I know Heitinga had a poor season but he did win player of the season two seasons ago is it worth selling him or giving him a run under Martinez?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Heitnga has been a major disappointment too much of a liability-get rid while he still has some sale value

Agree0 Disagree0

No, one year left and does not want to re sign, sell now and get something back on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is too late for him to win over the Boo Boys at Goodison now,
if they want someone out, then they will get there way.

Andy The Chef

Agree0 Disagree0

Is right Andy Chef. When he goes they will turn their attention to someone else and it'll probably be Anichebe or Naismith.

It's a shame, because he used to be a favourite of mine, but Johnny has been moaning to whoever will listen for about a year now, about being unhappy at the club. He's practically held up a 'sign me up' banner to Fenerbahce and would quite literally bite someone's hand off to go back to Ajax. He Didn't just have a bad season, but just looked like he'd stopped caring during games. Even in the eyes of a new manager, this is bad form for a player. Although he has had his moments, l fondly remember his 'welcome back' tackle after Saha first came on for Tottenham at Goodison, I think it's time to let Johnny go.

I really hope jelavic stays. play him as an out and put striker and I think he will score for fun. we know he can fini sh. give him a run and i'm sure he will get back to when we 1st signed him. personally I would play him and kone together with mirallas behind. try and destroy teams rather than win by the odd goal. just my opinion.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't agree - he was dreadful last year - and nothing to do with Moyes 'tactics' - he somehow simply lost his way - he was completely mistiming his shots and everything

something is not working for him at everton so sell him now so he can recover in another league - and we recoup fee whilst he still has one - to be spent on a proven premiership striker like defoe or new up and coming lad

If Jelavic is with us in the coming season I think he could be like a new signing under Martinez. Remember what he was like when he first arrived. Right place right time, one touch finishes and bags of passion. What a player he was. Then. Moyes got hold of him. Next thing we know, he's never in the right place at the right time because he's tracking back or playing wide. He can't have one touch finishes because he's miles away from goal. His passion disappeared because he's being starved of doing what he does best.

If Martinez let's him play the role he's best at he'll bang em in for fun. Can't wait!

Will the everton vs juventus game be on tv? I never seem to be able to get a decent picture on everton tv. Plus no new signings until after fellainis future is sorted. If he leaves then Roberto's top targets are banega or that Wigan guy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I had trouble last year with EFCTV (Even got a refund for the preseason games) but this year they've learned and they use a new video player.

I've not had a problem since.

Alot of talk of jelavic attracting interest from hamburg, I would like him to stay I think he is suited to the way Martinez likes to play, moyes had him running all over the place and knocked the confidence right out of him, I think given a chance in the new system he will thrive!

Everyone saying that honda is going to AC Milan in JANUARY for free, why don't everton bid now and pay about £5million for him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Change the record guys. This honda thing is so boring

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Robbie doesn't want him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Because it's up to the player. Straight logic as he said he wants to go to AC.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because he wants to go to AC Milan?

out of the following players who does everyone think will make it at everton?
john lundstram
ben mcglaughlin
george green
chris long
matthew kennedy
luke garbutt
tyias browning
mathew pennington
conor grant
cisco junior
taudul
ibou touray
hallam hope
mason springthorpe

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lundstram, Green, Long, Kennedy, Garbutt are very talented, seen impressive displays from all of them. Springthorpe is good but might find it hard if Joel proves a success. Could be a John Ruddy. The others I don't know too much about and haven't seen enough of. Interesting post, would be good if some of the regulars who get to see them shed some light.

Hi guys, just seen on an Everton fan page on FB, that the Hamburg director has confirmed they want to take Jelavic. Not sure if I can see this, but thought I'd give it a quick share

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Something not working for him at everton so maybe right time for a change if price is good enough

With Tottenham signing so many midfielders would anyone take Parker, sigurdarson, dembele or Dempsey

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would take Dembele every day of the week but they wouldn't sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take all of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take any of them especially sigurdarson and dembele

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares.

Agree0 Disagree0

Parker's legs have gone. Plus, he runs like a girl

Think Jelavic will stay, natural finisher needing a fresh start! Will thrive under Martinez.

Rumours Craig Gardener is on the move, thoughts if he came to us?
13yog

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got 8 prem goals last season, would be a good signing

Agree0 Disagree0

Most of them were Pens though! Not good enough for us

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a decent squad player but wouldn't part with more than a couple of million for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

His brother Gary is miles better and would be a much better option.

We have apparently submitted a 1 million euro bid on friday for a very promising young Ivory Coast centre back who plays in the French league for Le Mans & his name is kone, so we could have 2 kone's in the squad next season if press reports are to be believed.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What's with all these centre back bids? Surely we're well covered there at the minute.

Just thought I'd point out to the negatives who whinge about buying players from a club just relegated. What about jagielka? And distin? hmmm two of our better performing players in the past few seasons, bought from relegated teams. I admit kone wouldn't have been my 1st choice but he performed well in a sinking ship. So let's have a little more positivity lads!

I really wish that Baines & Fellaini and all our other players who wear the Blue Shirt of Everton would realise and accept how fortunate they are in the lifestyle they are living thanks to all us supporters. David Moyes, respect him as I did, used to say that he wouldn't trade any of his players at Everton and he thought we were only a "couple of signings away from being a Top 4 team". so apart from him leaving. what's changed? Moyes is now stating he is working with some world class players. the same as he was here at Everton? So to Leighton Baines & Marouanne Fellaini I would just like to say. to all the Everton Fans, you are "the best players in the world"! You are playing for a great Club, so why not stay here and achieve your ambitions to win trophies with Everton. why not. we have beaten the top 4 sides over the last few seasons, so stay where you are worshipped by the fans, play every game and help Martinez build a side to challenge for honours once again, like this great club used to do. Manchester United have had their era, football works that way. who's to say it's not Everton's turn?

Heard a rumour from Italian friends that Christian Eriksen is now AC Milan's main midfield target and, with Robinho having agreed a 2 year extension, a move for Honda in January is no longer seen as a priority, whether Honda wants it or not.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Like ac couldn't afford to have him on the books, included the fact its great marketing for japans best player to be at the club
