Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

25 Apr 2013 19:03:53
What are the chances of everton retiring the number 17 jersey?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why would we do that for?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cahill was a great player for us but we have had players who were a lot better and won a lot at the club, why shouldn't their numbers be retired?

So Moyes has said he will be more than happy to see Fellaini here next season. 1 Moyes must be staying. 2He might of got word from Bill that Fellaini won't be sold. 3 Maybe he knows there is a decent transfer kitty for him aswell next season, I just feel Moyes is telling us in other words he won't be leaving and will sign a new contract well that is my take on it anyway.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah I read that interview myself and its a strange thing for Moyes to say if he's not staying.

Kolo toure leaving man city this summer. Even though he is getting on a bit I'd take him on a free

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You might take him for free but what about his £100k a week wages? not so free after all his he {Ed025's Note - hes not for me, just on ability!..

Agree0 Disagree0

His got to have a pay cut on his wages where ever he goes shouldn't come down to wages

Agree0 Disagree0

And his ears are too distorted also!

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need any more defenders IMO.

Is it just me who thinks Sinclair and Lescott would be absolutely awful signings. Honda and De Vrij would be better alternatives.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'd have lescott

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

Im with you on that one as one is old and past it with no value whatsoever, and the other is just not good enough and would be no improvement to what we already have.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sinclair no improvement? Are you serious? The guy has explosive pace, skill and can play either side. I'd have him over Pienaar any day, who, may I add, I believe has been totally ineffectual this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pace is the only thing Sinclair has. Seriously we do not want this player. He can't play on the left as he is right footed and will only ever cut in and lose the ball. Ask any Swansea fans they will tell you the same.

They couldn't believe their luck when City came in for him.

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

Sinclair would be a vast improvement on Pienaar on current form. And Pienaar is no spring chicken. With explosive pace on both wings and the full back positions we would be a much greater attacking threat. Just need someone like Benteke up front, or, even better, Benteke himself. Not going to happen (Benteke), though I would take Sinclair, for sure.

Can I ask all the people who were saying about 'how we missed out on Forren' in jan to tell me what we missed out on

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's not even played a game 4 southampton yet - think he was an Adkins signing

How about toure from city would do a job even a 32

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just adds to our already ageing squad

Agree0 Disagree0

How about not {Ed025's Note - not sounds good to me..

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want lescott toure or sinclair thank you very much.

Happily take Sinclair. Was class at Swansea. Plastic football followers would have forgotten that. As for Lescott and Toure, still class CBs, twice the ability of Heitinga. Would take all 3.

If we bring in Honda, Lukaku on loan, lescott/dragovic and a centre mid I would be a very satisfied blue.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Could ou see chelsea loaning him out to us? For the most part of the season we have been contenders to possibly take their place in the champions league. Why would they aid are hopes next season?

Couple of budget players I think we could look at. Adam Le Fondre is a goal machine but doesn't even get in Reading team. I'd offer 1.5m. Kolo Toure is on a free transfer and I think he still has 2/3 good years in him (especially after all those steroids). Townsend is showing potential and would be worth investigating and I think Craig Gardner of Sunderland is another underrated player who can play across midfield. Wigans Shaun Maloney has impressed me too. Def worth a 3m bid.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

In one post, you've just turned us into a relegation team. No offence mate, can see where you're coming from but to maintain 6th (nevermind progress) we need better players in our side than that

Agree0 Disagree0

Awful suggestions {Ed025's Note - im actually a fan of le fondre..

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. terrible suggestions.

stewillow

Agree0 Disagree0

Vermallen from Arsenal on a free and mcmanaman from Wigan how did we
Let him go. Remmy from QPR

Agree0 Disagree0

Le Fondre scores goals and would be cheap. Maloney is a classy player, twice the player of Naismith. Townsend looks a classy player with pace, Toure is proven at the very highest level and Craig Gardner would be a squad player. If you think we can go out and sign box office then your deluded.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maloney was rubbish at Villa

Agree0 Disagree0

Frank Ribery was rubbish at Galatasary.

Agree0 Disagree0

Twice the player of naismith, bloody hell, i'm twice the play of naismith

Now that's what you call a big squad and well with in budget. most important signing is Mr Moyes. What do you think of that squad for next season Ed?.

Dero. {Ed025's Note - if that was the squad we ended up with dero, i think we would all be very happy toffee,s mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I wouldn' Ed's, Springthorpe at LB and Hibbert at CB. I'm sure even playing CM on the x box would highlight these. {Ed025's Note - i said the squad mate, not the positions dero put them in..

Agree0 Disagree0

Springthorpe is a goalkeeper!

Agree0 Disagree0

4 million for a back-up keeper at this moment in time would be a waste of money. Lescott would be an awful signing. Diame, fer and honda would be good signings. I couldn't see chelsea loaning Lukaku out to us, espeially considering Lukaku wants to go back to West Brom if he is not getting first time football. Sinclair is not worth 6 million. He his not a decent player. I think the Malaga goalkepper would be better if we could get in on the cheap, not sure how much he would cost though. We need a big striker to be signed permanently. {Ed025's Note - big strikers are a thing of the past mate, unless they have good mobility..

Agree0 Disagree0

I no Springthorpe is a goal keeper, the names under others are in no particular order. 1 more thing Lukaku wants to go out on loan and stated he does not want to go back to WBA.

Dero.
