Everton now need to pounce on Naismith before someone else snatches him up with him being on a free .... Hurry up bill

David Moyes went to the Leeds Rhinos vs Castleford Tigers rugby league game today. Either he's looking to recruit Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow or he's simply enjoying himself while Bill gets Naismith to put pen to paper...

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Was Tony Pullis there by any chance too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Pulis and Big Sam would have been there.

Just had a great idea...Knowing that we have good relations in US, maybe we pursue the Donovan deal and sign him on permeanent basis, we could do the opposite of what LA do, we could have him in our season, then send him out on loan to LA in the summer. What does everyone else think of that? EDS?
EtidAaron {Ed025's Note - good idea aaron..

Believable1 Unbelievable1

So when does the poor guy get a rest then?

Naismith has left newco "Rangers", and Harry Kewell has left Melbourne Victory and has moved back to england.
I would take both, even though Kewell was a RS, it will boost buisness and links in Australia and he still looks a tidy player
EtidAaron {Ed025's Note - no way!..kewell was finished 4 years ago..

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Kewell is well past his sell buy date, we're suppose to be making the squad younger not older.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought kewell came back a few years ago fatter under the name of Kolerov (spelling) and was playing for citeh , anyway yes to Naismith and no to Kewell for me.

Hope this true about Naismith being a free agent as if he is coming to us it should speed it along. Your thoughts Ed !

Big C {Ed025's Note - i hope so big c..

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take Kewell in a heartbeat. One of my favourite players.

Bobcat {Ed025's Note - easily pleased..

Agree0 Disagree0

I live in Melbourne and Harry Kewell was very ordinary for the Victory this season. He is way way way way past his best and wouldn't spend 1 cent on him. Lets Just hold onto Fellaini and Baines and get Piennar and one more signing with a couple of loans and I will be happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not easily pleased. I would sign him as a squad player. I'm not stupid. I don't see him as a starting eleven player.

Bobcat {Ed025's Note - i never said you were stupid bobcat...but to be fair mate..he is awful..

Just heard that Naismith has rejected a contract to the newco side so technically he is now a free. i also heard that Wigan are preparing to make a bid for Anichebe for 6 MIL as they are getting closer and closer to losing Moses.

i was surprised about 6 mil offer but that is what it says which allows us to get Pienaar back which is great.

Sources: ESPN - Naismith transfer reject
- Wigan after Anichebe

hope this helps

Read on sky text that we have enquired about this Luc Castaionos? How much is he available for ed's? and if its true how we getting the money? AND why haven't we approached Pienaar yet! {Ed025's Note - pienaar situation will not be sorted, until a new manager is in place at spurs, im guessing, that luc will cost £3-4m

[AO] Everything can happen now. England will today say bye to th Euros triggering a lot of transfers. Baines may be sold to MU in case they cant get Alba. Alba would be better option bcause of his age and potential. Naismith may come in on free and Yobo will be sold. Hope for Fernandez on free and Luc on loan and Vic sold to Wigan freeing up money for Pienaar but cant see us getting him.

We all have great expectations for George green and we don't hear alot from him, he played a good handful of games last season for everton and England, but he was still a school boy so it's a slow ride.
School is over for him now so I tweeeted him asking what he thought would be the plans this coming season, maybe a reserve appearance or two, he kindly tweeted back saying "if I perform well, anything could happen"
This sounds promising enough

No idea whats going to happen this summer, DM hasnt given away any clues apart from that were of course looking to strengthen up top and on the right. This is what id love to see. Definately a team competimg with top 5 that, and possible with the Rangers saga which now sees Naismith as a free agent.

Naismith and Whittaker are both desperate for a move to Goodison but the threat of legal action is blocking any clubs from making them an official offer, We have all knew Naismith wanted to come and Whittaker would fit in at RB hope this is true could save us millions too.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We don't want Whittiker even Rangers fans say he's rubbish, so why would we want him for?

Everton target steven naismith has rejected the transfer of his contract to the newco rangers. Steven whittaker has also rejected it. does this pave the way for us to sign naismith now? also, wudnt mind whittaker as we cud do with a new RB. A bit of competition for hibbo could keep him on his toes. These 2 players along with pienaar and maybe that castaignos wud be good business. Cant wait for the new season and to be sittin in the gwladys street 18th august COYB!!

Interesting to see that Naismith of Rangers has rejected move of his contract to the Newco. Apparently the Jellyman rates him and we need another striker in. It would get us a half decent forward for free and allow us to put any funds available towards getting Peanut.

Calm down lads with the mental rumours about players. Its obvious that we have to sell to bring in some players (that we have to pay for).

realistic team;

Howard

Hibbert Jagielka Heitinga Baines

Naismith Fellaini Gibson Pienaar

Osman
Jelavic

SUBS
NEW GK
Neville
Distin
Rodwell
Coleman
Cahill
Anichebe or a new free or loaned striker

Looking more likely that we will get Donovan on loan in January or maybe even permanent.

Still think this team is capable of top 6 good starting 11 with good experience on the bench and not forgetting Barkley, Gueye and Vellios
That will be it in my opinion unless as i said if we sell someone.

Matt spiro a french football broadcaster/writer has came out and said chelsea liverpool and everton tried to get giroud before he chose wenger, trust me im not a fan of kenwright but i honestly think we've got money to spend

Believable1 Unbelievable3

24 Jun 2012 11:49:33
I reckon Kenwright's intentions are indeed good. However, Earl is loaded yet puts nothing into the club besides a monthly blog update in which he just copies and pastes last month's blog entry..... search for investment neverending blah blah blah. Put up some cash or get out, that's what i say. And that goes for all the board, the Blue Union focus all their time and attention on BK when in fact the real problem are a rich board who take more out than they put in.

I know rumours are more often than not absolute rubbish. Last Summer we were linked with loads of players and ended up signing 2 players which nobody had even linked with us. But we are believed to be favourites for Mandzukic in an 8 million pound deal, reportedly close to getting Cardozo for 4 million, reportedly even closer to getting Luc Castaignous, likely to be on loan, Neville has admitted he's trying to convince Donovan to sign, which wouldn't exactly be cheap. So, although these are just rumours, with so many links to what are in Everton terms, big money moves, and Moyes not saying the traditional "no funds" instead saying "I'm looking for players" - maybe we aren't as strapped for cash as we thought we were. Also been hearing Kenwright's investment search is having a bit of success, possibly we've been given some money.

It's Monday morning in the local primary school and the teacher's asked the kids what their parents do for a living. After the usual postman, builder etc. one little boy pipes up that his dad is a lap dancer in a gay bar. Every night he puts on a thong, oils himself up and goes and dances on table tops for other mens enjoyment. The other kids and the teacher are gobsmacked. At the end of the lesson the teacher takes the little boy to one side and asks him if what he said was true. No says the kid, he really works in the liverpool football club shop but I was too ashamed to tell the other kids. - Philthy McNasty

The RS are trying to hijack our move for Luc Castaignos, hope Brenda isn't going to be like Hawwy and use Moyes as his chief scout - Philthy McNasty {Ed001's Note - seriously? Liverpool tried to sign him on loan ages ago, long before Everton showed any interest. You might want to rethink what you are saying!}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

That ed has got a point were both interested but there has been no form contact or deals between either club for them to hijack a deal it's just speculation and at most an enquiry
