Moyes looks as if he's aged 10yrs!

New crests are on . Though going by some of the comments the club may well wonder why they bothered. They all look okay to me, left as you look traditional, middle one a bit of a new/old hybrid, right as you look a bit out there!

We have some very fickle fans! I'm not sure any other club would have acted so quickly to try and appease the fans and all they get is grief!

I think that the club could and should have gone one step further and put forward last seasons crest forward as an option. I bet that would have been the clear winner.
Fans are now free to pick the new crest.as long as it is one of these three!

Best weekend for many years as a blue, we won, Reds lost and Meltdown United supporters calling for Moyes to be sacked, Felli is lazy/slow and the best. 'if you watch Everton they are a better team'!
Don't believe me?

Could we have had a better week; 3 points, first on MOTD, the RS and davey lost and Everyone in my fantasy team won :)

Lukaku in the next 5 years will be the best striker on the planet so enjoy him while we have him.so yes

Just wanna throw this out there
If We could buy lukaku for 20mill but the only way to raise that would be to sell bainsy, which way would you go?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Entirely hypothetical I'd go for lukaku but only if baines went abroad so I don't have to watch him every week on MOTD

Agree0 Disagree0

Tough one blue to be honest, bainsey could and should be an everton legend if he stays, but if he wants to go as has been mentioned(not by him by the way) then yes i'd sell him.Lukaku is 20yrs old and will only get better hopefully wearing the blue of everton, whereas bainsey is 29 and at his peak now if you know what i'm trying to say, as i'm semi kettled on strongbow.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think I would too, baines is 29 lukaku is 20, We could get 10 years out of him, while baines Prob Has 3-4 left

Agree0 Disagree0

Why sell Baines, don't we have any money, we must have haven't spent much but sold.
Bluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

Id say romelu thanks for your wonderful contribution however we can't sign you permenant as we have the best left back in the land to keep

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously Lukaku is looking great so far. Now IF he continues to impress in this loan spell then I would say we should break the bank to buy him.

Players fall in love with Everton just as much as the fans, so given time, he might want to stay himself.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is more chance of us selling baines than them selling lukaku, simple

Ginge bottles another derby yet again.I haven't forgave him or never will for the two derby defeats last year against the rs in the league game at anfield and the semi final at Wembley when the a.se fell outta him they were there for the taking under any other manager apart from bottler moyes. He was clueless.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agreed jimmy. Just watchin the goals again. Ha ha ha reminds me of us v arse years back (7-0) must of been bad for tony adams to get one. Utd going to find out its tough now without whisky nose pulling the strings and bullying refs and fa. going to be lovin it watching the decline

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Jimmy. to lose 3 times against them lot is unforgiveable. the guy has no bottle. to lose a semi when your one up at half time against a very average team shows he was clueless

Wow. so the ginger person has been humiliated and embarrassed adding another top side to his awayday failings, whilst we come from behind (twice) with the one player the aforementioned person spent all summer tapping up scored two stunners with the winner coming from a guy who our opposition spent all summer chasing. and the red rubbish lost at home. if Carlsberg did weekends!

I know it's optimistic but why not put a cheeky bid in for Kagawa in January? Wasted talent at Utd and just sits on the bench every week. He was key in Dortmund's rise in the Bundesliga and I reckon if we bid £15 mil, United might just be tempted.

BitterBlue

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gollum would probably want Baines as part of the deal. Think the further we stay away from that lot the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

If they do let him go, it'll probably be back to Dortmand. No chance of him to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed two old leave well alone because they will be back in january. Anderson been mentioned that he's up for grabs wtf? Not good enough sorry. If they want bainsey so bad well take rvp or rooney or no deal Seemples!

Gday Guys. What did you guys think of Oviedos game. I thought he gave us more than Osman. I think he is a very good player and he needs game time. Here in Australia they show every premier league game live and replay every game the same day/night. I watched the Chelsea match and all I can say is What is Mourinho on. How the hell we got Lukaku. Etoo is poor and Torres could not hit the side a barn.

Cheers and go Toffees

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thought Oviedo did very well got stuck in and chased and harried the west ham defenders something we've been lacking for years with our midfield being short on pace we need that type of energy in the side

Kurajan had his right to his opinion about the first half yesterday. The problem is you can't go to "A Plan B" 20 minutes into a game. You have to give the tactics that you worked on all week a chance to develop. Barkley made a poor decision with the tackle, good thing is that he is getting lots of game time and will now start to develop and become a more mature player. We are going to play great football sometimes this season but also some poor football when the opposition shuts us down (mike all clubs). We just have to stop panicking when we have a bad game (or in this case half).

Well said mate.

bear in mind we have alcaraz, kone, pienaar and gibson to come back yet.i am really hopeful and excited about the coming years.this is the best and strongest squad I think we have ever had in the epl.also thought martinez did great yesterday.he could see it wasn't working first half and changed it around.second half we we.re awesome.on.e very happy fan

would just like people's opinions. (I know its a long way off) IF there is no money for martinez to spend next summer, would people be happy to see baines move on for a large fee on the provision that Lukaku falls in love with efc this season and we signed him? think he is our missing link personally and as good as baines is, he ain't going to be at the top of his game for much more than 3/4 seasons, whereas we would get 10/12 seasons from lukaku. Watching the media today Sunday Supplement, Neil Custis thinks that if Baines was in a red shirt, he would be first choice for England. Show on tv had a vote 75% baines, 26 cashleycole. Henry Winter and other went for cole, Kevin Kilbane went for Baines. What has Leighton got to do to earn respect. By the way watching those two free kicks yesterday, brilliant, keep baines at all costs.

I really feel the club should go out of its way to get Baines to sign a new contract he is a player we just can't afford to lose 75 maybe 80 grand a week he is well worth it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't as what happens if he say's no? The media will be all over it and we will have to sell him for peanuts, so for me it makes sense to leave things as they are unless Baines himself asks for a new contract.

@ Kurajan

are you colour blind - the game which the players were wearing red shirts had no plan b.

great game mr martinez.

the lads beat chelsea last week naismith and jellavic did well. let's play the team which beat chelsea. logic

half time hey its not working - try something else.

3-2 thankyou very much for the 3 points.

personally I think we are still warming up.

some team is going to get this season.

results breed confidence jelly will come good and kone will knock a few in as well.

we have a few players now who can score.

but as true blue my feet are planted firmly on the ground.

coyb

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Colour blind? No I'm just not blinded by the out come! As I said yesterday, the second half was as good as I've ever seen, and it's great to finally have a manager who will take risks and make changes! However that doesn't excuse how poor we were in the first half, we were playing a very poor West Ham side who bullied us(like we used to do to better footballing sides under Golem), they pressed us high and the players looked lost in the first half, they shouldn't need half time and Bobbys words of wisdom to sort it out!

Kurajan

Karajan trying to make a name for himself spewing such rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Trying to make a name for myself? I've been posting here now for a couple years, and yeah I woke up yesterday and thought i'l try and make a name for myself on an anonymous banter site!

Its a banter site, so the clue is in the name, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you,! but at least I always sign my posts, and take whatever is said in good spirits!

And as for yesterday, have you even read Baines interview today, Bobby apparently ran the riot act at half time yesterday, so he obviously thought we weren't good enough in the first half either, but then again you probably think he's just spouting rubbish and trying to make a name for himself aswell!

Couldn't watch the match yesterday, had other things on. Just got a few questions:

1. Did Barry and Barkley play well?
2. Was it a shaky performance or were we well in control of the game, and was the passing and movement good?
3. Who was the MOTM?

Ha my night couldn't get better, two Liverpool pundits, one of which obviously selected because tv thought Southampton would have no chance, so tonight Liverpool will be top.

I'm amazed at the lack of credit Mirrallas has got for today. He looked world class today and was head and shoulders above the rest.

2 great freekicks by Baines but it was Kev that was doing all the work today. Wins the freekick for the 1st and crosses for the third. Constant threat throughout.

What is nice to see is when we are ahead we are now keeping the ball instead of lumping it up. I'm not biting my nails as much as last year now.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree Mirallas was good, he is IMO our best player by some distance in terms of ability anyway. However it was Barkley fouled on both occasions for the free kicks.
Lukaku and Mirallas seem to know each others games very well which is very exciting.

Svenny

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair at the match the fans noticed how well he did an sung his name as much as anyone else.

I think on an another day he would have got more credit, but Baines stole the show.
