gove Baines competition n again provide energy. other than that at least 3 new winter window signings to freshen things up.

Mart.

{Ed025's Note - no argument from me there smithy..

19 Nov 2016 21:40:58
I agreed with the post above. I would of started with Holgate and Davies. I think it time to drop Bolaisie, I think he will be better as a sub or impact player coming on. I would stick with Lennon, Coleman seem to play better with him. As for supporters moaning about Koeman give him a chance at least a 18 months before judgement I believed he will get it right in the end.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Nov 2016 21:50:39
Just a couple of points. Jags definitely needs a break as he has been poor the last few games. I think Holgate is a shoo-in for me as Mori hasn't really performed at all this season. I've been dying to see Davies as he has impressed in every game he has featured in. He is certainly better than an unfit player or Cleverly. I think dropping Bolasie would be an awful decision as he tries hard and causes trouble. Deulofeu has been inconsistent at best, mostly awful this season. I was told off when I started playing in the Under 8's if I had my hands on my hips. Deulofeu does it a few time every game he plays in. Mirallas has been disappointing too. More goals needed from elsewhere than Lukaku. We need a goalscoring winger in Jan, a new striker, a CB, a CM, a LB and a GK. Doubt we will get all of that but we at least need a striker and winger.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - and a creative midfielder tommy, i would break the bank for a mahrez or payet mate..

20 Nov 2016 01:08:44
We have talented youngsters on the bench, who whenever been brought on have been bloody good in my eyes. so why leave them out. so far this season, Holgate has made one mistake leading to a goal, jags has done more, Davies needs game time. That lads going to be an absolute gem. When will Everton ever get a manager with some balls, who will say " your out of form, this kid who is hungry to play starts in your position next week".

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Nov 2016 18:48:35
Well that game knocked the stuffing out of me. don't know what to say that others haven't already except i think were crying out to give some of the youngsters a crack. Holgate davies etc. We need that hunger and energy and hopefully a bit of youthful enthusiasm will rub off on the others.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - we need quality for me anom, barry can bring some but our midfield is so negative mate...bring on that bleeding window..

19 Nov 2016 18:03:05
Hi Ed I have to say after todays debacle a lot of the team simply are not good enough, we got away with a point today could have lost all of them, i think R K will have seen enough and some big changes will be made starting with a very busy transfer window in January, GuernseyBlue.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i really hope so GB..

19 Nov 2016 22:29:38
Hope we do bring in players in Jan Guernsey. Sadly can't see it happening. 2 at most imho. Extremely hard to get players to improve the team in Jan.

I would expect a very big window next summer. Both in and out.

Right was at the match today, missed the equaliser but still.

Stekelenburg-6.5-Good save from the free kick.

Coleman-5.5-Scored the goal but was poor as usual, last good game was the 3-0 vs Arsenal in April 2014, I'm not even joking.

Jagielka-4-Don't feel safe with him at the back anymore, poor all around, awful defending and not sure why he was trying to cross it when Deulofeu was waiting for it.

Williams-5-Meh not much better, some major mess ups tonight.

Baines-5-I have seen the Titanic turn faster than him, no pace or really anything to offer, not always his fault though.

Gueye-6.5-Our best player and even he messed up the basics at times.

McCarthy-3-He is so negative, backwards all the time, poor passing and that header. oh god was it bad. He couldn't pass on an STD at a brothel.

Lennon-5-Didn't really do anything.

Barkley-5.5-By god his corners are bad, least he had a go though.

Bolasie-4-Bad crosses, lost it all game, Aiden McGeady on steroids basically.

Lukaku-5-Given no support but doesn't help that he moves about as much as a dead snail that doesn't exist.

Not going to bother with the subs

Like watching Martinez again, that's all I will say.

{Ed025's Note - welcome home swan, i have missed your summaries mate and i cant disagree with todays, all round poor performance and a severe lack of quality, i must get on the phone to roy keane to ask him what the hell he was on about with macca.

19 Nov 2016 17:49:35
Good post Swan although I do disagree with 3 things. Coleman I thought was at least decent. He tried and is one of the few players who can't be accused of not trying. McCarthy I don't think is as bad as you make out.

It was a bad outing today but we would be an awful lot worse if Martinez was still here.

Still good to have you back and posting Swan.

Agree2 Disagree1

19 Nov 2016 18:54:46
Not a good post at all! Best you admit your on the Stella. Coleman has had many a good game, your being overly harsh there. I agree with McCarthy assessment. Williams is the difference between us drawing or losing in the 107th minute. Barkley was everywhere in the final third, always looking to unlock a dogged defence. I admit Jags was again poor. Baines is a huge improvement on Oviedo and should be cut some slack on his first game back.

We must be patient blues. But if anything needs to be done, it's signing a player in the mold of Payet who can do something special when we are facing a bus the size of Canada.

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - they only need to park a motorbike to stifle our attacking threat ace..

19 Nov 2016 19:06:10
Come on Ed they showed nothing in the second half. That was parking the bus. But I to make your point, it's down to us to show the skill to break it down. If anything, I was reminded today that the fee we paid for Bolasi was about £25million too much.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - bolasie is marmite ace, from hero to zero in any move but at least he can be a threat mate..unlike some of the others..

19 Nov 2016 21:55:04
To everyone who's slating Bolasie I'd say that at least he has a go and tried to make things happen. The whole team was unbalanced because Jags looks shot and McCarthy offers nothing going forward. Coleman, Williams and Gana were our only decent players imo, with maybe Barkley and Bolasie having OK performances, but the latter two were too inconsistent with the final ball. Davies and Holgate should definitely be given a chance in place of McCarthy and Jags.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Nov 2016 22:43:33
Can't disagree with any of swans ratings of the players performances. Our midfield couldn't have been anymore negative. I don't think Lennon, Barkley or Lukaku touched the ball until about the 30min mark.
Barkley and Lennon improved a bit in 2nd half but we didn't start attacking until the 90th minute.

No-one had a good game, Gana was our best player but more for his defensive display and he did try to drive us forward a few times.
How bad are our dead balls, Baines was woeful with a dead ball and Barkley not much better. Then Deulofeu came on and took 1-2 corners and they were no better than Baines'.

Only positive for me was we got up for the game . in injury time and got away with a point.
