So I see the ever professional ROY KEANE has his views on our manager. well being the disgrace of a player he was and out spoken person of a manager or assistant manager he is. I think he should keep that mouth shut. any views ppl??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He doesn't like to be out the limelight too long does he. A thug of a player. by his own admission. Regarding man City player he put out the game.very bad manager. we kept stuffing Sunderland when he was in charge. In general he is just a little moaning cry baby who's toys keep being flung out his pram.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im with you dentie, hes a bully boy. but you wont see him mixing it with the likes of big dunc or souness because they were genuine hard guys..

I know ed. Bet he didn't run to fergie asking why giggsy was only available to Wales in qualifiers and never friendlys

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your right dentie..

And this is the same loyal Irishman
who walked on his country in the middle of a World Cup because he'd had a spat with Mick McCarthy who was managing Ireland at the time

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason he fell out with Mccarthy was because Mccarthy was arrogant and unlikeable and told Keane to go when he questioned his judgement and why he did this was because he thought the training pitch and hotel standards where not fit for professional footballers you say he was afraid of souness and duncan well he gave schmeichel a black eye and he was an animal

Keane captained his side to the greatest season in English football history. We'll leave it there.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - there are no doubts about the guys playing ability rosie, he was a quality player...its that big gob and horrible attitude that makes him a complete and utter arsehole mate..

He gave smeichal a black eye? What is this my dads bigger than your dad what are you 12?. Love the way you defend him now yet when he had a pop at your fans and fergie he was hated by your lot, how things change in 2 weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Just for clarity regarding the Halaand tackle, Keane's tackle had no bearing on Halaand's injury problems, Keane done him on his right knee, and Halaand had been having problems with his left knee and was wearing it strapped up for months. After Keane's tackle Halland played on and finished the match, he also played in a friendly for Norway that midweek and the following league game with no problems with his right knee (the one Keane caught). During the summer, he had surgery on his left knee, and played 4 substitute appearances the next season before retiring. Halaand had already admitted he had been playing with the injury to his left knee for a few month and he went on to say that Keane's tackle had done it no damage during the game and that Keane did not cause his injury.
It was a shocking tackle but the story about how serious it actually was is a fairy-tale kept going by the people in the Irish media that have never liked Keane simply because he wouldn't play their stupid games when he was meant to be playing football, not sorting out tickets for journalist's friends and families. Roy Keane had absolutely nothing to do with the injury that forced Halaand to retire.}

Just a quick question ed 007 what's your thoughts on tomas graveson and alan stubbs? Not personality just in terms of playing ability, did you like either?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I thought big Stubbs was a fantastic player for Celtic, Swan one of the best CB's I've seen playing for us. I always have him in my 'dream team' of Celtic players when the question comes up. Me and a mate travelled up to Aberdeen to see him make his debut, I was raving about him all the way up on the bus only for the &%4£% to get sent off! He's also a complete gentleman, right down to earth and always stopped to talk to fans, even when he was at Everton and travelled up to watch our games he was the exact same, stopping to chat get pics taken etc. I can't praise the man enough, a model professional and an ideal example to young players.
I thought Gravesen was a good player for Everton but by the time he ended up in Glasgow via Madrid he just didn't look interested, then you seen his Mrs and you could understand why he wasn't too concerned about football any more.}
