i keep reading that our new grounds capacity likely to be approx 50,000. obviously this is not fact, although i am sure someone knows. if it should turn out at approx 50,000 then it will be extremely short sited. we have this season for the first time in memory sold all season tickets.

we have a waiting list. we have far greater interest than for decades. we could also provide me seats to away fans. a new stadium on the waterfront will also attract more support and guarantee you 50,000 will be a major error and surely this is just a figure being plucked from the air.

But is it?

Its easier to increase capacity than decrease it.

I have no doubt we would fill 60000 but to maintain that level can be difficult. Just look at city.

You don't make a lot of money in capacity but you do in the corporate side of it and this is the most important part.

Grounds these days are made to be expandable so I wouldn't worry too much about capacity.

I have been told that the initial plans are for 60,000 but it suspected that when it is costed out they will decrease it to 50,000.

How many blues are praying that Sandro is rested tonight, they draw Germany in the semis and get knocked out without him scoring.

I thinks it's done mate but my only worry is this supposed 1 year break clause in the contract, why would they claim he was delighted with Everton have to offer and there vision for the future and then he is planting a one year release clause I hope it's bull but he had it with Malaga so I wouldn't be surprised.

According to some reports in spain that Sandro wants a clause put in his contract so he can leave for another club after 1 year of his 4 year contract me personally wouldn't see us allowing that have u heard anything about this ed.

If Malaga are playing silly buggers what recourse do we have? Would Uefa get involved?

Hi ed, it appears spurs are going to play a game of poker with us over RB but do you think that will stop us bidding or going for sigurdson.

{Ed025's Note - i cant see why jipster, sigurdsson was targeted before ross decided to play russian roulette with his career, he is out of contract next year anyway and it may mean that macca and besic are moved on quicker but they are not part of the plan anyway, spurs are waiting for us to drop the price significantly or they will wait to get him on a free next year so its a tough call for us mate..

Ross needs to think long and hard about this, seeing out the last year of his contract playing for the u23s won't do his England aspirations any good!
Three options I feel.
1. Sign your new contract come back into the fold and be part of what is happening at Everton
2. Hope that Spurs come in with a decent offer, if not Levy can go do one!
3. See out your last year, play for the u23's and miss out on the World Cup squad
Hopefully he sees sense as I would prefer to see him do well for us and thrive amongst the talent arriving!

ed025 even if Ross sees out his contract, we would still be owed a compensation fee decided by a tribunal as he is 24 and has been developed by the club? Is this correct?

{Ed025's Note - i think you have to be under 24 wakka, but even then the highest ever paid is £6.5m for danny ings so its nothing to what a transfer would bring mate..

I think it could be a deadline day deal, most would hold out in an attempt to get him at a lower pic late in the window.
