What about this one. Klinsmann as Everton's next manager. I think he would be the ideal choice.

What makes him an ideal choice?
The fact that he's coach of the United States team that's on course to qualify for the Brazil 2014 World Cup - why would he leave them.
Or that he's married to an American, lives in California, and has several private and public interests that take his time there.
Or that Everton aren't regular participants in the Champions League.
Or that Everton haven't the money to attract lots of top players.
I just don't see how the unnamed original poster can call him an ideal choice.

Bruce Arena would be an ideal Everton manager, for me. Knows his stuff and is vastly under-rated. He always gets the best out of his players

Rumours in local press that January transfer target Alvaro Negrado is keen on a move to England. Obviously now that we have shown an interest, this will mean the Red rubbish and Harry Redknapp will be looking at him. Gizmo 67

Can we all please get over this ludicrous idea that other clubs wait for Everton to "find" a player and thereby use our club's efforts as their lazy way of discovering players. Every major club has worldwide scouting networks that will be aware of all existing & upcoming talent around the globe. Every major club will also have agents contacting them about players. The only issue is how advanced any transfer discussions are between the concerned parties about a possible move and how much other clubs know about those negotiations. For example, plenty of clubs would have known about Tim Cahill, Phil Jagielka, etc. , but DM decided to take a chance and move for them before other clubs could. On other occasions, we've known about talented players, but have been out-financed by richer clubs. The idea that only Everton know about talented players is just plain daft. These days it's almost never the case that the first we fans learn about a transfer is after it's signed, sealed and delivered. Maybe we shouldn't post any rumours on this website - surely that's telling other clubs about players we're interested in? ;-)

Keep the targets real and you have Isco in your side? He's being tailed by Barca, Real et al and has not long signed a contract with a buy-out of around €30m.

Gotta love this. Mike, why so much love for mucha? I thought the sarcasm of calling him the slovak casillas was enough, but it seems like u genuinly rate him, or you are the dryest person ever and your sense of humour would be lost on most people?
