What are the chances of getting Lukaku on loan? {Ed025's Note - we asked at the start of the season, and i believe it was seriously considered, he needs playing time, and we are definitely in the frame..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

It was not considered because it would not have been aloud under U.E.F.A rules as you can not play for 3 different in 1 season. Could play for us this season on loan but to say we are in the frame with no evidence to the fact is complete nonsense.

Does anyone like this (realistic) team, i would be happy with it.

Howard

Naughton Jagielka Heitinga Baines

Donovan Fellaini Gibson Pienaar

Jelavic Doyle (people don't like him on here but i think he would be a perfect partner for Jelavic) {Ed025's Note - i like that side mate...except for the doyle shout, of course..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Doyle has lost all confidence so is a definte no. Like the team otherwise but swap Doyle for Dempsey and Champions League is a real possiblity

Dero Irish Blue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like it all mate except Doyle, just don't think he is anywhere near good enough for us, would love the rest though. Personally I would like Rodallega with Jelly

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i see what your all saying about Doyle that's why i wrote my reason. For me he's not prolific but when i watch him although he would consider himself a "centre forward" i think he would be a great player to play with Jelavic, he works his bollox off scraps and chases and his creative game is very under rated, he creats a lot of chances for the team he is vert unselfish, i think it would work well leaving Jelavic to fly toward 20+goals.
Just opinions, appreciate your views and better than usual, some people on here are very nasty when you post a opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forgot to add that i also would love Dempsey here but i think there will be a lot of clubs after him and we may miss out

Agree0 Disagree0

I think for the price of Doyle (Wolves would want 5/6mil) we could get someone like Dempsey or Holtby for a similar price as they are in the last year of their contract

Again as i posted last week David Moyes has asked about James Collins availability, these rumours are strong now, i personally think he's a solid centre half, what worries me is that if it is true does that mean we are losing one centre back in the summer (maybe Jagielka?, or Distin hasn't signed his contract yet has he?) {Ed025's Note - not one for me mate.. for me he is one of the reasons villa are struggling!..just my opinion of course..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I got to agree with Ed the lad is all heart but is just no good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought you bought players to improve the side he doesnt fit the bill people on this site are talking about getting rid of jags and then collins gets mentioned {Ed025's Note - i know mate..collins is not in the same league as jags..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2012 22:24:06
ed do you know of any interest for Karim Ansarifard? heard he is a great prospect and can be cheap.
Blue kaz {Ed025's Note - dont know about cheap kaz?...dortmund are after him amongst others, he looks a great prospect..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Annoys me the way some of our fans think he is crap. Osman is underrated. {Ed025's Note - for me..he flatters to decieve..he will have one or two good games, and you think...this guys great!...for the next three games, he will hardly touch the ball!!.. inconsistency personified..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Osman is under rated but for me he goes missing in big games. Against the lesser teams or no pressure games he is outstanding, and i agree with the end he is inconsistent

Agree0 Disagree0

At times you watch him and he looks world class, like he could walk into some of the top sides in the world, but then again at times he looks championship level, I love osman but he is very inconsistent

Bin a longtime since we have had a striker like jelavic at the club. Looks clinical in front of goal...I just hope he doesn't go down the same road as James Beatie , Andy Johnson .etc. 1 decent season and that's it.

EFC {Ed025's Note - this guy is the real deal mate...and you can take that to the bank!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think Jelavic is different class. {Ed025's Note - and your right..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed0025 i remember you mentioning Jelavic a long time ago on here!
Saying how much you rate him and he would be suited at Everton!
Bet your over the moon we have him now! {Ed025's Note - i wanted him a long time ago mate, you see a player and you think..."he fits the bill"..im just glad we got him, and to be fair moyes and kenwright deserve a lot of credit for making it happen..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2012 21:42:38
There will be quite a few teams after hoilett, so we would have to make our move quickly, if villa go down maybe we could get n'zogbia on a cut price deal, although he hasn't set the world alight this season, what do you think ed??

Ste EFC {Ed025's Note - i wanted him before he went to villa...now i think we had a lucky escape!...he is moody and lazy imo..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 21:40:16
We're such a better team with pineaar, have to work out a deal with Tottenham to either get him back on loan again or buy him.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Am i the only one who fears that pienarr is not a forgone conclusion {Ed025's Note - no your not mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2012 21:10:39
I feel like we've everything to play for. Finishing above the RS for only the 2nd time since I've been a fan (1990) means everything to me. {Ed025's Note - it does to all of us mate..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 20:38:52
Win at the weekend and I am pretty sure the lowest we'll finish is 8th. They'll take some beating though but we always beat them at Goodison. Really hope to see Barkley from the bench. Got a feeling that'll only happen if we're a couple of goals up though.

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - after the way we started, 8th would be a great achievement !....throw in a wembley semi...and all in all not a bad season at all..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 20:35:07
There will be some class players going cheap this summer. I'd be delighted with Pogbreynak, Hoillett, Pienaar. That would be an immense summer of business. There are a load of other really good players going on free's or cheap as chips too, I just cant remember them. {Ed025's Note - the problem with free agents...is that they command a high wage, due to there being no fee..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 20:23:18
we need a strong forward who can support Jelavic and chip in with goals (Steven Fletcher) and a right winger with a good cross (Donovan) as well as securing Pienaar on a permanent. {Ed025's Note - i dont know if fletcher is the answer mate...but what do i know, i thought gibbo was a bad buy i cant open my eyes now!...with all the egg on my face..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 20:03:38
According to my sources Everton are looking at William Ralph Dean. Well if everyone else is going to post crap then why not give it a go. ;) {Ed025's Note - he would cost about £100m in todays market..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

If we DO sign Hoilett we would have 2 of FIFA's Official "13 (young) players to watch in 2012"...

A few rumours at the moment that there could be some players leaving the club inj the summer.
Those that are believed to be on there way out are Cahill, Jagielka, Distin and Coleman.

Personally i'd want to keep all of these, think Coleman needs another season to prove himself he still young, Distin still has a coupe of years in him, really fit and athletic for his age(and quick) something we lack in defense.
Cahill would be a great player from the bench next season in my opinion and Jagileka, although Heitinga and Distin have been better this season there is no doubt that Jagielka AT HIS BEST is one of the top centre backs in the country

Believable1 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 18:24:50
Also forgot to add that Tottenhams last four games are Bolton, Blackburn and Villa all fighting relagation then Fulham last day, they could lose all these matches.... {Ed024's Note - We'll see

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 18:09:01
Europa league is still possible, just need to win all four remaining games, and rely on Harry's form to continue if Tottenham lose all remaining games... I know it's a long shot but after Sunday anythings possible! {Ed024's Note - Out of reach, but i am optimistic for next season

Believable0 Unbelievable1

25 Apr 2012 12:41:26
Have it on good authority that Moyse is going to work with SAF next season and will take the reins at MUFC following season
We are looking at a double act of Roberto Martinez & Robert Di Matteo once Harry Redknapp goes to Chelsea - Roy Hodgson to England and Brendan Rodgers to Spurs and Gus Poyet off to Swansea...the merry go round continues... {Ed024's Note - Moyes won't leave in my opinion, he is a very loyal manager who wants to finish the job at goodison

Believable3 Unbelievable9

One word RUBBISH i said yesterday Moyes is in discussion over money for transfer targets everyone know fergie aint quitting for two more years dont wast time on rubbish speculation

Agree0 Disagree0

How would one person, some random, know the inner sanctums of 6 or so clubs and the national team?

Complete garbage, there would never be this sort of merry go round, surely there would be candidates from all the other leagues involved.

Think someone is a bit bored at work today

also There's much speculation lately over the captain of Germany under-21s Lewis Holtby.

The highly-rated attacking midfielder whose dad was a Scouse soldier stationed on the Rhine, supported England when they beat Germany 5-1 in 2001 and has let it be known he is open to persuasion to switch allegiance to his paternal country.

Which has led people to urge the FA to give him a call-up before he wins his first full German cap. Naturally they’re dithering, which means it won’t happen.

But England’s failure to act should be Everton’s gain. Holtby seems determined to impress his old man, an Everton fanatic who took his five year-old son to Wembley in 1995 to see them lift the FA Cup.
WW SHOULD SNAP UP ON THIS BEST REPLACEMENT FOR CAHILL ed?

toffee haz {Ed024's Note - Sign him i say, i know moyes rates him

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Would be an amazing signing really.

The lad has played some big games, is what only 21/22, in the last year of his contract so would be around 5/6mil really, i think is a gifted footballer and can play in behind the striker or as a creative winger, two areas Everton need strengthening. And on top of that he is a massive Evertonian.

Him and Pienaar would be absolutely amazing, would even sacrifice Jagielka if it meant we get Pienaar and Holtby.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has played twice for germany. Would still love him at everton {Ed025's Note - and so say all of us..

Agree0 Disagree0

Farfan, Pranjic, these two would be out of contract in summer and read this.
Lewis Holtby's father, Chris Holtby, is a former English soldier from Liverpool who was stationed at the Rheindahlen RAF base in Mönchengladbach.[13] Holtby's mother is German. Lewis, like his father is a fan of Everton F.C. and has said it would be a dream come true to play for them.

Lewis said: "My father was born in England and was a Everton fan since the age of five. He immediately infected me with the Everton! Since then I have been a Everton fan and have always followed their games. ed your thoughts

toffee haz {Ed024's Note - I would love pranjic as he is quality and lewis is a very good player who would jump at the chance to come to goodison, so if the funds can be released i say sign them both

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Where have you been for the last 2 years? Everyone knows that Lewis is an Everton fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was posting so people can understand a realistic player we could afford!

toffee haz

Agree0 Disagree0

Holtby would be a class addition, but I don't know where we would get 5/6mil to sign him, unless we sell someone (jags).

Agree0 Disagree0

We can't afford him haz, he is Schalke's number 10 and is valued highly over there, would cost upwards of £10m imo {Ed025's Note - i think your right mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

He only has 12 months left on his contract so i think we would be able to afford him

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - i dont see us doing much business bez..the priority for me is pienaar, and maybe a free...pranjic would do..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2012 12:18:02
Has drenthe gone now or what ed? The club is not giving much away! {Ed024's Note - He has pretty much been told he has no future at the club and to stay away, someone like that itsn't going to stay at any club too long

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2012 09:30:39
I have been talking to a bayern fan who claims pranjic is the real deal, he can can play at cm, lb and lw, he is equally competent in all of the positions and rates him very highly, i hope moyes resurrects the deal

Bez the blue

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Would love to see Pranjic at Everton, think as a freebie, would add both quality and depth to our squad, we are lacking in left sided cover for both fullback and winger and he could do both, not to mention, I still think he is a decent player.

I am hoping he still wants to come to Everton, seemed really upset with the move breaking down on deadline day, so hopefully he is still interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has been frozen out at bayern and would be desperate to sign for us, he is just what we need.

Did anyone see Big Dunc's interview on Sky a couple of days ago, looked totally confident and says he wants to become a manager one day, sounded like Moyesee, what a legend to us blues and miss the guy playing so much. Jeff Stelling asked Gary Neville what it was like playing against him and he replied that Ferguson used to tell his players to be nice to him and ask him how his family was doing otherwise you would wind him up lol.

This may have already been brought up but just reminded me by one of our posters putting him and Jelly in the same team, IF ONLY

Miss you Dunc, true blue

Ed. If we get Dempsey, is it likely when Donovans contract ends he will come back to Everton. And if he does do you think with 3 Superstar Americans in our side we could get heaps more sponsorship dollars and maybe a takeover. One last thing. Watching Phil Neville on the weekend and plenty of people bag him, but I think he should be the next Everton Manager with Alan Irvine by his side. What do you think? {Ed025's Note - having 3 americans would certainly do no harm in the sponsorship stakes mate...and im a big fan of phil, but as a first managerial post...its a no from me, far too much pressure, he needs to start at a lower level..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

25 Apr 2012 01:05:53
How much of a fee do you think Lewis would command? As I think he could be the perfect player to play in behind jelavic

Blue Dan {Ed024's Note - He would fit in well, i think without checking he has 12 months left on his contract, so i am guessing the fee could be around the 5 mill mark

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't know if you read my mind but I was talking about Lewis Holtby who's contract is up 2013 Blue Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewis holtby would be a great option to go for and he would be keen on the move being a blue

Bez the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally would LOVE this to happen.

free agents that we could buy:
Ederson
Tranquillo Barnetta
Jefferson Farfan
Ed do you rate any of these players + do you think we coul get them?
Blue kaz {Ed025's Note - the only one i know of them kaz...is farfan, and his wages would be too much mate..
