Cant be going into next season with williams as a first choice centre back, not good enough. Jags is better and sadly he needs replacing.

I can't see a future team without Davies either.

Williams partners either Jags or Mori. Our winning runs have all had Williams in the team. I agree that at times he looks slow, but look at the stats of wins and clean sheets when he plays. Koeman sees someting and although Jags and Mori are in and out the team. Williams is a first pick. I would rather go with Koeman's choice than yours guys. no disrespect meant. but I think he has more knowledge.

The only reason we've kept clean sheets is robles its got nothing to do with williams. I sit in the lower gladys week in week out an williams is awful, how many times the opposition gets past him is ridiculous, he's to slow an to clumsy.

Sorry Bluetooth, I am with Koeman. I trust him more than you whatever you say mate. And I have to say something must be right. last 10 games = 7 wins and 2 draws. You don't do that because of a keeper alone. I believe that Williams is strong and a proven leader. An organiser. He did it at Swansea who are missing him dreadfully and Jags looked awful last season and is clearly not an organiser of defences. I played for many years myself and the successful teams all had an organiser on the pitch. A Peter Reid, a Roy Keane, a John Terry. some teams have more than one organiser and they are generally successful. But Mori and Jags are not in this bracket in my view. and in Koeman's from what I have seen of the defences he has picked.

Your still not listening to what im saying are you. My post was about NEXT SEASON. Your saying your not going to buy another defender to replace williams next season then your living on a different planet. you can be a leader an a organiser all you want but if your no longer good enough what's the point, yes jags might not be an organiser but he's a far better player than williams.

How can you say he did it at swansea when they had been battling relegation for years. He had a good euros that's it, he played at swansea for years through his PEAK an i don't remember any of the top clubs makin any sort of offers for him. I don't care if you played for many years we all have that's irrelevant. an by saying all teams had an organiser in reid terry an keane is ridiculous cos they were world class, williams is not. Again incase you somehow fail to notice, im talking about next season.

Bluetooth, ok you are talking about next season. I get that point. But I never said we should not buy another player? I am not sure where you got that from? All I was saying was that Koeman picks Williams and A N Other or plays a back 3.

He has not started with Jags and Mori alone as far as I am aware. But he has played Williams and Jags. He has also played Williams and Mori. Of course I agree with you that both Jags and Williams are on borrowed time.

Your argument that Swansea battled relegation for years is not quite 100% right too. They were one place below us 2016 in 12th. They were 8th 2015 and we were 11th. They were 12th 2014 when we got 5th.

So not exactly battling relegation with Williamsin the team. But I agree that this season they are battling relegation without him. My point about leaders is that you don't have to be a world class player.

You have to have a good head and be an organiser. But hey, let's not fall out. I actually get your point about next season. I just don't agree that Williams is as bad as you say. and our results sort of prove my case.

We are top of the table for 2017 with 7 wins out of our last 10 games which is a lot better than we have been for some years and to say this is all because of Robles does not fit in with me.

I think all these stories linking Barkley with the spuds are nonsense. I don't think he could play in the same side as alli.
It would be like the whole Gerrard and lampard situation.
Besides I would hate to see him leave us now he has worked hard and looks fitter and stronger in order to develop as a footballer.
If he continues this development, he could actually fulfil the potential we all know he has.

He was criticised for his decision making and time spent dwelling on the ball. In the last 10 games or so, Koeman has sorted this out with him. He is twice the player of last season and it is nocoincidence that he has been recalled to the England squad. We need to let him know he is a top player and that Everton want top players in order to achieve the same champions league ambitions that he has himself. We are close to achieving that now. He should be offered a very lucrative contract because to replace him would cost us an awful lot more. Added to which, there are not many players who could replace him.

Degsy what a point that is mate. I agree completely give Barkley the contract as no matter what we pay him. We will have to come up with a few of around 40million and the same wages we are going to offer him to replace him.

Also the kid is a scouser a home grown English. That sort of player becomes vital when meeting the requirements for europe.

Have we put an offer on the table yet? I would be surprised if there has been no initial talks. I think tie him down to a lucrative deal.
Bit more work from Koeman and perhaps a future captain!

If Lukaku moves in the summer or not we need another top class centre forward if we're going to be playing on a Thursday night in Russia. Would fork out a lot of money to sign Rashford! If he was foreign like Mbappe people would be all over him, I'd offer 30-40 million easy his actual play is class!

Not a chance of getting him. Utd don't need money, they need quality players. He is quality and they know it.

Sounds like an idea worth exploring. However, my gut feel tells me that United are trying to rebuild in the same manner as ourselves. But they have a lot more dosh and a lot more "recent" Champions League history. A great young player like Rashford is likely tobe part of their plans. Whereas an ageing Rooney might be considered assurplus to requirements.
