Posted many months ago of the shambolic state of affairs regarding our backroom medical staff who surely now must be held accountably for sanctioning signings of players who are clearly not fit for the rigours of the Premiership.
Sorry but this latest news breaking must surely be the final straw for Kenwright.
If I go to buy a second hand car I take a mate whose a mechanic, if he tells me to buy a 'pup' then I won't use him again. These guys are well payed and are useless!

{Ed025's Note - thats unfair mushy, players getting injured is a fact of life mate, if you mean traore he was a last minute loan who was a gamble thats true, but why your giving bill grief over it is beyond me..

You need to pop over to utd's pages for a laugh, all the Moyes lovers have finally give up on the guy and Seamus is off in the Summer.

Enjoy

Didnt you hear? BK has finally convinced the producers of Coronation Street to take the show as a musical on an around the world tour. Its set to have a star studded cast with the likes of Bruce Forsyth, Sly stallone and Katie Hopkins. And from the profits of that tour, we might be able to buy a plot of land for a stadium. But mums the word.

our former employee's side losing 2-0
makes you want to cry

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have sympathy for him, he is the greatest manager we have ever had and people are having a go at him.

Have you all forgotten the 11 glorious years that we had under this magnificent manager.

Anyone having a go should be ashamed of themselves.

We should get him back if Martinez leaves.

Top class manager.

The Moyesiah.

Football Genius.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont know how to take that mike?...i hope your being ironic, i was glad to see the back of him myself, he had taken us as far as he could, but the way he left and subsequent dealings means there is no sympathy from me mate..

Come on ed mate. How long have I been on here.

You must have gotten to know my style by now.

I couldn't stand him when he was our manager. Surely you remember all the arguments I had by telling everyone how crap he is. (And all the abuse I suffered because of it.)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - sorry mike, i should have known better...but a guy who goes against the grain as much as you made me wonder for a minute there.. :)

He was a good manager for us it's not his fault the united team is poor the only players I'd take from them are:
De gea- does a good job without a defence or midfield
Januazi- There only hope long term
Mata- why the hell did he go there
Rooney- if he takes a 85% pay cut

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im not a big mata fan myself quinny, he was a panic buy for me mate to keep the natives happy..

Quinnys post is even more sarcastic than mine. Moyes was a good manager, that's a good one that mate, you almost had me there.

And Are you forgetting about Chris Smalling, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverly, Quinny?

Are you really saying you wouldn't take these 4 English superstars in our team, the 4 players Englands World Cup challenge is going to be based upon.

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't hate him like Mike did, but was pretty fed up with him by the end of last season. But Mike does have a point with the English players at Utd. They are rubbish or at least they all were tonight.

I'm not gloating here but we would have rolled that team over tonight easily. Where has uniteds passing game gone. If they finish above us in the league this season on that showing tonight then I'd be very disappointed

Agree0 Disagree0

David Moyes is a one dimensional manager. His tactics are not suitable for a team who go into every match as favourites. He knows no other way and can only inspire a certain type of player to work hard. When it comes to talent he doesn't know what to do with it. If he was a nice man I'd feel sorry for him. But he isn't. He is a hard nosed, dour human being. And a hypocrite. All these so called values he stands for and yet he try's to rob his old team of their best player for buttons and will no doubt relentlessly chase more with his 'War Chest' this summer. If he lasts that long that is.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not a big fan then oli?.. :)

Just heard on that Traore is now likely to be out for somewhere in the region of 6/7 weeks with hamstring problems. Just our luck, having only just introduced him in the FA Cup and yet to make a showing in the Premiership. We've now got to keep Lukaku and Naismith injury free until the end of the season. If one of those breaks down it's then down to the kids.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Might not be a bad thing dave. After all lukaku seems to have gone to pot.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think lukaku has had a bad press bodie, he has had a bit of a slump recently thats true, but he is still young and learning his trade, im afraid goodison is, or has, become a bit of a graveyard for strikers, not since graeme sharp can i remember one being prolific, i just hope his stock has gone down a bit so that we can afford him, and he turns out to be the player we all know he can be mate...i would also like bony as well,,

I would prefer bony ed. Imo

Hi Ed. Do you or anyone else know the contact email for the Premier League Refereeing Association or, better still, for their peer organisation whoever that is that I can email. I want to write and ask an explanation of the statistic that shows certains teams are given decisions that are of immense benefit toi the recipient team yet this decion defies everyday evidence. I want to discover whether this statistic is a behavorial trait, procedural or individual. I would love to document from research of data, how often certain teams are given dubious decisions, often at crucial times and why other teams never benefit. There is a wealth of footballing data and I want to run data that will show EFC are victim of the dubious decision that defies logical explanation.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good luck with that, Toronto. I admire your determination & passion for our great club, but I really do believe that you would be p*ssing into the wind. Like you, I get so annoyed & wound up with so many of the decisions given, (v. City at the Etihad earlier in the season, for example), but, the sad fact seems to be, the wealthiest clubs get the most decisions in their favour. I'm not saying that the refs are on the take, but the sad fact in this country today is that so many people are impressed & influenced by the rich, no matter how arrogant or nasty they are. Most of the refs seem to be like this with the wealthy clubs &, no doubt, these same clubs have influence up to the highest level of the game.
I know it's frustrating not having any silverware, (YET!), but 's a good feeling being able to hold your head high as an Evertonian & know that all the plaudits our recent football brings, & any future trophies, will have been earned, & not just bought.
IR(&K)IT.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck mate. I know where you are coming from. Particularly bookings. The Naismith one a few weeks ago when he put the ball in the net after the ref blew is a prime example. I have seen other top 4 games since where this has happened and players are spoken to rather than booked like Naismith was. When the poorer clubs like ours do not have big enough squads. and then suspensions kick in, we are at a double disadvantage.
I spoke with Tony Adams some years back about this when he was assistant coach at Portsmouth. He told me that Portsmouth had presented such evidence to the FA . can't remember exactly, but something along the lines of Manchester United 14 fouls = 1 booking. Portsmouth 6 fouls = 1 booking. I know not all fouls are the same, but we all know that the Manchester United players used to surround refs in the premiership and get away with murder. Then when Manchester United play in Europe or their players represent England, the European/world refs are much stricter and send their players off! This applies to all the Champions League teams not just Man Utd.

Many thanks Evertonians! Just to let you know I am asking a Researcher and Mathematician, friends of mine, if they are ready and willing to prepare the data I need. Needless to say, they are EFC through and through but will produce sustainable data runs, observations and determine patterns. I will keep you posted as soon as possible.

Love Roberto but feel he needs to tweak things slightly! We have good possession and are pretty solid at the back! We get the ball in and around oppositions area quite easily but from there onwards is where we are struggling! Need to shoot more and get more crosses in! We are guilty of trying to walk it in sometimes when the better option might be to swing a leg at it! Also we are looking a bit tired recently! A few players need to be rested and inject some pace into our game! I think del and Barkley should start on Saturday! I know they were both pretty poor when they came on at Chelsea but they are both quality players and if given the nod to start I'm sure they will up there game! Pienaar and ossie need a rest!
Howard
Coleman jags distin baines
Barry mcarthy
Del Barkley mirallas
Lukaku

Plenty of pace with the attacking 4 plus with Coleman and baines overlapping will provide even more pace, get lukaku to stay in and around the area! Bang crosses in every chance chance we get! Mirallas and del to cut in and play quick one twos with Barkley! We need to mix it up inject some pace and urgency into our game! Really need to be putting chances away and finishing teams off! We are more than capable of doing it! A couple of high scoring games would do our goal differences a world of a good aswell!
Let's start with a good win this weekend!

been thinking about the season, I think we needed to strengthen in january, I think we needed a fit striker and I think we needed another midfielder, unfortunately we got none, whether or not martinez is saving the money for lukaku in the summer I don't know, I hope not, the boy has an ego and despite being the complete striker physically, he lacks any form of technical ability and cannot head the ball, I believe we are a team for next season, I believe be got these loans in to test how good the team is, he didn't want to make loads of changes, why fix what isn't broke? I think in the summer he will go out and buy 5 or 6 good players, I think we need a right back (we lack and out and out young right back as browning, pennington and stones are all centre backs), a centre back who can pass the ball (i love milkman, jags, stones and alcatraz, alcaraz and stones for their ball playing ability, I will move on to alcaraz in a minute) as stones is the only one under 30, someone like distin, fast, strong but can pass the ball (not many of them around) and an aerial threat, I pointed this out a while ago, our centre backs even under moyes, do not score enough headers, a holding midfielder, preferably I would want someone who can read the game and pass it (like schneiderlin) rather than a strong player who lumps around the whole game, an attacking midfielder who can play that final pass, i'm not having a go at ross or the other one who shall not be named because he is so bad :) but they lack thr vision and passing range to play a through ball, and obviously 2 strikers at the least, although I do belive mcaleny and hope are ready for the first team, we don't need a winger even if doofy loofy doesn't stay on, why? we have mirallas, pienaar, mcgeady (who again I will get on to in a minute) and young matthew kennedy who I thought was still 17, is now 19, so surely he is ready to come into the first team, well in and out, browning is someone who I forgot, martinez loves him, martinez himself has stated he is now ready for he first team, hurray!, first off I wanted to talk about antolin, I love him, solid against southampton and that, one bad game where he wasnt fit and neither was his partner and he is all of a sudden crap, he is a solid defender who has a great leap and doesn't mind a tackle, he is also one of the most gifted footballers I have seen (even at wigan) at centre back, I love german football, I love mats hummels, now if course hummels is better, but they both start attacks from the back, yes alcaraz has had a few injury problems but at least give him a chance, people saying we should sell in the summer, well why? I know we need a centre back, but why pay for 2 and sell one (with prem experience) instead of buying one and letting antolin teach the lads a thing or two about playing from the back? anyway I like him, for free and taking up half jonnys wages he was a bargain, injury prone or not, now mcgeady, oh sorry mcgreedy, I don't rate him, I called him tosh the other day despite him only starting 2 games and playing well in both, remember baines and jags in their first seasons? took em a while ay? aiden can become a key attacking threat if he starts being more greedy, I think next season will be when we should judge the players, the manager and the team in general, will money be available I don't know, i'm neither a kenwright fan or hater, frankly I couldn't give a sh*t, he is keeping the club alive, that's good enough for me, next season we will also, don't forget, have oviedo baby, gibbo and arouna, three players who can all make an impact (ed I have question for you which I don't have a clue on, antonio valencia broke his leg and lost a yard of pace, same with eduardo, david villa went from fast to slow with one break, do you think oviedo will lose his pace after he recover? really hope not it is a key element to his game), gibbo is injured a lot blah blah blah, still a good player, a leader and a bargain at 250k, oviedo we all love and kone, well I don't want another argument over him, I will give him next season, this season has been good, is it over? yes definitely, but it is bobbys first season when imo, as I said, he was testing the team, they will finish above us, so what? yenno? so what, its happened before, we will get on with it as we always have done, the lads will hopefully go for the fa cup now, its all we have left, the spirit of the mighty blues is as high as its ever been, let's continue to spit in the face of adversity, we will bitch slap the doubters as we have always done, its only football right? no everton is my life, our life, everton aren't we?

Mike-Ox Long

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't believe this Mike. Lukaku can't head the ball? What about against the sh*te and the brilliant lay off for Mirallas against WBA. just 2 that spring to mind. Go back to our previous discussions about wasting 6/7 million on Kone. A 15 mil bid for Bony at Swansea would have been better in my humble opinion. I agree with some of your post mate, but I do not agree with the rest.

That was a read and a half. Took a while mind you. But I agree with all of it

yes I would prefer bony over kone too mate, lukaku cannot head the ball, against west brom he didn't win a header, against arsenal he didn't win a header, he just cannot do it, and the way we hoof it up, he needs to learn how to head it, or at least how to jump, pienaar has scored a headed goal, should we play him alongside lukaku and play as two target men for jags to pump the ball to? thought not, if he scores a header fine, he cannot jump however, he failed to beat both phil bardesly and carlos cuellar in the air at home to sunderland multiple times, either way, the lad is overrated and the sooner he goes back to chelsea the sooner we can start playing with a moblile and skillful striker who actually uses his pace and power

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

Disagree with Mike on this one. He has scored enough with his head for me to think he is at least ok in the air. Very brave too. Remember his first goal for us was with his head and he duly got knocked out for the privilege. Saying he can't head the ball is harsh unfair and not accurate.

I will say that he is overrated when fees of 25 million are quoted, but he's still a very good striker who is young still with a lot of promise.

{Ed025's Note - im with you ace..

Wonder if we are quoted £15mill for lukaku or bony what people would opt as our summer transfer target. (Options of both are eliminated for the purpose of the experiment, although if we could get both for £30mill would other blues be happy with that as good business and barely any other areas being strengthened?)
