Some supporters say get behind the team, get behind the manager. Don't think it time the manager and the players got behind the supporters who turn up every game and gave them what they have paid for.

if I was roberto I would ask bill for 20 mil in jan

gk romero 3

cb ried 4 mil
ayew 3

deulefou 8

ruddy 2 plus robles

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hopefully Bill will tell him swivel on it.

We have little money as it is and I for one don't want another 4 players on the wage bill who will be adding to the confusion in the squad.

He can go and waste barcelonas cash. I'm sure they still want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

If I was Roberto I would ask for my p45!

Whats your obsession with reid? he's a dreadful footballer, an okay no nonsense defender who struggles in 1v1s and don't get me started on ruddy, just read up norwich fans' opinions on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rid a defender in the distin mode a powerfull defender and can't think of many defenders around like him who we could afford. Ruddy a betterr back up then Robles

Agree0 Disagree0

I mean reid stupid phone auto corrected it

"Meet the new year - same as the old year.
We got fooled again."
Etc., etc.
You probably know the rest of the original lyrics from the song by The Who - I'm sure that showbiz Bill does and he could enlighten RM - but for too many fans it's a now case of:
"I'll get down on my knees and pray,
We don't get fooled again,
Don't get fooled again,
No, no!"

John Terry has scored more (goals, not with team mates partners) in the last four games than our entire team. I know feel more depressed than ever

Just looking at the tables. 3 to 4 wins on bounce and we will wonder what the fuss was all about however the problem is where the 1st one is going to come from.
New players will bring desire and hunger.
England internationals or not if there is a better performing player i.e. garbutt they get picked.
Who is available to bring in to change things?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 22:42:56
Have you been watching this lot? They don't have it in them to win three to four games on the trot. The way they are going we will be cheering draws.

Agree0 Disagree0

3-4 wins on the bounce?

Nah, I'm not going to bother. Some people really do have blinkers on.

Agree0 Disagree0

No blinkers troops just saying how things can change around. look at Newcastle and Pardew early doors.
Turned loss after loss into 6 wins on trot I think. that's 18 points. that's takes us to 39 points.
Look I am just putting a different slant on things. We can point finger at Roberto but these are professionals. They are same players as last year. Its a team effort but for me we have lost desire and the gusto. We need more go forward through middle and our players need to take responsibility.
So all I will say is come on Everton wake up. find the passion and desire that is missing. I think the stats have shown we have made the least amount of tackles in Prem league.

Still playing the same old style no fresh ideas just a meaningless possession game we have 70% but matters not a jot & counts for nothing if opposition score 2 lol.
The team look deflated Not interested can't keep clean sheets & scrap & fight for a single point let alone pick up a victory.
Zero points over tHappy New Year! Feeling bloated, sluggish, bleugh! Let's do this. targets will be achieved and bling will be received! If you're there already, it's staying there and helping others to get there! I'm rearing to go and so looking forward to Saturday! Don't let your friends go to the dark side, tell them to buy this weeks Woman magazine and join for £5!he festive period relegation form all day long.
Surely kenwright can't just watch & observe as Martinez steers the ship towards the rocks has 2 act now
b4 it's 2 late.
I'm surprised he's still there 2 b honest thought he'd have cleared his desk & been over the hill & far away.
For god sake Bill don't waste the clubs money on players in Jan with this clown in charge.
I mean Kone, lukaku, McGeady, Robles, Atsu, Barry, alcoraz championship players @ best.
Even mcarthy all beit injured @ the mo a decent player but lacks goals same as Barry, osman, besic, Barkley.
The evergreen frank lampard & stevie g both scored today if only we had that type of leader/capt to stamp their authority on the team but it's abundantly clear we have no one of that ilk to drive the team forward. We are in a dog fight now being dragged into the mix for the league below.
The mighty Hull Tigers have taken 4 Pts of us even worse Jelavic makes lukaku look like a donkey.
Disgruntled blue.

'Solo lo Mejor' Not at the moment.
More like 'Lo que es un monton basura'
Don't know if anyone from the club monitors these pages for feedback but if they do my message to them is ¡Martinez Cabo! (and bloody quickly)

4 defeats on the trot is not acceptable for our club, so what is the problem? Roberto does not become a bad manager all of a sudden. I don't believe it's tactics we won games and been impressive with this style of play. But something is not right either Roberto has lost the dressing room or the players need to really take the responsibility. We need answers regardless.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It is not 'all of a sudden'.

It is the style of play.

Bearing in mind that was Hull Tigers who cruised past us today (one win in previous 12 and only scored 2 goals at home before they played us today).
Is there any true blue on this site who believes we can trust this guy any more?
Tonight it appears a petition has gone up on Facebook asking for Martinez to be sacked before he relegates us.
I'm to old for that stuff but I urge all blues who can to join this plea to Bill to do what he must.
The guy's a nice chap but sorry this is now as bad as the Mike Walker era.

Mr. Martinez, you have sat to long here for any good you have been doing. Depart I say, and let us have done with.
In the name of God, go. (My thanks to Oliver Cromwell for that last bit!)
The clock and the awaiting taxi must surely now be ticking?

BK has to act now this can't carry on as it is, Wigan stayed loyal to RM and went down if BK stays loyal, were gone, 4 points off relegation, on current form we are the worst team in the league, I don't know if he has lost the players or not but they are slow, predictable and don't seem able to do anything right, We need about 19 points where are they coming from. I can see our main players wanting away if this situation carry's on, We have to change things quickly very soon, and no this is not a knee jerk rant, never wanted the man based on what he did at Wigan. He comes across as someone who dose'nt seem to know what he is doing. absolutely gutted.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 19:30:22
I agree with every word kirbo, this is now getting worrying. I don't think BK has much to think about after that game today, the manager has lost the majority of fans and, it seems to me, the team as well. He needs a miracle to keep him in the job.

01 Jan 2015 18:18:33
Another waffling post match press conference from Martinez. The only positive was the use of the one thing that we need to find - balance. A bit of the sort of spirit that the likes of Burnley have wouldn't come amiss too.
I'm already assessing the teams below us in the league and being nervous over the next fixtures. With regards to the FA Cup the way things are at the moment it's irrelevant.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 17:44:25
Bloody hell what a slump. I didn't think we would lose all of the last three but. Just stumped for words to express the disappointment. Gutted. This season cannot end quickly enough. Only five months of anguish to get through. God help us all.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 17:34:24
Something has to be wrong. Where a shadow of the team from last season. In our last three games we have played teams who are average at best. Yet they never looked like losing to us. Sorry but the manager has to go before he brings anymore Wigan players in. Look at the fight Burnley and Leicester put in today, we have none of that. We are in serious trouble, Bill has to act NOW!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 17:34:03
Look into this as you will but just read on another EFC page that a family member of Baines posted a message stating the players are not even talking to Martinez and also when approached by Distin whom had a go Martinez dropped him! don't mean a punch.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 17:29:38
As much as I like him and a true gentleman, but Martinez has to go and quick this is disgraceful really bad we're in deep trouble I know it will cost a lot to sack him but if that is the only business we do in January so be it we need somebody to come in a stablelise us were falling apart.

Hell, this taking back to the 1970's when we lost 6 on the trot. I think it was Gordon Lee or Billy Bingham (I can't quite remember). I do recall the sheer hell I went through. I switched the game off here - it was on TV. I am not going through it again. I am off to do something else that's going to take my mind eleswhere. No doubt Gordaon and or Billy had good intentions but the door was shown. We are 4 points above relegation. This is a dire situation. I can only think that being in the relagatuion fight is even worse and I remember that too. I am beginning to tip my hat towards a new manager and another way forward.

Well ladies and gents.

I was hoping for a happy start to the new year for our beloved Everton but unfortunately not to be.

I think Kenright now has a big choice to make.

1. Get rid of Roberto and find a new battle hardened manager or
2. Back him financially this window and strengthen with 4-5 new players and off load dead wood.

Jan is not a good time to buy but it has to be done now. As to what's available and what price is another matter.

Couple of wins changes things but we look dead in water at mo and martinez face says it all.

Please just get this man out of Goodison and take his back room staff with him!
All you people who say get behind the manager and stick together are so wrong!
He is turning us into his WIGAN teams!
His record speaks for itself!
Massive goals conceded in every season and an awful win ratio!
He will take us down!
He still refuses to blame his iwn tactics and it is painfully clear he has lost the dressing room
Any team that boasts Robles alcaraz and kone in the starting 11 will win nothing!
I said we will gauge this new manager by his first signing KONE!!
Enough is enough!
I hope you post this ed because if someone wants to put a positive to me right now then I'm all ears!

Diabolical is being complimentary to what has just happened. Even in the dark days of Mike Walkers reign we did not look so poor as we have this season. Look at the teams tipped for relegation and all of them show a characteristic that we dont, FIGHT. Something has to give and am afraid it has to be the boss. The players do not look interested and its as if they don't care much about the fella either.
We need to get someone in swift and get us back to basics of defending properly and when needed winning ugly.
I may take some flack for this but Tony Pulis would have been an ideal candidate to get us to the end of the season still in the top flight.
For those who think we won't go down, have a look at our next run of fixtures and tell me were the points are coming from.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree bluegray it all started with his flamboyant hosting of the world cup on espn not enough time to prepare for pre season and were still paying for it unfit players s***e goalkeepers and over the hill average players and homegrown big arse bigheaded players its enough we were laughing at the other crowd 4 weeks ago but brenda decided to do what was needed and the players responded are manager is such a misguided in his own ability he refuses to admit his failings

So the players were looking to get a "run" together over the festive period. they've certainly managed that.

This is the worst I can remember in a long while. I've been a big fan of Martinez but something is seriously wrong here. Intervention required?

Hell, this is taking me back. 1970's stuff. 6 games lost on the trot. I remember the dire time I had. Bugger it, I am not going through that again. i'm going to do something to take my mind off the anger I feel. Then it was Gordon Lee (or was in Billy Bingham) - I think one was the manager. No doubt they had good intentions. Ugh it's truly horrible. I've swtiched off the TV and I am falling into the RM has to go hat.

We have the best team we have had in a long time so why are we so poor? I don't buy the "Martinez poor tactics" talk because the team are good enough to play anyway they are told and it's the same tactics as last season and we only just missed out in champs league! So what is it? Very frustrated with the Xmas results something better change soon.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There is your answer, same tactics as last season, therefore we have been found out and tactical geniuses such as Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce, Neil Warnock to name but a few have nulified these tactics and beaten us. As for the players, its clear they see its not working and therefore its a case of has he lost the confidence of these players? Am afraid it looks like he has and therefore we need a new lease of life or we are gonners!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's obvious the Manager is at fault! clueless subs, playing people outta position apparently not practising corners or free kicks when trg. He has lost respect from the players that's why they are not responding, Sorry he needs to go as I don't see where any points are coming from at the min.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 16:09:05
Instructions to players should be to not conceded a goal and find row Z if a colleague cannot be found when in possession in own area.
Martinez and players should be made aware that Everton along with Arsenal are the longest serving clubs in the top flight of English football and that must continue.
If he didn't consider himself good enough to get Wigan back up after relegation then he should now consider himself not good enough for Everton. He has basically the same squad as last season so no excuses. Other clubs have injuries so can't use that excuse. As said before the buck stops with the manager.
The best expect on current form is 16th position. West Brom have changed manager and they will certainly finish above Everton. villa, Sunderland, and maybe Palace stringing results together.
In January, it may not be the club who decide who leaves but certain players themselves may decide they've had enough.
Martinez has no loyalty to Everton. Whenever the time arises he will go to another club and start again. He just isn't a premiership manager unless he changes his plans.

shocking!!! 60% possession in 1st half and only 2 shots on goal with 1 on target.you just knew jelly would score against us! hull have had 10 shots on goal with 5 on target. not good for evertonians at the mo . hopefully the team will prove me wrong?? wait till you see their 2nd goal, another classic mistake.sorry to be so negative folks, but if rm doesn't change his tactics we will be fighting a relegation battle.i know he doesn't want to change his philosophy but we are not good enough to play from the back.simeone could be our saviour.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Jan 2015 14:04:12
As much as I was sceptical of appointing RM after he took Wigan down, last season was a good one for us blues. We played some good football and came within a whisker of Champions league football, with a record number of points in the premier for our club. It was a successful season considering we we in some sort of transition from DM to RM. This season, not to point out the obvious, we have been poor from the moment pre-season started. We look slow, lethargic, clueless at times. We pass the ball along the back line without looking to create goal scoring opportunities, the crowd expecting us to lose the ball and concede a soft goal. Invariably, the crowd is correct. Mistakes costing us points and putting us under pressure at the wrong end of the table.
After last season, I was thinking RM should be given the chance, and time, to get things right, surely he deserves that after what he did last year? But then I read his interview in the press yesterday and I lost any confidence that I had in him. Sure, we have had our fair share of bad luck thus far. Red cards not being shown, conceding goals like we did for Colbeck against Newcastle etc. But these are not the reasons why we are not performing. I've said it before and I'll say it again (same as quite a few on here) the buck stops with the manager, only he can save his own neck. His comments made me think that we will not get out of this with RM in charge and this due to his own stubbornness. If he's not prepared to tweak his system, possibly play a different way, then the mistakes that have been made are only going to continue and our season is only going to get worse.
Anything other than a victory, a convincing one at that, today will not be acceptable. A defeat and we can say goodbye to top half finish, hello to a relegation dog fight. I'd rather we didn't have to change manager, especially with a dearth of good replacements who could take the job, but how long do we wait to turn this around? This is going to be the biggest month in RM's managerial career, he needs to listen as well as earn his wages or his entire 'philosophy' will come crumbling down around him. Let's hope we turn it around starting with today. Happy new year eds and to the rest of you

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Amen to that Spud I do not wish for us to sack RM however the way I see it if we don't pick up any points up in the next couple of games BK has some serious thinking to do.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 18:34:49
I don't think it can go any other way now Lancerboy, there is no fight in the players, we are getting bullied out of games. The body language of the players is also worrying. Something has to give, and soon, if we are to keep our top flight status. This is one of the most crucial 5 months we have faced as a club in a long time.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 13:17:49
As frustrating as it is at the moment I think we need to take a proper look at this, bill is not going to sack martinez, he will stick by him, Moyes' first season was comfortable and then in his second we came 17th lots were calling for his head then but we stuck by him and he got it right, top 4 the season after, Bobby is still trying to work out the best way to play in the style that he wants and in I really think that by sacking him no good will come, what we need to do now is get behin the injury stricken team we currently have and help the players, we will come good again, the future is bright, couple of signings and we'll be right back up there, coyb!
