I've seen quite a few post on here recently pointing put Moyes will do us a favour by loaning us fringe squad players etc etc, the thing people have to realise whilst Moyes I'm sure still has deep respect for Everton why would he jeopardise helping a team who are quite capable of beating Manchester United without the added help of them loaning us players.
Don't expect any preferential treatment from Mr Moyes, his priority is Manchester United now now us.
We have got absolutely no chance of finishing above Man U next season, so our ex-manager hasn't got anything to worry about if he was to loan us some players. The players couldn't play against Man U anyway. We won't be getting any players from them.
Mike
To be fair he said beat Man Utd, not finish above them,
I know that, but how would loaning us some players from Man U help us to beat them? They could only play in all the games except the Man U games as you can't play against your parent club anyway. So that means the only way the loan players could help us beat Man U would be to finish above them, which isn't going to happen.
Mike
If he did loan us players they are not allowed to play against there parent club anyway PADDOCKBLUE

Eds how many players do u think we will bring in as I have stated on my last post there will be at least 6 out and 6 in but do u think we will bring anyone else in to bulk up the squad thanks.
Big Dunc {Ed025's Note - i dont know dunc..sorry
24 Jun 2013 22:11:43
Ed, would you agree it is fair to say that most of the transfer rumours doing the rounds are somewhat premature with Martinez being on media duty and also not having met with the players yet? {Ed025's Note - very much so mate..

Since no one else has done this I believe I will here is a thing for the players who have left everton
Mucha: how can he not come first?, at first I thought you were absolute sh*t but after the game vs man city you will always be remembered as an everton legend thank you pity you never challenged howard for number one spot thanks jan.
Neville: never the most technical player in fact he was awful dunno what he offered except passing it backwards but a leader and a good one at that, thanks phil.
Hitzelspeger: shame you didn't score one of your hammers for us but you put in a good shift all the time and should of played more games if not for our manager having his favourites thanks thomas.
Bidwell: had high hopes for you but shame you didn't make it here I hope you have a good career but shame it won't be at everton, good luck jake I Bid you fareWell (see what I did there?) Thanks jake.
Sam kelly: didn't make it here either but I don't know much about you so I will give you this, you are a cool ginger thanks sam.
Tom molyneux: never heard of you tbh but you obviously were not good enough but regardless good luck with your career thanks tom.
Jasper johns: great and unique name but again you wernt good enough but good luck in the future thanks jasper.
Anyone ever told you that you 'weren't good enough'?
You're obviously rubbish at tact and empathy but hey good luck to you whatever you chose to do in life - as long, as you don't chose the diplomatic corp.
I like it and agree with your overview of each of them. Especially jasper johns. Great name. Good luck to all of them.

Ed, do you know of any targets yet?
GoodisonGeorge {Ed025's Note - only really honda and fer really george, people are saying lots of wigan players as well, but for me thats just the martinez link mate..
McGeady not an option Ed? {Ed025's Note - he is for me...but roberto may have different ideas mate..
24 Jun 2013 20:01:28
Any chance of Lenny Nangis Ed? {Ed025's Note - he has been linked to us mate...but then again..who has,nt?
More chance of getting lenny henry
24 Jun 2013 19:29:58
I honestly do not have a problem with mcgeady. I think he is a pacey player (something we have lacked over the years) and a skillful one. As people have said, he could play on the right connecting well with Coleman and allowing Mirallas to play behind the striker with maybe honda behind him. I just hope the supporters give him a chance.
Blue kaz
24 Jun 2013 20:23:04
He is poor looks good against the bad russian teams but other than that nothing does bugger all for ireland and for spartak and when I have seen him in the cl he has done no skills whatsoever in fact is he even that pacey? Tbh doesn't look as quick as mirallas and I watched him play against celtic and mulgrew outpaced him so don't think he is lightening, crap player
Mulgrew is pretty quick though
He has a few tricks and a bit of pace, but that's it. There's no end product. It would be interesting to see how many assists he actually provides.
I thought fans would have learnt from the Gibson episode before writing players off as crap, but obviously not.
24 Jun 2013 21:46:23
Gibson was still young, had what we needed and had a very small price tag, mcgeady has none of those
24 Jun 2013 18:36:25
Do u think we mite have a proper number 9 and number 10 type of player next season ed ste46 {Ed025's note - i would like to think so ste..
24 Jun 2013 17:46:03
Just like to know what fellow blues and ed think about Kone? he's supposedly being linked with us. I've seen him a few times, and at times he looks a world beater and other times he just seems disinterested. I can't work him out, and not sure about him as an everon target/player. {Ed025's Note - i think he is good jimmy..
Good player, definitely an upgrade on Victor, but his age would be a concern for me at the price quoted. If we could get him for £3/4m then I'd take him
I like him I do, he's like nothing we have at the club already as he has pace, good movement, can hold the ball up and bring team mates into play, and can score goals. I hope we get him as he would add so much to our team. Mike S
Kone is not an everton player. let's think better standard than this.
I don't really know why everyone is so focused on him being 29? surely we would get two to three good seasons ( 15 plus goals) and sell him on for a couple of mil good business I recon and provides more competition up top.
Good player 2-3 good seasons left and pay us back when he helps fire us into Europe.
Your deluded, he is one paced, his movement is average at best, his first touch is as bad as I've seen. THat along with the fact he's got no left foot and poor in the air should give you an idea of what you could get. If anyone pays 5 million for him I will be amazed.
24 Jun 2013 16:51:08
Hope Martinez spots some talent in the Confed. Cup. we need to look beyong steady eddies as players. for example, what has Milner done at City?. the game is moving on again and though we don't have Naymar money to spend, we need to look at exciting young players who are so comfortable with the ball at their feet that we can move into a new gear. because with the money being flashed around by our competitors, we have to be daring in the market to hold our own and kick on towards a European spot. Mc Geady is the kind of player we would have signed five seasons ago and does not inspire. let's hope that Roberto is sensible but with a bit of daring about him. we need to strengthen in all areas but desperately need a playmaker with a trick or two and a turn of pace. Moyse has brought us on but with the squad ageing, even holding on to sixth spot would demand intelligent investment in new players and the evolution of Barkley and one or two other youngsters.
Hopeful Blue {Ed025's Note - good post mate..
24 Jun 2013 16:46:56
This transfer business is funny,
Contracts and talk of big money,
Who`s comin` in? and wh`os for the bin?
And fans who spit out their dummy.
This window we have some cash,
So I hope we do make a dash,
We want value for our £, solid and sound,
Cos some of `em mentioned are slash.
There`s talk of little Maloney,
Then also big bright head A. Kone,
I haven`t a clue, do any of you?
Poor Roberto is glued to his phoney.
We`re all over the papers like ants,
Then abusing the ED`s with our rants,
It`s only a guessy, but I think we`ve got messi,
If it`s true I`ll come in me pants.
That`s it the message is thru,
I wish it were only true,
They`ll join our great side, wear the jersey with pride,
They`ve only gone and signed ME and YOU. {Ed025's Note - love it hugster..
Fantastic mate.
24 Jun 2013 15:53:23
We do NOT want Ashley Williams, i've watched him closely this season and 5m is flattering nevermind 8/9. He is not good enough.
Watched him closely? Are you a scout?
Laudrup disagrees with your valuation. Has he got it wrong?
Toffee ace
I agree mate. The centre backs we have are as good if not better. We would be better signing up and coming CB's from lower divisions and bringing them through in say 2 seasons when our current CB's will be too old. Duffy may also be in contention then.
Degsypulford
24 Jun 2013 12:57:16
Ed do you think martinez will want to get anybody on loan, for example moses or demba ba? {Ed025's Note - im sure we will look into the loans market oscar, to beef up the squad, which will leave money for hopefully some top signings mate..
25 Jun 2013 14:12:07
Ed025, any idea if we have an interest in either Ba or Moses. Both would be good signings, in my opinion.
Team Wolfy {Ed025's Note - we are linked with moses, due to the wigan connection, no news on ba mate..
24 Jun 2013 10:37:41
Ed do you think we have 12-15m?
well why don't we sign McGeady for 4m which will allow Mirallas to go upfront.
then sign Honda which gives us cover in the midfield.
then sell Heitinga and buy manga?
also try and get a new young striker {Ed025's Note - that is roberto,s job, not ours mate..
24 Jun 2013 14:07:57
Not really a rumour, ordered a home shirt with Gibson printed on the back, the dips***s at kitbag have sent me a Manchester United shirt with number 20 and champions written on it.
No wonder we make nothing on the merchandising side of things
PeterB5875
24 Jun 2013 12:39:26
In: Given/Alcaraz/A. Williams/Aurier/Fer/Honda/Ireland/Moses/McGready/Kone/Damaio
Out:Naismith/Geuye/Heitinga/Jelavic
Out on loan: Stones/Barkley/Duffy/Vellios.
. and this will never happen.
If you think we can get leandro daimao you are nuts
So we are going to sign 11 players. We haven't signed that many over the space of 5 seasons nevermind in 1 go.
24 Jun 2013 12:23:37
Everton an spurs both linked to French forward Lenny Nangis, anyone know of him? Think I've heard his name before
MikeyEFC
24 Jun 2013 12:19:19
Nangis Honda. Mcgready aurier looking Goodson bound
24 Jun 2013 11:49:44
can all fans stop panicking because of no new signings. there is plenty of time so keep the faith were all proud blues who love our club to bits. in martinez we trust. as long as we increase tye squad we will have a good season COYB
24 Jun 2013 10:19:40
We are in the 'silly season' for sure!
Latest continental super star who wants to join us is a French teenager from their second division who says prepared to go to EFC or Spurs
Incredible record this one, 8 senior games and 1 goal!
The papers have got a lot of paper to fill!
23 Jun 2013 23:48:58
Does anyone think Everton are counting on selling Fellaini to free up some spending money? Looks that way to me. Also there's a lot of rumours flying round, I hope we get a few in soon and hopefully some decent names. Coyb
The transfer window isn't even open yet, nor has roberto even met with the players. hold your horses and relax
24 Jun 2013 08:08:31
Read my post from a few days ago. That's exactly what I said. Once felli goes with the additional sales of heitinga and after the board have wet their beaks, I reckon we will have the grand sum of 13-15 mil. The television money will not go on the squad recruitment.
And come next year we will still be 40-50 mil in debt. You do the math the money is being spent somewhere.
Eric dysfunctional
Eric, unless you have all the figures in front of you then you know as much as anybody else on here which is nothing, so quit your moaning and quit trying to drag people down to your miserable level. Mike S
24 Jun 2013 16:47:08
here here Mike S. Hate the doom and gloom of some people on here. The board simply stuggle to help EFC progress because they don't want to invest, not that they take transfer money gained by the club and wet their necks with it, EFC is a business at the end of the day. CraigHuytonBlue
Maybe Eric is just looking at the FACTS from the last 4 seasons. Go and look for yourself and look at the ins and outs of who joined. GO FIGURE!!
23 Jun 2013 23:45:49
Lets face it fellow blues none of us no any transfer targets new manager new era 4 us mighty blues. All we can do is sit wait & hope. But come on people we r everton the best in the land. let's all think of the good times coming r way. COYB. Walk
I know 1 player that we are sure to sign and that is Mcgeady.
If McGeady signs then it will be proof positive that Roberto Martinez is not up to the task of leading Everton, and is way out of his depth. He'd be okay for a championship team but is nowhere near the level of a PL player.
I'd rather see Steven Naismith, Bryan Oviedo or Matthew Kennedy given the opportunities on the wing that 'McGreedy'
