Great result today. 2 weeks off and you always come back a bit rusty.
Gana was much better today and deserved MOM. He was slow and lethargic against Boro but today he was quicker in his passing and more controlled.
Barkley seems to be getting better each game and with Southgate in the crowd would have impressed. Even more so would Davies first half display. He seems built to dominate anyone he comes up against and is as hard as nails. Marking Kone at corners today and beating him up was impressive.
I thought the defence was solid but Mori was outstanding. Another player getting better due to Koemans influence.
We need to up our game though next week but maybe we suit playing the bigger teams. Either way we are closing that gap. A win at Spurs would be a huge statement and put us genuinely in line to challenge the CL spots THIS season!

Well done blues today couldn't go to the game today or see it today but we'll done all the same RM continues to prove me wrong but not complaining.

6 points off 3rd. Worst case 9 points as those above us have game in hand. However with Spurs, Liverpool and United all to play then Arsenal closing day it is in many ways in our own hands if we can push on in to the top 6 and beyond.

Well our season will be determined over the next few games. We need to pick up max points today. We also need to beat WBA in a couple of weeks. let's hope the crowd get behind the players and not on top of them.

What do u lot think davieys reception will be like today, I personally home he gets a cheer and not a load of boos yea he deserved it last time when he was with the mancs but ad like to think that's out of our systems and we can cheer a man who gave this club 11 years of his life today.

I wouldn't boo him. But I wouldn't cheer either. I fully recognise what he did for the club. But the manner in which he left was sneaky. And his comments on our players he tried to sign was disrespectful. If Goodison want to cheer him then ok. I'll just keep it low key.
