Why are your ambitions so low

Agree0 Disagree0

10/1?!?! Where did you get that from? Before Rogers was appointed Everton were pretty LONG ODDS ON at 1/8 to finish above the RS. Them bein 9/2 to finish above us.

aintreeblue

Agree0 Disagree0

Fine then, everton to win the capital one cup (Carling cups new name) and finish above liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

Where can you get 10 to 1?
I only saw 4 to 1
Clozem

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to agree with the sh*te fan on this one, we should be more ambitious than just finishing above a mid-table side ;) what are the odds on us finishing 4th? its a bit of an ask but it could be worth a cheeky £10 maybe
Toffeepidge

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously people... What's the odds on someone going to a bookie for odds rather than asking random people on message boards?

Ronaldinho pity we can't afford his wages

He's well past it - that's why he ended up back home.

About a week ago on ssn it said Everton were 200/1 to win the title next season. Worth a cheeky tenner lads?

ToffeeTony

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Its ridiculous, I was watching Ssn before and they were talking up the sh*te to be 20/1, yet Everton the team that finishes above them are f*cking 200/1!
Toffeepidge

Agree0 Disagree0

I know right pidge? Liverpool finish 8th and then ssn put them as like 4th favorites to win the title, ahead of us, spurs, the toon and chelski or arsenal. It's ridiculous seeing as all of them teams are better than them!

Haha Brendan Rodgers hasn't been in charge for one game and I think he's a clown. Caught offside says that he wants to put a bid in for Felli-Rodgers clearly doesn't understand the politics of Merseyside football...

Don't believe anything you see on CaughtOffside mate, I have never seen it ever get anything right, its all BS

What a plank, why would Felli want to drop his standards

A lot of people on here have been puttin there teams for next season on this page and they really are ridiculous. With the clubs financial position and past couple of transfer windows I would be ecstatic with:
Howard
Hibbert heitinga jags banies
Naismith Gibson rodwell Fellaini pinear
Jelavic

With Barkley being used as a sub in almost every game

Docker blue

Believable2 Unbelievable3

I agree with everything but playing Rodwell and Barkley.

Agree0 Disagree0

How about:
......................Howard........................
Hibbert.....Jagielka.......Heitinga......Baines
Naismith......Fellani.......Gibson......Pienaar
.....................Sigurdarson...................
.......................Jelavic........................
Ins:
Siguardson 3 million
Naismith 2 million
Pienaar 4 million

Outs:
Yobo 3 million
Anichebe 2 million

Also can someone help me out. Who should i get on the back of my shirt? Out of Fellani, Jelavic, Pienaar and Baines.

Blue kaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibbert, Blue kaz, you know you want to get Hibbert...
Toffeepidge

Agree0 Disagree0

Go for Jelly Kaz, he's sure to be at Goodison next season

Regarding players that are on free's, What would you all think about Andy Johnson coming back for second choice? He's been mostly injury free this season, scored quite a few goals in europe but kept getting over looked, and on top of that he's hardly going to be asking for big wages either. (This is if for some reason we don't get Naismith of course)

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Not for me mate, step backwards

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why ? What could he really bring to the team other than taking Vic's seat on the bench.

Personally think we should be looking to bring in bigger and better talent. Onwards and upwards (to the top of the league) COYB !

If I was moyes I would try and get out of the free agents :

Kalou
Hoilett
Rodella
Diame
Klasnic
And Gordon as a back up keeper

We all know moyes likes getting players in on a free so he should pounce on these

Believable4 Unbelievable3

I would have all your picks except Kalou, he is poo

Degsy

I wouldn't say no to Kalou Degsy, he's not that bad...

Jaaskelainen, Bosingwa, King, Cuellar, Nelsen; Kalou, Murphy, Hoillet, Guthrie, Rodallega, Owen. SUBS- Gordon, Steinsen, Upson, Diame, Andy Johnson, Saha, Berbatov, A starting 11 plus 7 subs that are available on a free transfer/Bosman

Who would anyone have at Everton out of these?

MikeTheBlue

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Boswinga, Kalou, Guthrie, Rodellaga and Diame all young apart from Boswinga who is 30. Hoillet would cost money because he is under 23 and the rest are either old or not interested in playing football anymore

Agree0 Disagree0

Realistically i'd take Bosingwa for the RB role (tbh who wouldn't? Hibberts knocking on and DM is so keen to push Coleman into an attacking role). Kalou would also be ideal however with wage demands and bigger teams after him it's unlikely we'll push for him. Rodellaga and Klasnic however are definitely reasonable targets. Cheap with attacking flare and good back up for Jelavic.
However, we all know Moyes won't go for anyone on the list. At a push we'll be going for Pienaar, Naysmith, Donovan on loan and few cheapies/players we've all never heard of before.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't really rate Bosingwa defensively, and he is no spring chicken either. Would rather persevere with Hibbo unless a genuinely better player becomes available, which also rules out Naughton imo.

Tell ya what Moyes needs to be on that phone there is so many free's out there at the moment....
Jaakelainen, Gordon, Cueller, Guthrie, Steinsen, Boswinga, Kalou, King, Diame, Rodellaga, Klasnic, Owen, Berbatov, Andy Johnson, Hoillet, Reo-Coker (spelling), Murphy, Saha and there is a few more aswell especially outside of England

Just a thought to see what people think, Saha has been released by Spurs. Would anyone have him back on a free??
Instead of being the 1st choice striker with Jelavic now the main man i think Saha would be a top class back up?

Believable0 Unbelievable8

Will people stop talking crap about saha,he is well well well past it,before new year saha was walking around the pitch like he didnt give a dam and we couldnt buy a goal, then he left and jellyman came in and look at us now.Saha is crap and so lazy any evertonian that wants him back obviously doesnt go the match.Terry blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on Tegsy, Saha is no good for us, one decent game out of every six at best, spend any money elsewhere

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Come one lads, I'd take Saha on free. He'll play a vital role in that behind the physio and kit man slot. {Ed024's Note - lol

Right if you read this often I dont have to tell you what iv been right with in the past. At the end of every season Moyes gives the board (not just Kenwright) a list of targets. Numbers range from 5 - 12. He obviously doesnt want all but he asks for the board to do there best on enquiring about availability, affordability and realistic deals that could go through. Then upon there feed back he wid choose his top targets to try FIRST. Nothing else happens uni them top targets are ruled out. For example if he had £8 Mil to spend on transfer abd wasted £3 on squad players and his top target became available hes can no longer afford him. His 3 top targets are 1-Pienaar. 2 - Adam Johnson. 3 - Lukaku. Weather on loan or permanent I dont know. Until there ruled out dont expect money to be spent. Have also heard but not 100% that he is looking at Klasnic on a free as back up so id expect a striker to be moved on then. Probably Victor. From D.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Source? you can't say that them are definitely Moyes top targets if you can't prove it
