The board don't agree with kenwright so they won't put any money in for us,
And also we have one of the richest woman in Britain on our board, John mores sister, she has a lot also but once again doesn't agree with kenwright

The board won't give no money until we have a new stadium simple as that im afraid.

Kenwright isn't worth 100mil. He is poor in football terms. Although Earl and Woods are loaded, surely some sort of questions need to be asked about these guys and what they actually do for the club. They are the real problem for me, not Kenwright. {Ed025's Note - i agree..

I will just say Earl bought in as a favor to BK. He bought in way over the odds as a means to keep us afloat for another year. He has no real interest in it, if he did he would take us over

What is the obsession everton fans have with 4-4-2. It is an outdated formation which is very few teams use, and used by none of the top teams. The reason it's not used is teams figured out that by putting an extra man in midfield u could win the midfield battle and control the game. At the end of the season we were lining up with a 4-2-3-1 formation and played some great football and scored a lot of goals. Why are people so desperate for the predictable 4-4-2 to return?

Everton hardly use 4-4-2 anymore. They tactically play 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 with either Cahill or Fellaini playing the more advanced "behind the striker" role.

Can't really call united's a 4-4-2, rooney plays more like a 2nd striker with the freedom to do what he wants. In the big games Fergie always drops welbecl and puts park in midfield. To play 4-4-2 you need a lot of pace to stretch teams, Fergie has always set his teams up with fast attacking wingers. Everton don't have any and therefore can't play 4-4-2

Everton should use 4-3-3 in my opinion, but i think Thats a bit forward thinking for Moyes.

Can't say I like the new away kit. The badge looks like it's been ripped off David Moyes' "please stay" cake. Mind you, Kenwright paid more for the cake than he did the kit. Bring on the new home kit I say! Looks like a Brazil kit so hopefully we can at least play like them. It'd be nice to see Hibbert playing like Dani Alves. I can dream Ed, I can dream..

I just hope the deal was worth it for the club. I thought last seasons was pricey at £40-odd. But 50 notes for a shirt that I can't even buy at any sports shop! I can only get it on-line and get fleeced by excessive postal costs or make the 500 mile round trip. played my first gig yesterday and I devised a 4 year plan.
Year 1: Get a big break.
Year 2: Become very big.
Year 3: Befriend Sir Paul McCartney and convince him to join me in buying the blues.
Year 4: Buy the blues and hire Ed025 as the chairman and tristen as the manager. I'd have Degsy up front as our star striker, mainly for sex appeal and to model our new kits...

Hi Ed, what's the latest on Landon Donovan returning. I noticed he said a few weeks back that he will be returning...maybe as a player or a supporter. On his twitter page he is listed as proud American and Evertonian. I think he only has 1 year left on his contract and that usually prompts a club to sell. Any thoughts? {Ed025's Note - i think he will return in january..

I hope he returns - but not just in january - as that will mean we haven't bought a proper right winger :( - buy him completely or get another proper winger in - 2 months is no good

It probally would benefit us but trouble is we know what them deluded kopites are like - if they put a penny more than us it would be more there ground - if they had 1 more fan it would be more there ground - if there was 1 more red badge it would be more there ground and so on and so on..There would be loads of arguments and trouble over it,its just not worth it,plus the idea of a norweign or londoner sitting on my seat when there at home would do me head in. Of course it would benefit both of us - but they're probably too 'proud' / stupid to consider it - they'd rather cut off their nose to spite their face than do something that would benefit us as well as them - they'd rather come 5th - 7th and be above us than try and compete with Manchester

I think it's a good idea AL, coz then those used funds to secure Goodison will hopefully get put back into the system and help repay the banks and what not. Also imagine the atmoshpere during the Derby's!

I can never understand all the opposition to ground share. From our point of view it would make massive sense financially, & give us the clout in the transfer market that would propel us into consistent top 4 contention.
This system works well in Italy & Germany even when the rivalry between fans becomes political i.e. Lazio & Roma who share the Stadio Olympico. I believe that in Germany, I'm not sure if it's Munich or Dortmund, the ground is designed so that if the team that plays in blue are at home, the walls of the ground turn blue, & vice-versa when the red team are at home. (half & half for derbies)
Each set of fans has their side of the ground, where the away fans sit when the other team is "at home".
Finally, at the end of the day, even though our rivalry is intense, we're all very proud of our great city & its people. Outsider's media driven perceptions of us disappear on their first visit to our city. Our warmth & friendliness are legendary. Let's show the rest of Britain that ground share can be done sensibly in this country, even with your biggest rivals!

What is the latest with the Stanley park site? Liverpool have stalled and postponed for a long time now, what is the time scale they are allowed can we go and build a stadium if we had the money? I believe a ground share is a no brainier people are set in their ways and to stubborn we can have a excellent modern stadium with top facilities but keep our local surroundings what we used to like the tradition of going the same pub etc before the game plus improve our income to increase our transfer budget each season.

Any true blue would want wants best for the club - all this culture s**t is boll.... If i am honest. I am a Stafford blue and I couldn't give too hoots if we moved from Goodison - give me a modern stadium for 50 thousand, great facilities and a top 4 spot and Goodison will soon be forgot.
