Sky reporting Will Hughes could be moving to Watford for £4.5m rising to £7m! Always liked him as a player and would've taken a punt on him for us.

He's dropped off a little bit in the last couple of years. Think it's a good move for him to try his hand in the premier league without so much pressure.

Would have been good enough for the team two years ago, but not anymore. Aiming higher now.

I wish everyone would relax about Sandro deal, I know we have seen deals like this fall through before, but we have a man by the name of MOSHIRI who is the real deal, Kenwright has been looking for him for over 10 years now so handing over is beloved Everton was probably the most difficult decision he has ever made.
We are now at the start of a very long journey and maybe not next season or one after we will be a global force again but I don't see that until new stadium gets built, but that should not stop us aiming and getting champions league from next season onwards. Signings we made so far are just what we want a gk who can be our no 1 for years, Klasson is a player who makes things look easy on the eye, and Sandro hopefully gets done soon will be someone we have not seen at goodison reminds me of costa his style very similar great movement and I don't want to jump the gun but if these player click with the players we have here already I think he could get 20+ prem goals.
We scored 62 goals 25 coming from Lukaku
Our next has something like 6 that's the problem that koeman faced, I think we will be better again at the back next season so it's about getting more goals from the attacking players it's about turning draws into wins and defeats into draws I know it sounds obvious but that's the difference it will make, still want barkley to stay as I feel he will get better with players like klassen as I feel this is now where we don't have to rely on him all the time if we don't perform we blame Barkley first.

Fantastic post Truebluemetz79. I've read regularly people talking about BK and saying Everton was his toy train set that he was finding it hard to throw away. What a load of bull. It was because he cared so much that he wanted to be certain to get what was best for Everton.

No one individual or even group of people but for the club. Which for me is really for the fans. I not only love the business the club is doing. I even love the way they are doing it more. Bringing quality youth through, buying smart, buying value. Have a top class manager and a top class director. Walsh and Koeman are men that improve us and they are doing a brilliant job.

As are Moshiri, Unsworth and still BK. It will be tough to break into the CL but with a new stadium to look forward to as well we will have many years of excitement and buzz around the club. For me an awful lot of that is traced back to BK. I don't think I need to remind people of the chairman he replaced. When you look back now he has been remarkable to get Everton F. C. to where it is today.

Well said NBTB, had it not been for Bill we could easily have been in the same position as Leeds. Yes we've had to wait a long time for a "big owner". But during that time he has kept the club going. He has now delivered and still people are not happy. Sad really, the guy should applauded every home game for what he has done for the club.

Love the way a lot of people read the echo then post it as their own rumour.

I no it's very early still, but we are getting players in, but do you really think we are interested in mean, as there seems to be slot about other players but gone abit cool on him, I no we only have a certain budget so do you think we are looking for cheaper options or maybe off load a few players to see how much of a budget we have to spend, as every player seems to be at least 25 million these days
Thanks blue_heart.

May I be the the one to say this first well hopefully I'm the first one lol, but this Sandro lad is a class act and for the price we got him is a steel. But I would bet any money in a season or two we are going to have to be playing Champions league football to keep him because the likes of City, Chelsea, Man Utd will be banging our door down for him this guy is going to turn heads big time this season really pleased with this signing he has a bit of everything looking forward to seeing him in an Everton shirt coyb.

{Ed025's Note - he does look the dogs danglies stef..

Brilliant stuff so far in the window. We couldn't ask for any better at this stage really. Some change to 15 months ago. Onwards and upwards.

Agree NBTB. This is the best window I can remember at this stage. The mad thing is that I still have the feeling that we've only just started. Plus it's always a little bit more exciting when you're signing attaching players.

Hi Ed 025 I see now the local rags are saying the Spuds are loosing interest in Ross, I wonder if they were ever interested in him in the first place mate, or was it just the usual hype before the window, I have to say on another note R K and Mr Moshiri are really getting down to bringing in some excellent recruits in for the team, also those pics of the proposed New Stadium, wow good times to be a Blue, roll on when the window starts, cheers GuernseyBlue.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know if anyone is really interested in taking ross GB, my guess is he will see his contract out and leave on a free next year, myself i would withdraw our offer of a new and improved contract and let him rot in the reserves but maybe thats just me mate, but i must say im loving being a blue..

22 Jun 2017 10:42:41
It looks like Ross may have been given poor advice from his agent. I still think its worth offering him a new contact but on his existing terms, he could then fight it out with the other boys for place in the squad. If he stays having competition may push him to the next level.

22 Jun 2017 12:30:42
Regardless of the reasons Ross seems to have painted himself into a corner. of the 'top 6' I can't really see where he fits in to any of those sides tbh. Everton to me is the best place for him. then the only option I see for him is abroad. or a 'lesser' domestic side (for want of a better expression)

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i have no ill will towards him jcl i just think he is being naive and poorly advised, the grass is not always greener and him and his agent may find that other high profile clubs will see him as a luxury player and wont be willing to fork out a large amount for such an inconsistent performer mate..

22 Jun 2017 20:28:42
Even without signing anyone else Ross is going to have to play his socks off to keep his place in our team and I believe we will probably sign more quality competition in this window.
Seeing his contract out won't help him if by next summer his only offers are teams lower down than us and by teams lower than us next season I mean Liverpool, Arsenal and United 😁.

Bi harsh that letting Ross rot in the reserves, send him out on loan to Grimsby, see how he hacks that's on a cold Tuesday night, with the smell of fish and the wind whipping around the stadium.

I honestly believe he will end up just like Rodwell did and within 3 years be at a club like Newcastle rather than a top 6 side.
