Players like Cahill and Neville need to be phased out and replace them with some of the talented youngsters we have at the club.
I wish some everton scouts would come down to wiltshire ie chippenham youth ,ive seen some cracking players in the mid wilts leauge one lad there has scored 22 goals in 11games, his name is logan cassidy he is only 14 yrs old and has great pace, one for the future im sure.

Barkley was really bright at the start of the season and is showing good form captaining and scoring in the youth side. It would have been just reward for his loyalty and hard work to give him some game time at home to Norwich.
Moyes wont play him much as its too near January window ..typical negative tactics ...If we are taken over lets have Huddink and play like a top side play ...sick of this crap

I say let Rodwell go for £20m. He's good, but it's still going to take him a couple of years to get to his best and we just can't afford to wait. He's been around now for well over 2 years, played for England, but he's still not getting regular starts. With that £20m, just think what DM could do (plus fees for say Hetinga and Billy - £6m), £26million! He could get real talent when we need it the most!
Kenwright wont let us have the 20 million as Ed said if it comes to the transfer kitty great but we wont see all 20 million ...Only sell the s**te like Billy for 5 million and at least we get that

suarez banned for 8 matches and fined 40,000! 8 games is not enough for what he is guilty of and 40 grand for a top premier league player is nothing! should be banned for the rest of the season and fined atleast 2 weeks wages! they want racism out of football then thet have to make punishments alot harsher for offenders! absolutley disgusted with the outcome of this!!
A delicate subject.. But i think the 8 match ban is about right. I think it would have been wrong to fine lots more money and only give him a 2 or 3 match ban. Large fines dont affect footballers, missing matches will do. Evra has admitted to saying something extremely unpleasant as well, the question i ask is will he get an 8 match ban as well? If its not race related than probably not. Will be interesting to see if the same level of punishment is thrown at John Terry. There is no place for racism in football, but at the same time, things that are said on the pitch about peoples families (Materazzi to Zidane) etc deserve the same punishment. I am of mixed race and i would be far more insulted by somebody saying something about my mother or sister than calling me a black ****.

Just watching SkySports news and, in an interview, David Moyes has confirmed that Everton have not had any contact from Chelsea over a bid for Jack Rodwell. He also said in the same interview that Everton are monitering the situation with Rory Donnelly and that the Everton chairman has made contact with the Cliftonville chairman over a potential move.

The Steve Ross rumour (lie) was started about a month ago by someone claiming he was Ross's employee.
A couple of weeks later this Gandolph bloke jumped on the bandwagon, and started pretending he was "in the know", and now he is pretending it is he that started the rumour in the first place.
You can see the OP was not by Gandolph because the OP can actually spell and is clearly not, like Gandolph, functionally illiterate.
I have to say also, that it is very sad that someone would make a rumour up in the first place, but it is even sadder that someone would pretend that he made up the rumour (the lie!) when he didn't.

Wouldnt it be nice if the players en masse came out and said they are happy at EFC and will not be moving anywhere ! Especially Rodwell , Felli ,Barkley etc !We'll never close the gap if we keep letting our better players go to teams above us , I dont see a great chasm when we play the Utds Liverpools and Chelseas its just one pass which undoes us or a chance missed by us (or a dodgy refs decision now and again ! )
Maybe these players have seen that they have a lot of potential and do want to move on, and i cant blame them witht he current state of the club and the performances they have been putting in.

back to rodwell, he maybe valued at 20mil by everton but in all honesty i do not think you would get more than 10 for a squad player. you see easy economics states if you are trying to sell something eg. the club put an inflated valuation on the squad meaning it will have a better appeal to investors.

If you cast your minds back people didnt want to move to kings dock and wanted to redevelop goodison and now its come back to bite us because no one will buy us out without a new stadium. IF (and I stress it is an if currently) reports coming out of SSN this morning are true and Rodwell is on his way to Chelsea... please will people start turning up to the blue union protests! It is not as basic as 'Kenwright out'. Everton are a bigger club than Chelsea! Just not richer!
So at the moment Chelsea are a better proposition for players than us becuase they can offer Champs League football.
We have Baines, Rodwell, Barkley, Fellaini and Jags who would all I'm sure happily stay at this club if we were competing for trophies or top four finishes.
I really do thank Kenwright for what he has done - similarly to Moyes, if he didn't take over we would be in a mess! But he is holding us back now. We have already lost Arteta and Pienaar along with Yakubu and Beckford to balance the books. If Chelsea offer £20m for Rodwell and he leaves - it will set a terrible precident that we truly are a selling club. And after Rooney, Lescott, Pienaar, Arteta and perhaps Rodwell - who could say otherwise!
Fellaini, Rodwell and Barkley could form a scary midfield but if Rodwell leaves the other two will also soon enough.
He HAS had opportunities to sell us - he just doesn't want to. Get down to the next march with the Blue Union and help get EFC back to the top of English football - not also rans!

Sure Everton are a big club, but they are not bigger than Chelsea. Have Everton ever won the Prem or have they even been challenging for first? And if one team can offer Champions league football then they are surely a bigger club than a club that is currently struggling in mid table.

firstly as an everton investor,i can confirm tonight the club is close to a buyout,and shareholders will recieve the first written proposals next week.secondly the club have been selling online training to american colleges and some mls clubsand this has yeilded the chance for 4 u.s.under 21,s to be trialed at finch farm in the new year.the cost to the club if all four sign is around 1.2 million pounds paid to the m.l.s.who own the contracts of these players,sources are also telling me that any moves for de jong of twente are a smoke screen for someone from p.s.v.(not named).but i am told a written request has gone in to seville asking about there forgotten striker freddie kanoute has been sent. {Ed025's Note - i can see the clock coming out soon!!..
